Nostalgia Alert: What's the first game you ever fell in love with?
Kennysplash replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
I will say Tetris. I was still very young then, but I got so hooked to it that I was eventually cautioned. That was my very first video game, and I wanted more. -
I've always been sceptical of game that try and take a single mechanic and expand it into being the whole game. In this case, it's the crafting/gathering mechanics that are in lots of MMO's. However, I do find myself more optimistic with this one. It may not be the most complicated game in the world, but I like it's style and that roots in-game success in cooperation, unlike other survival MMO's that are beacon calling all ass-holes. This is one worth keeping an eye on.

What you need know about Bitcraft is that the game is a community-driven sandbox MMORPG. In this game, you're going to partake in farming, hunting, crafting, city-building, social strategy and so many other things. Although, there's no official release date of the game, but its closed alpha test have started on April 2, 2024. It's going to be released on PC first before it will come to other platforms. What do you think about this game?

Playing video games is a hobby for most people. There are so many people who started playing when they were kids and have kept playing heavily as adults. This act have affected them in so many ways and including on their social lives. A lot of them don't know how to socialise with people in the real world outside gaming. Have playing video games affected your social life?

What do you make of this new game Sker Ritual? I would say that from the trailer, it looks fun with the touch of horror, shooting and a feel of magic and RPG in it. Would you be playing Sker Ritual?
-
It actually depends on what I'm in the mood for but most times, it's going to be adventure games that I prefer to play when I want to relax and enjoy myself. The whole exploration part of the game offers soothing experience.
-
Personally, I don't use it. I have it turned off in any game that I play because I don't want to get any thing that's going to aggravate me when I'm playing the game.

Online Gaming Communities: Love-Hate Relationship?
Heatman replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
Talk about how toxic some of these online gaming communities can be, it's one of my biggest reasons for trying everything possible to stay away from them if I can. It's unless when I can't and really needed something (information) from them that you can find me there. -
The last video game that I played was Sea of Star. It was a PC game that was recommended to me by a good friend of mine which I turned out to enjoy very much. I've been playing it for a while now.

Leveraging Technology to Tackle Global Issues
Knight Barida replied to killamch89's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Technology has impacted positively to global health research, and that is a great way to keep making the work of saving lives easier for health practitioners. There are machines that now make it pretty easy and that is something that I like a lot. -
Should Mobile Phones Be Restricted in Specific Locations?
Knight Barida replied to killamch89's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Yes, it should be restricted in some areas. The main thing is when we are looking at the needs for such restrictions. Mobile usage in areas where studies are done should be restricted because of distractions that it brings. -

Have you played the Final Fantasy 7 remake series yet?
Knight Barida replied to Smokey's topic in Playstation
I have been getting some bad reviews about the changes that they made on the game and that is the reason I haven't played it at all. Unless there is a fix, I don't think that I am going to play the game. -
Manchester City is currently in 2nd in the English Premier League rankings, but have an extra game at hand. With few games left, do you think City are going to become champions again or lose it to Arsenal?

Dream Dinner Date: Which Sports Celebrity Would You Choose?
Knight Barida replied to killamch89's topic in Sports
When I am left to pick, I am going to pick C. Ronaldo. I will want to meet this guy and have him talk about how he was able to stay on top of his game for many years now. He has grown to the age where he should be slowing down, but here we are with him still playing on the top of his game. -
Mount Everest or Deep Sea Diving? What's Your Pick?
Knight Barida replied to killamch89's topic in Sports
This will be a tough choice, but I will go with Mount Everest climbing. I know for sure that I am someone who doesn't enjoy swimming and going to where my fears are bigger is more like picking my death route. -
Leicester City will be returning back to the English Premier League less than two seasons after their drop into the Championship. The manner in which they went down, no one believed that they were going to gain promotion, but here we are. What do you make of their return to the English Premier League?

It is pertinent to look at it from the marketing side. Does Sony think it is worth it venturing into making a new handheld device? If they find no serious reason with it, they will end up not getting along with it at all. It is not all about competing with Nintendo.

Do you consider yourself wasting too much time and money on games?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
Exactly. It’s more than a pastime activity for me, it’s been an integral part of my life. This makes me remember a quote: If it’s wholesome and it makes you happy, then it’s not a waste of time. -
A quick heads up. It is strongly advised that if you mod Fallout 4 on PC to NOT install the "Next Gen" update. The will break modded saves and some mods might not work after the update. If you have bought the game through a DRM free platform like GOG, not updating the game shouldn't be a problem, but on Steam updates are forced with no way to turn them off. Thankfully, there is a way explained in this video:
