  2. THANK YOU!!!! Never tell people anything unless you enjoy getting used and abused. And who knows how long they plan to remain on your good side before they betray you? But if I was being forced to pick one person, it would be @Rain Dew for obvious reasons. We have been together for 20 years come October.
  3. I understand that all too well. I was with a girl in high school who I was madly in love with, and the feeling was mutual for her as well. Or so I thought, until I caught her cheating on me with a boy. I was so devastated that I simply wanted to die. That was 25 years ago. There’s always going to be a part of me that loves her, but despite that, I absolutely hate her for what she did to me. Never Forgive Never Forget —the tattoos on my wrists.
  4. I know you said this was for the men here, but despite being a lesbian, I think guys tend to look most attractive when they’re a bit scruffy. Like they haven’t shaved in a week or two.
  5. He recorded some of the most amazing songs ever. And his signature spin along with the move he basically created (which was the moonwalk) can never be challenged.
  6. I’m a child of the 80’s and still love that music to this day. I call it a scientific fact that music attained perfection in 1986. I know that’s exaggeration, but it expresses an opinion. The bile that came out in the 90’s can hardly be called music, as it flat out is NOT music. It’s nothing more than vomit with a guitar. I couldn’t stand it then, and I can’t stand it now. The 90’s is in no way “classic rock” and it never will be. To be worthy of the label “classic” there has to be at least one redeeming quality. Nineties “music” has no redeemable qualities, as it has no quality to begin with. For that entire decade there is not one single song that wasn’t a puked up carbon copy of every other performer. Not a single band or soli act had anything original or unique. Britney was Beyonce was Tatu was Kittie was Aguilera was Avril N*Sync was Backstreet was 98° was LFO was Sugar Ray was Staind And so on. Again this is one woman’s opinion. It’s not meant to persuade anyone, it’s just my own personal opinion. It’s one of the main reasons why I absolutely hate mainstream music, with only a handful of exceptions. I can count them on one hand. Not counting 80’s rock, I listen exclusively to underground music.

  9. I agree with you @Kane99. You can tell this list was made up by people who write for a music publication, not a gaming one. Rolling Stone has picked some wickedly good game soundtracks made up of licenced compilations but showed almost no interest games with thier own soundtracks made for the game itself. I counted I think only 6 or 7 out of the 25 as having thier own, indigenous music instead of licenced songs. Rolling stone, stick to your lane. I posted some of my favourites in this thread not to long ago, so I'll just link to my post instead of repeating myself.
  10. Rolling Stone has released their top 25 best video game soundtracks. You can view the full list here: https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/rs-gaming-lists/best-video-game-soundtracks-1235005941/lollipop-chainsaw-2012-1235012615/ The top three they have are; 1. Vice City 2. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Life is Strange No Silent Hill, Red Dead Redemption, Donkey Kong Country, Journey, etc. Do you agree with any of their choices? I agree the majority they chose have decent to great soundtracks. I think this list mostly focusses on games with licensed music over in-house produced soundtracks. Also, Life is Strange had a decent soundtrack, but I wouldn't call it a top 10 soundtrack. I feel like this list is missing out on some classics.
  11. Well, the was a topic started about this game when it was first announced and the consensus back then was not good. A generic, live service, FTP looter shooter seen as a complete slap in the face to Tom Clancy fans. I commented on it to; And I will admit Ubisoft have taken some positive steps. The more direct link to Tom Clancy Ubisoft had been planting all over the marketing for this game at first has been drowned out and replaced with a more generalised "Ubisoft Allstars" feel, like an "Ubisoft Smash Bro's" and as that it makes more sense. So whilst I give them credit for that my interest in this remains very low. I'm not a fan of these types of games at the best of times and I do not trust a major publisher like Ubisoft when they go FTP.
  12. I'm surprised there isn't a topic about XDefiant here. Has anyone here played it since it released? It dropped last week and seems to be quite popular as of late. I don't expect it to last like Fortnite has, but I can see it being popular for a little while. I've been hearing it's got a lot of players at the start, but that doesn't necessarily mean those players will stick around. This is Ubisoft we're speaking of, and their track record hasn't been great. It's a free to play FPS developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, who is responsible for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and they did some work on past Assassin's Creed and Far Cry games. I hear the closed beta did really good too. Has anyone here given the game a try yet? Is it worth checking out? One thing I heard is that the factions in the games revolve around popular Ubisoft titles, like Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon, etc. Like with one of the factions being "DedSec" which is the hacker group from Watch Dogs.
  13. Well, I happened to hear another rumour from "Dusk Golem" - this time stating that RE0 and CV are next in line for remakes and not RE1 as previously suggested. To be honest, I cannot be bothered to whine about it. I'm naturally not excited, giving how Capcom is just churning out cash grabs now, that are cheesy, missing certain enemy types, and look dull and soulless. So very sad. Don't feel so sure? Just check out the 2020 RE3 remake. It's a travesty. Anyway, RE9 is supposedly far off. Dusk is now indicating 2025 or 26, but he seems to be feeling apologetic for any confusion he may have caused.
  14. Gone are the days we have the time to play as we like. As we grow older we have more responsibilities, so we can’t afford to spend hours on a daily basis anymore. But we still make out time for it, regardless.
  15. Yeah if you had it and don’t anymore that feeling would have been different. Are you sure work would be the way to go? You need something fun, that can relax you when you are not working.
  16. My aim is nothing to write home about. That is why I prefer guns that have the target mark on them. Makes it very easy for me, especially to do headshot.
  17. Definitely laugh with it. It had robots but I don't really remember the story. I got it on PS now and played it on my PS 4.It really looked great. It wasn't groundbreaking but I have to admit it was very fun. That and the campaign on COD 3 are the only Calls of duties I 've played.
  18. Was it Die Hard "laugh with it" funny or Armageddon "laugh at it" funny?
  19. Another example of parents not being parents IMO.I'm fairly certain the shooter was giving signs that he wasn't well mentally and no one checked into it.
  20. I usually try for a while and then look up a walkthrough to get past annoying/ difficult parts.I'm sooo dumb when it comes to even the most basic of puzzles in games.
  21. I'm a single player off line player so I won't be playing this.I did play the campaign of Black ops 3 ( I think) and it was much funner than I thought it would be.It was a blast which is surprising considering the other COD's.
  22. I'm not a fan of Beat Saber, it's not my kind of thing, but I have seen over the years videos on YouTube of people playing the game to some pretty obscure songs. Like this one: And this one, a song that's from the soundtrack of an entirely different game, Devil May Cry 5: (By the way, I did check with Wikipedia, and as far as I can tell, neither of these are available in the game as standard or as additional purchases) Because of that, I always assumed that Beat Saber used a technology similar to (but obviously more sophisticated than) music visualisation and procedural generation to create the target patterns. Now you're telling me you have to purchase these? I did look into it and it is apparently quite possible to mod the game so you can add custom music: If that's the case, why would anyone buy songs and song packs for the game at all if you can just use whatever music you want? Again, I've never even played the game, so I'm asking from a place completely devoid of knowledge, but am I missing something here?
  23. Last week
  24. It’s hard to say what we can do for the future. What we do know is that technology always progresses and the good comes with the bad. Technology is a gateway, those who invent it and use it need morality to invent and use it; it’s heaven and hell. Everything we have created is a double edged sword. So if I came up with a solution to solve a world problem, that solution will be used to further create problems. For example, we utilize electricity for all our modern basic necessities, but at the loss of simple freedom and human relations. The Bronze Age, the Iron Age, all were useful to push humans forward, but also to kill everything. Travel, land air and sea, polluting land air and sea. Going to space looking for a habitable environment while caring nothing for Earth. Medicine to be abused. And don’t think for a second the anti science anti progression religious fenes are the answer. Because just like everything else, their creation of religion was supposed to be for good purposes but instead creates wars, oppression, and every form of bigotry. What I would create is a fucking house next to a waterfall and live my life and not be bothered by the human parasite.
  25. I watched this 80's slasher film called Just Before Dawn. These movies kept George Kennedy employed, at the very least. 😄
  26. Something that has become popular over the years are season passes in mobile games. Some of them offer some great incentives whilst others are quite plain and not worth the purchase. I never used to buy season passes in mobile games but I found that I was playing Farmville 3 a lot and realized they have a season pass and figured I would purchase it knowing that I would complete it each time without issue. Do you buy season passes in mobile games?
  27. This past week it has been announced that the next game in the Call of Duty franchise will be Black Ops 6. Over the years we have had some Call of Duty games that have been quite lack lustre and it has put people off the game, many even turning to other games. Black Ops 6 so far, whilst it is looking good and it also being announced that it will be on Game Pass on Day One, some people are still not eager to run back to Call of Duty just yet. Will you be playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
  28. I got my kids the Oculus Quest 2 as a Christmas gift this past Christmas and they have enjoyed playing a lot of the games but the one that has been popular with them is Beat Saber. Since December up until now, I believe we have bought around 20 songs altogether either in a pack or individually and I know they will want more in the future. How many songs have you purchased on Beat Saber?
