  2. It does suck to live with a step father who had that much hate for me. To hear it on the phone, to listen in unintentionally, was very traumatic. And the fact he was cheating on my mother. To have to break the news to her.
  3. This is the ultimate Assassin’s Creed. This is what all the fans were waiting for. This…is….assassins at its finest. The ninja. How dare assassins creed flirt with the ninja. After all, we’ve been playing like ninjas since the start. This in my mind should be the finale. It should have a major map, pristine DLC with major maps. This. Is. The. Ultimate. Assassin’s Creed. Dont fuck with us fans Ubisoft. You are bringing it to the max with that location. Give us all you got. Go all out. Don’t pander to younger gamers. This should be straight adult rated. Blood, story, samurai, ninja, adults only.
  4. Me definitely. I mess up all the time. I run around looking for items and lose the story when I should flow with it. I play very many games at once, losing track of the story and having to start new again. I don’t utilize my entire arsenal for some reason. I overexplore areas compromising the story. I criticize a game before getting the jist of it; I insult games offending players that love the game. I bring politics into games. I buy micro transactions for my favorite game series. Im a lousy gamer.

  6. I'm going to post the guidelines and go through them point by point to help you better understand the purpose and what the policy is asking you to do. The TL;DR is these rules are ion place too prevent spam, phishing scams and unpermitted promotional posts and affiliate post. Fairly self explanatory for most part. This is a gaming forum, we don't want people telling us great deals on car insurance or power tools, it's not what this forum is about. It's a common spam tactic to post a link to "this game I just happened to find and I'm TOTALLY not associated with" on Steam and other platforms whether it's discounted or not. This helps root such posts out. Besides, the sub-forum is called "Video Game Deals", there no place in it for games at full price. This part is obviously involves a judgment call on the part of both the one posting the deal and moderation team. You might trust a seller that I don't and vice versa, so it's your responsibility to choose your seller wisely and justify that choice if requested by one of the mod team. In this case, your deals are on Steam, something that is obviously a trusted seller, so this isn't relevant in this case, but it's worth remembering. On top of the aforementioned reason of only wanting discounted video games talked about here, having a format to follow make spam posts more easily spotted as they tend to be copy-pasted from a generic text. This format also just helps posts remain accurate and people can have all the information they need and not get confused if they click on a link to a discounted game after the deal has ended to go to a game that's full price. That's why it's YOUR responsibility to include and end date date for the deal in you post. The images you posted do not show when these deals end, you have to mention it. This is the part whare you have gotten a little confused. We WANT you to include links to the deals, it's kind of necessary, what we don't want is people posting misleading and/or dangerous links. I'm going to do a mock post of the Planet Coaster deal you mentioned to show you what I'm on about. You don't have to format you post on video game deals exactly like this, just consider this a guide. Hi VGR. Just saw this discount on Planet Coaster on Steam and wanted to share it. There is nothing wrong with including an image to show the offer. It's actually a good idea as it helps prove the offer's legitimacy and shows a lot of additional information. The image I have used I sniped from the game's sore page on the desktop app. That's a good place to take the shot from as the end date of the offer is actually displayed, so that base is now covered along with the item, the sale price and what website/store the offer is available on. You'll notice I still list those things anyway because it's a good habit. As you can see, the is a 95% discount on Steam running until the 30th of May 2024 (I highly recommend writing out an end date full like this including the year as somebody might come across this the years after it was posted and cause confusion. Use of a numbered date numbered date can also cause confusion as some counties format it differently than others.) bringing a £29.99 game down to £1.49 (Show the price as you see it on your local store page, let others worry about currency conversions. If you wish to show the price in another currency as a courtesy you can, I often do as I live outside the US, but don't consider it necessary.). Find the game on offer at this link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/493340/Planet_Coaster/ (This is the kind of link that IS allowed. The bare link that has not been shortened or hidden so the person reading can see it's genuine) This is a hyperlink. This tool is accessible in the tool tab above the text box by clicking on the icon highlighted in the image below. If you click on this, you'll find it still goes to the Steam store page for Planet Coaster, but it can be used to hide the destination URL, so these are NOT permitted in this sub-forum for security reasons. They are free to use elsewhere on the forum. (Shortened URL's like this one I generated that also goes to the Planet Coaster store page https://shorturl.at/KHXqj are also banned for the same reason, but unlike hyperlinks are not welcome anywhere on the forum.) To summarize: (This is something I like to do just to make sure I hit all the points) This is for the game Planet Coaster This deal is on Steam at the link provided https://store.steampowered.com/app/493340/Planet_Coaster/ The game is on offer at £1.49 instead of the usual £29.99 The Deal is on at the time of this posting and runs until the 30th of May (You may have noticed I didn't include the "required" start date. That's because the Steam page doesn't list it. Saying this can help get around that problem, but if there is no start date for the offer, you don't need to include it. Just be sure the deal has been made available at the time you post about it. However, for the reasons I explained earlier, the end date must be included.) This last part is fairly self explanatory. This policy of the these rules and guidelines being subject to change without notice applied both here and for our Overall Forum Rules and Guidelines, so try to remember to check in on these rules from time to time. I hope that clears everything up.
  7. Am confused. There are no links, it clearly says Steam, shows games and price. Only thing I'm not seeing is the end dates, which honestly should be something steam does on the listing, not us.
  8. The Strangers: Chapter 1 (6/10)
  9. Ah, interesting! Yes, I didn't play that edition!
  10. There's a difference between a game that's easy and a game that's easy to play. That what these gaming elitist gatekeepers don't understand.
  11. Actually many games these days have become more mainstream and less challenging. But on the brighter side, it also means that more people can enjoy gaming.
  12. This is fun. If you search "Katamari" on Google, and click on the Katamari ball that shows up by the overview button, you can play an impromptu game, but on the web browser page itself. You simply use your arrow keys and move around the page collecting up images, and search results. It's a pretty nifty thing and I'm surprised it was hidden so well. Check it: I was probably sitting here for 20 min or so messing around with it. Check out a quick video of what I mean below:
  13. Black Ops 6 will be making an official reveal Jun 9th, during the Xbox Games Showcase. There was a website released too, called The Truth Lies, you view it here - https://thetruthlies.com/ In it you will see an old style CRT TV that shows up to 4 working channels. 1,2,3, and 6 are the working channels, while there is currently nothing on channel 4 and 5. I don't want to spoil what is in the videos, or the channels I should say, so I'll let you experience it. The new game is said to take place during the Gulf War. So that should be interesting. Are you hyped for this game? Or are you a bit tired of Call of Duty at this point?
  14. I did a little homework, and I think the issue was "The Spacer's Choice Edition", what was to the The Outer Worlds was the Special Edition was to Skyrim, an updated version with the DLC included and better visuals. According to user reviews, it was badly optimised on both PC and console with little to no improvement in the visuals with some claiming it actually looked worse than the original. I guess I just wasn't paying attention when all of this was going on.
  15. For some reason, The Outer Worlds was getting so much hate on Reddit late last year for a while! Lots of threads trashing it. I thought it was quite weird considering how old--and non-controversial--it was by then.
  16. Could you elaborate a little on that? The thing is The Outer Worlds has been, as far I'm aware, a generally well received game. For me, it's games that follow or at least resemble the "Ubisoft" style of open world. The concept is somewhat overused, I admit, but is still done in unique and creative ways, like in the Horizon franchise.
  17. I thought the answer would be obvious, but narrative driven games and any game heavy on problem solving.
  18. Honestly, no. I think certain people and fanbases say that to put down people for enjoying more mainstream and less complicated games. Soulsborne and CRPG fans I find are practically bad for this.
  19. Last week
  20. Are there any games you love that it is fashionable to loathe? For me, for example, it is The Outer Worlds.
  21. Which games do you feel a player’s experience is ruined the most if they run into spoilers?
  22. Do you feel you are a below-average gamer? How does that affect you?
  23. What games feature the smallest open worlds?
  24. Do you feel that games have been watered down too much in terms of strategic play to appeal to a broad audience?
  25. I absolutely agree. Have faith in some sort of deity if you want, and interpret it how you want. But as soon as you start going for labels, is when shit hits the fan. The Abrahamic religions typically don’t like each other. Then you have other religions like Buddhism and Hindu, plus the left hand path like those of us who are Satanic. Labels cause problems. Pure and simple.
  26. Not to mention all the weight that would be gained from a life of eating nothing but sweets all your life.
