I'd say for me that has to be Return to Castle Wolfestein. i was not aware of occult background of nazi. And the game kind of made me read about it. And overall impression of the game was fun for me. I learned a lot about survival games and different categories of it ever since.1 point -

Wow. I never would have expected a nomination. I didn't think I was that much of a contributor. Thank you though! I'm honored.1 point -

What gets you emotionally invested in a game?
StaceyPowers reacted to kingpotato for a topic
The story has to be great in order for me to get emotionally invested in a game. Last game like that was God of War PS4, at moments I was almost shouting at Kratos to hug his kid.1 point -

A game that was a game-changer for me when I was a kid was Myst. First of all, it was ridiculously atmospheric and creepy, and the environments really drew me in. But I also loved the story, and it was what got me interested in cosmology and metaphysics and the concept of a multiverse. Iโd say it was among my first all-out obsessions growing up. It was all I thought and talked about for like a year.1 point -

Imaginative but in a bad way the fetus boss battle in South Park the Stick of truth.1 point -
Any interest in Google Stadia?

In general, no. I grudgingly use some TV streaming services, but I would rather just buy the shows I like. Many streaming shows aren't purchasable at all, and it's easy to imagine gaming going the same direction. I like to own things.1 point -
