What opinion about video games do you have that no one can change?
Family sedan and one other reacted to killamch89 for a topic
Same here - I saw that some media outlets called it "innovative". I was confused because nothing about this game screens innovative in any way shape or form. Mobile gaming for the most part is an absolute cesspool. I mean it had a great start in the 2011-2014 period where there were great games with pretty good storytelling and action. But since then, it's just fallen sharply off a cliff and will never recover.2 points -

It boggles my mind how well received it was with gaming press. Ah, well. Ce la vie, I guess. Different strokes for different folks!2 points -
What is the single most innovative game you ever played?
Heatman reacted to killamch89 for a topic
Primal for the PS2 is another game that I'd say had some very innovative mechanics. Its story was very good and the gameplay very polished but sadly, it got overshadowed by the original Devil May Cry.1 point -

I don't think I'll ever be sold on mobile gaming. As far as I can tell it's all greedy, microtransaction fueled trash designed by people who simply couldn't care less about storytelling, artistic expression or fun gameplay.1 point -
If you could have any video game pet IRL, what would it be?

Yeah, I heard about that but all you have to do is get an extremely intelligent German Shepherd. German Shepherds can be trained to do all kinds of things.1 point -

Honestly, I thought it had some good gameplay concepts but I have to agree that the game is boring and overrated. I've beaten once and have never felt the remote urge to ever play it again.1 point -
What game have you completely mastered?
Family sedan reacted to killamch89 for a topic
I could easily beat Skyrim if I was completely blind because of how many times I've beaten the game and I know most of the game like the back of my hand. As a matter of fact, I could beat Skyrim while trying to defuse a bomb that'd kill us all(spoiler alert, we'd definitely not survive the explosion but still...).1 point -
What did your parents scold you for?
Lämmchen reacted to killamch89 for a topic
Yeah - you did tell us about how your parents treated when you were young. Nope - if anything it was the reverse. I framed him for some of the things I did - I was such a bastard as a kid. I've changed a lot since going through puberty and I also grew a lot wiser so I just stayed away from some things and outgrew some habits.1 point -

Light bars: love them or hate them?
Family sedan reacted to Lämmchen for a topic
This is what I would suggest, black electrical tape! It's what I use on my laptop to cover the camera because it's easily removable when I need it and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It think if you're sleeping in the same room as a controller with a light bar that's on then that's annoying but I don't mind it for actual game play.1 point -

Dogmeat from Fallout would be cool. (Though she sadly died IRL -- RIP Dogmeat)1 point -
Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10
killamch89 reacted to Shagger for a topic
For a pre-built PC or laptop, I don't think it would be unreasonable for the customer to expect the manufacture (in this case Alienware/Dell) to have taken care of all that. People shouldn't overclock or alter the hardware unless they know what they're doing, but by just using a pre-built PC for the purpose it was designed for to then have it suffer from cooling issues, that blame falls on the manufacturer, not the person using it.1 point
