    Free Games

Epic Games release freebies once in a while. It's the companies way of trying to entice customers to purchase other games, but if you are savvy you can only get the freebies that Epic are offering. They offered the PC version of GTA a few years back, that was a steal. Shame my computer couldn't smoothly handle the graphics.

    Driving games?

Remember a few times in GTA I got the "Dunce Hat" and got locked inside the Dunce Hat Group, where you get placed if you explode too many registered cars. That group is crazy with normal people to hackers constantly blowing you up. One man/ girl for him or herself. I think there was 365 days left, as it wasn't my first offence lol. Would be interesting to login to my gaming account now and check this.

  3. This is something I have worried about seeing happen now that AI is getting more clever. Game developers will almost definitely lose their jobs because it will be cheaper to use AI to write code over hiring someone to do it. I would like to say it is a long time coming before we do see that but seeing how fast AI progresses, it may be less time than we think.

    Driving games?

Two driving games I've played are Forza, and Grand Theft Auto Five. While GTA amongst it's various releases, focuses on Grand Theft Auto and committing crimes, it does have an element of driving within. However, Forza is more focused on the competitive racing and "speed".

  5. Problem with AI is that video game developers will no longer have jobs. That means, all of the students who took out loans for college and university to study video game development have wasted 10,000's of dollars, when AI can write the code for you now. I think this would also bring the price of video games in the industry down as after the first release it's like the domino effect.

  6. Never played Rocket League. I've watched a few friends play it, seems an interesting concept with breathtaking graphics but seems like one of those titles where you need to have a lot of practice and good reaction time. Might revisit in the future.

    Call of Duty Mobile

I have played Call of Duty on mobile before, but I find it eats a lot of battery. Makes the battery and phone overheat, and when a iPhone overheats, it will lock you out and tell you to allow your device to cool down. Apart from that, it's a good video game to play on the right device. Make sure you carry a powerbank!

    Last Game Played

Same as Shortie, last video game I played was Fortnite. I will have to add your Epic Games Account to my friends list sometime @Shortie. I think my level is drastically lower than yours, at around 80. Hoping to get to 100, let alone level 200! Keep up the good work and competitive gameplay.

  9. Yeah no doubt it's an accident waiting to happen. Even the the Oculus has a boundary you draw yourself. You use the control to draw a circle of your boundary area and if you cross it, it shows on your screen a bright colored wall. As long as that part of the room is clear it should be ok, but I don't know. If zombies were going in through multiple doors, I can see it getting out of control. Just don't play drunk...LOL

    Did you ever play Frogger?

Not in an arcade, but I did play browser-based versions. Was quite good fun, but I was never much good at it!

  11. I know I'm not exactly neutral on this topic nor do I claim to be an expert, so don't take my word for it. That's why I would encourage @Empire Of Sight to get involved again in this discussion as he recently launched an NFT based game himself and could offer the "other" perspective. I did post a metaphor in another thread ages ago about the basics of what an NFT is, and here it is... Check out the other responses in that thread as well as other did go into some more detail. The longer version is, an NFT is a Non-Fungible Token. It's a kind of receipt for a digital asset, usually a piece of artwork, tied to a market revolving around a kind of cryptocurrency encoded into a blockchain. A blockchain is essentially a market management system that facilitates trading on this system. If you imagine cryptocurrency being to stocks what the stock market is to a blockchain, and that's the basic idea. Unlike the stock market though, profits can be made simply through interaction, like through a video game. The more people interface with it, the values of a blockchain and cryptocurrency increase as that value is determined by the size of the digital space that blockchain influences, and thus the assets held within it. Again, kind of like the stock market whare shares can go up of down based upon the economic conditions, the value of a blockchain and cryptocurrency can change based of the state of the digital landscape. The short version is, it's an unstable investment at best and a scam at worst. It's people who run those blockchains and own the cryptocurrency who are the only ones likely to make any money because the have thier own digital assets grow the more people feed into thier blockchain, it's basically a pyramid scheme for the 21st century.

  12. I know it's a classic, but it's not something I've ever really enjoyed that much. Combat, Space Invaders, Missile Command and even Basketball fill more of my fond Atari memories.
