  2. With the exception of RDR2, you won’t see me gaming on anything other than a NES, SNES, N64. With the occasional Sega, Atari 2600, PS1/PS3 games. I buy NES cartridges because they’re games I want to play. I always make sure they’re authentic as opposed to a repro. The only game that I would knowingly buy a repro is Little Samson. The actual authentic copies of Little Samson are too valuable to open up and play. So I would give that one a pass. I have some extremely rare NES games, but there’s no demand for them, so their rarity has no effect on their value. Some of these games are so rare and obscure, that the vast majority of people don’t even know they exist. For example, who here is familiar with Taboo The Sixth Sense? I have that one. There’s a Sega game I have that I’m willing to bet that no one here has heard of. Awesome Possum Kicks Dr Machino’s Butt. That is literally the name of the game. On PS1 there’s a game called Darkstone. Has anyone heard of theose games? If more than 3 people can honestly say yes I’ll die of shock.

  4. I've not really had enough time to play Stumble Gusy, but it seems that it is going to be a very good game that anyone looking to have fun should play in their spare time.

Already did. But I'm not sure what I'd be looking forward to outside of maybe the Nintendo Switch 2 games and things like GTA 6 and a few others that I can't quite remember at the moment.

  6. These are some great new releases for the PSVR 2! I always love to see a huge influx of new games that look interesting and make you eager to want to play them. My youngest son and eldest son love VR so these games will be something they will be interested in.

  7. Right now, Barcelona is looking like the favorite team to win this season's UEFA Champions League. Also, they are still on course to win a 4 trophies this season. They are to battle it out against Inter Milan in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League tournament. Will Barcelona make it through or will Inter Milan stop them?

  8. Onimusha 1+2 is a combo package that includes remastered versions of Onimusha: Warlords and Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny. The first gam has already released, but Onimusha 2's remaster will release May 23rd. It will be out for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Surprising there is no mention of new gen ports, but I assume the game will just work on those consoles no problem. Has anyone here played the first remaster? Who here is getting Samurai's Destiny?

  9. Microsoft Flight Simulator's commitment to realism often felt like it came at the expense of enjoyable gameplay for me. The deliberately slow animations and chapter-long tutorial created this constant tension between wanting to immerse in its incredible world and feeling frustrated by how it prioritized authenticity over convenience. I recognize its extraordinary craftsmanship but find myself admiring it more than actually wanting to play it.

  10. I have to concur with @killamch89 on AOE2. It's the best one in the entire series. But another one for me is Diablo II. Again, best one in the franchise.

  11. While traveling through Southeast Asia, I stayed at a $5/night hostel in Vietnam that surprisingly became my best experience - the owner cooked family dinners for guests every night and organized free walking tours. My worst was a supposedly 4-star chain hotel in Chicago where the room smelled like cigarettes despite being non-smoking, and management refused to move me.

  12. The best hotel has been a Hilton so far. I was staying with family and it was newly converted hotel from a long term stay and sheesh...it was plush with multiple bedrooms, giant pillows, a fireplace with a suspended chimney, a giant bathroom with walk-in shower and a hot tub. I've definitely day dreamed about driving 9 hours to that place to refresh my memory so I can try to mimic that on a floor of my next house, whenever that happens. In my cross country trip I stayed at a few pretty nice places, mostly out west it was either the quaint town and the western accents on the design of the hotel and/or the view. On the terrible end it was definitely a Jersey shore Motel when I was a kid. Fire escape style stairs, on the facade of the building, Water stains on the ceiling, musty, the inescapable stench of cigarette smoke everywhere. of course there had to be one beer belly guy with a speedo. It was horrible. I still enjoyed the beach, the boardwalk, restaurants, arcades etc. I just tried to stay away from the hotel except to sleep as much as possible.

  14. Not at all. I just wanted to see what hobbies are the most therapeutic to everyone.

  15. I've noticed a concerning trend where PC ports are treated as afterthoughts rather than dedicated products. Games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and The Last of Us Part I launched with inexcusable optimization issues despite their massive budgets. It feels like publishers are relying on post-launch patches rather than proper QA testing.

  16. You just said the exact same thing that @killamch89 said. You used the same words and almost quoted him directly. Please think your posts more thoroughly in the future. Now, to respond to the post, a lot of us classic gamers will be disgusted by remasters of our old and beloved games. Nostalgia is a very big thing for us, but sometimes a remaster is the only way kids today can experience the games we grew up playing. But going for AAA style graphics to play SMB1 is a step too far. Just look at Super Mario All Stars. They updated the graphics, and classic gamers hated it, myself included. It just wasn’t the same game. Link’s Awakening is a perfect example. Sure it’s the same game (more or less) but at the same time it’s not.

  17. My preference shifts dramatically with context and purpose - energetic tracks for physical activities and social gatherings, contemplative pieces for deep work and reflection. I've actually created distinct playlists mapped to specific energy states I want to either maintain or transform, using music intentionally rather than defaulting to a single preference.

  18. A full racing cockpit with motion simulation would transform the experience completely. Feeling your seat tilt as you take corners or vibrate over rough terrain adds immersion that no controller can match, especially for simulation titles like Forza Motorsport.

How useless is Sancho? Chelsea is closely considering paying a fine of £5M to have him returned to Manchester United. What a shame!!

  20. I believe "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" deserves a sequel. Its stunning visuals, emotional storytelling, and engaging gameplay create a truly memorable experience. Expanding its beautifully crafted world could lead to even more captivating adventures and deeper character development.

  21. I believe that utilizing VR to simulate real-time weather phenomena holds enormous educational promise. Imagine students virtually exploring hurricanes, thunderstorms, and climate dynamics firsthand - an immersive experience that bridges theoretical learning with practical understanding and sparks genuine curiosity about meteorological science.

  22. I really enjoy "Forza Horizon 5" on Xbox. It strikes a perfect balance between challenge and fun, offering a great mix of racing excitement without being too frustrating. It’s always a blast to play!
