  1. Ooh I'd pick Dragon Age 2, which should surprise NOBODY as I'm the queen of liking games everyone thinks is trash. Though in this world I want a remastered version of this game so I can take my PS4 instead of my PS3. As for why, well, I've always loved the personal nature of Dragon Age 2's story and I like the characters and Hawke a lot too.
  2. As the resident Bandai Namco fan that rolls around everywhere in the VGR slack, I'm absolutely desperate to see what they've got in store for us all. I'd have loved to go in person, but alas I've got zero funds for it. Anyway, I'm always excited to see what they have for Jump Force, but also want to know more about Death Stranding and maybe the new SEGA game Judge Eyes? What about yourself? 🙂
  3. You know, I've no idea what my game of 2018 will be because I've actually played very little! Most of my time seems to be on Overwatch. Then again, I've played a few Switch titles that I ended up really enjoying. GOTY-worthy though? I might need to get back in touch with you about that one.
  4. I was gonna say Switch but then I was like d'oh! I had a Gameboy Color, and I loved it!
  5. That's the big question, isn't it? I always expected there to be a Nintendo Online service, but I'm not sure the good outweighs the bad. The fact that Nintendo will literally delete your cloud saves if you don't continue to subscribe seems really iffy to me. But then again, I'm not a fan of anything to do with the cloud as I prefer having things physically. But what do you guys think?
  6. There's something about Breath of the Wild that doesn't quite click with me either. Don't get me wrong I very much like the game and am enjoying it when I play, but there's something missing. I think it's because despite the game being so big, I feel really lonely in it. I can run into other people if I really try, but I think I was just expecting more from how loud everyone was about it.
  7. I've not even finished God of War or Spider-Man. I'm a sham!
  8. I've got really mixed feelings about it. Ni No Kuni 2 can be really fun but it's so predictable, and it makes the story seem kinda flat. There's a lot of collecting to do too (which I expected) and the game was far too easy before. Thankfully they've changed it so that there are more difficulty levels. That said, if you've got money to spare then I would give it a go because the game IS cute.
  9. I'll jump on the Mass Effect Andromeda bandwagon. That game doesn't deserve HALF the hate it gets. Actually think it's better than ME1 by a long shot.
  10. I'm learning Japanese! It's an exciting language and can be really rewarding if you put your heart and soul into it. Skateboarding sounds fun! I've only been on a skateboard once and broke my arm so I think that may have put me off for life.
  11. The better question for me is what JRPG I'm NOT playing right now 🤣 I do love my JRPGs. At the moment I'm still making my way through Ni No Kuni 2 and Atelier Lydie and Suelle because I've left them behind for a few months and I really want to finish them. But after that I'm starting Tales of the Abyss once again to prepare for Tales of Vesperia's eventual release!
  12. Gaming can be extremely tiring after a while, which is why I think it's really important to get another hobby. As I write a LOT about video games for a lot of sites, it can be really tiring at times to be like 'well guess I'll play some MORE video games' after writing about them for so long. Thankfully I'm using my spare time exercising/learning another language.
  13. Blimey. To think that some people have over 1k games in their Steam library that they haven't played makes me shudder!
  14. C'mon let's not be shy about this. I've been seemingly hoarding games for quite a long time now and so I've got over 50 games to finish.. Yep. 50 games. Not sure when I'm ever going to finish them but I know for a fact that I really should. What about you guys?
  15. I want a Black Sails RPG experience. Let me be a pirate in peace, damn it!
  16. Gaming studio is hard, but I'd love to own BioWare. I think BioWare's company would be super fun to own as I love a good RPG, so their like God in those circumstances. If not them then I'd like to hang around with Bandai Namco. Even though they are a publisher, I think it'd be neat to sit in on all the cool stuff they're doing.
  17. I believe because Gaider doesn't work there anymore he brands it as fanfiction as it ultimately may not be where BioWare plans to take Dorian's character. Personally I think I'd be really chuffed that Gaider's given out more Dorian material to work with (for free too!) but I don't really know how BioWare works hehe 🙂
  18. I try not to get too gung-ho when it comes to games. Sometimes for a game I really, really want then I usually pre-order but ever since Dragon Age Inquisition let me down, I'm more cautious when it comes to pre-ordering.
  19. Not if I have anything to say about it. 😂 Don't get me wrong, I love playing with my friends but I'd rather sit back and enjoy a 10 hour story just for myself and then get to talk about it with my friends later on.
  20. For me I think it's gotta be The Witcher 3. All the towns and cities you visit have their own culture and way of speaking and I love that about it. It's a vibrant world and so very fascinating. I could get lost overhearing people talk to each other for hours.
  21. I try not to get mad at games because I don't actually want to upset myself and ruin my day. That said, I have rage-quit before and gotten mad to the point I had an angry nap. Usually those times were when I was playing Overwatch, but sometimes I take on reviews for puzzle games that nobody wants and I get so damn mad because I feel like the answer is RIGHT THERE and I'm just not getting it.
  22. It's an incredibly popular game but I'm not sure why? Not because I don't believe it isn't good, but I'm rather ignorant about it. What makes it so replayable? Is it the community?
  23. That's awesome to hear! Glad you're all having fun here.
  24. People who go on the mic just to berate others. There's nothing wrong with helping people out, but don't swear at them and be publically mean. That just starts off a whole toxic cycle and it really ruins the game and atmosphere.
