  1. Yes, they require everyone to be on a level playing field. Normally means same computers, all set at same exact settings, keybinds the same as everyone, or controllers, same keyboards/mice, and even heatsets. Otherwise someone could claim that they have a unfair advantage due to the small ms input different between hardware.
  2. I don't think they would have funds to make their own eSport setup though, or make it popular enough without spending a ton of money for little return in my eyes.
  3. Ah man, hopefully they don't reuse the same game engine as Fallout 4/Skyrim on this one to save money/development time lmao
  4. Makes you wonder if Minecraft can get texture packs that make it look almost nothing like Minecraft, what other games like this could get graphic overhauls for free or for a flat fee.
  5. I think you have to opt-in for this, I don't recall seeing anything until like a few months ago when I started to earn points. But it def is legit, already got myself $20 PSN giftcard lmao so I can't complain at all.
  6. Playstation Classic sucks on it's own, but look online for the way to load up a ton more PS games and then it makes it worth it in my opinion for something that is like $30-50 online new.
  7. Thankfully some of the games are solid. Make sure to sign up for Sony Rewards since every single purchase you makes gets you points, that you then can use to buy and get games/items for 100% free.
  8. I think just the one that came from a PS Plus event, kinda don't see the point in most since it changes a lot but makes it "meh" on some screens or on the startup screen when it goes from default to the one you have set.
  9. Go with the model with CDs, it is by far easier for the CD to hold some game information rather than it is for everything to take up way more space than it needs to on the limited space on the storage device that it has (as of now).
  10. Hell no, I'm waiting for them to get desperate and start selling as-is on prices, and even though I wouldn't take it since there would be a no return policy or way to validate the warranty if something broke and it had to get shipped back to Sony.
  11. Of course, it always will be smaller. PS2, we got a Slim, PS3 had like 3-4 revisions that made it cheaper and with a bigger hard drive everytime. I wouldn't be shocked if in a few years we see a PS5 Pro lol
  12. GameCube is retro right? Otherwise I have the PS classic retro that they brought back, with of course more of the games via the nice little hack you can do to it.
  13. It makes you wonder for some of these if the price was just due to the research and development, or if they seriously thought that people could afford it and there would be a ton of game publishers that would see that and develop "must play" games on them.

    Television

A Samsung 4K Ultra HD TV, it's only 60" though (got it for like $225 on Black Friday like 2 years ago). Next upgrade might be a 80-90" TV once I have enough to just splurge on a PS5 or create a gaming PC that can fit and map well with controllers to use as a media center.
  15. Would need something that has good cooling, ad a good CPU/GPU. Problem is that most tablets don't, and when you get to ones that do, you end up with like a Surface (which is just a PC at that point trying to be a handheld laptop).
  16. I remember seeing them when I was in school, but I don't think so. When I talked to someone who owned them, it mostly was for GPS, taking photos, and tracking specific things or getting alerts from your phone to your glasses. I think that having glasses that also play games might be an issue since people would try to wear them when driving, or doing other things that they shouldn't.
  17. I believe so, I know that Sony said that the PS VR was compatible with the PS5 so that has to mean that the camera is too since it's required to trace it.
  18. Modern Warfare is pretty good, even the remaster of Modern Warfare 4 is solid.
  19. For my old PC games, I just had a huge booklet made for like CDs for music and would place them all in there. Then I would just zip it up and leave it somewhere that couldn't or wouldn't get wet, etc.
  20. Assassin Creed 2-3 actually had some aspects of true history in them, which was cool to see happen and then play through it and look it up and learn later. Same for Secret Weapons Over Normandy which was a really good game that was pretty close to what happened through time and the war. I can't think of one that specifically was fully accurate though.
  21. Graphics, the speed of games loading up, and probably just the interface slightly. Otherwise I don't see anything HUGE (waiting on new VR sets to release).
  22. GTA IV, loosing a friend vs. loosing someone who you can just call up and get your wanted level removed.
  23. For PS5; finding a damn way to upgrade the internal drive with common parts, PS Home (throwback to PS3 days)
  24. I'd give up movies, with games you can have a better movie yourself (or some will actually have cutscenes like a movie, ex; Final Fantasy games) so it ends to be better. The downside - you can't just watch it do it's thing while your dozing off since nothing would change.
  25. I'd easily say until the end of 2021. By then it will be to the point where you can just walk into Walmart, and see 2-4 consoles in the plastic rack and grab one to buy it.
