  1. I cannot do that at all haha. I'm the type of person who has to play the game immediately after buying. Personally I don't worry to much about saving a few bucks. I'd rather buy a game full price if I have an intense urge to play it. If the urge is not there I likely will not purchase the game.
  2. I knew mobile games were popular but I did not know that free-to-play mobile games can generate over 70 million dollars in a year! I wish I had become a mobile game designer back when they were starting to become popular haha.
  3. I prefer happy endings in comparison to sad endings but as long as the ending is not forced or too random then I am usually okay with it. As long as there is some sort of conclusion and not a cliffhanger haha.
  4. I can never see myself having the feeling of "winning" an MMO. In my head I think of MMOs as games that go on forever and you basically play until you get bored rather than win. Even after the initial story or gameplay I feel as if I have so much more exploring to do.
  5. Anyone got any thoughts about Pokemon lasting forever? As a kid I was always excited when new Pokemon were released but as I got older there just became too many generations to keep track of as more and more kept coming out.
  6. Yes, this was what I was going to mention! I played a lot of sports as a kid and it was so expensive to purchase all the equipment and join leagues. With sports there is also a physical barrier/limit but with gaming, there is no defined limit when it comes to increasing your skills! Not saying that gaming is necessarily better than sports but just that the cost of gaming is not that bad in my opinion.
  7. I love the one about building your own real-life house in the game! I've tried this and it is actually pretty hard to get a perfectly accurate replication. It really does make you think though and it allows your creative side to come out.
  8. Back in the day I had a Nintendo DS emulator but its save function did not work for some reason haha. I remember I would be so sad every time I logged off and the game did not save.
  9. You have FFX but have not played!? You totally should 😝. I love that game so much haha, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
  10. For me it is when you get some sort of big accomplishment, for example like a "pentakill" in League of Legends. It's exciting because everyone congratulates you. Even the enemy team will usually say something nice to you about it haha.
  11. I've really only played Sonic on the Gameboy Advanced SP but wow does this post bring back memories! It was definitely a highlight of my childhood haha. Wish I had the opportunity to try Sonic for the Wii. Seems like a fun game.
  12. I really like both. PVP games like World of Warcraft or Rocket League are very fun for me but I also enjoy playing PVE games such as Final Fantasy or Pokemon. I do find PVE games have much more of a relaxing vibe though.
  13. I like puzzles that are challenging but not unsolvable. For example, I have played games where you must know something very specific in order to solve the puzzle and that just makes it impossible without some sort of guide or prior knowledge. Often times I find mobile puzzle games fun because sometimes the levels are hard but with some luck and persistence you are usually able to complete the level.
  14. Personally I am a huge fan of good music! I used to grind levels in Maplestory and the music was just so good that I could relax and grind for hours. Good visuals also play a huge part for me too.
  15. Final Fantasy X is like one of my favourite games ever and I am thinking of busting out the PS2 to replay it but I am wondering if you have any favourite versions that you loved. Maybe I'll choose one of your favourites to play instead of FFX if you can convince me 😁.
  16. The feeling of being a second-class citizen is so true! But hey sometimes it is nice to know if a game is bad or good before you commit the time and money into it right?
  17. I used to be a huge Maplestory fan as a kid. However, I went back to it after a few years of not playing and the game completely changed. Unfortunately I went back and it was just not as fun as it used to be. No hate on Maplestory though! I still have many friends who play and love it.
  18. I'm going to be honest and say I know absolutely no one with an LG phone haha. Some of their new phones do look sleek though and the pricing is really good on them. Kind of sucks that they are ending 😭
  19. When real life gets stressful I love to kick back and game. It's just such a great way to relax and forget about your issues for a little while. After a great gaming session, it's like you are refreshed and ready to tackle your real-life problems again. Sometimes all you need is a little break to do something you really enjoy. Also, I've found that games can be a great way to connect with your loved ones. Especially during this pandemic. It is very easy to start up a Pictionary-style game virtually and play with your friends and family online.
  20. I feel like I am not a very evil person haha so I usually lean more towards the good side or just go with my gut decisions. However, in some games the "evil team" just looks so cool if you know what I mean. Like when the evil crew has red/black evil devil armour... it can look so awesome!
  21. Metal Slug! Hearing the name of that game brings back memories 🤩. But yeah now that I think about it, I had no idea what the plot was haha. Still, it was such a fun run and gun game.
  22. I started out playing everything. I remember having Playstations, Nintendo consoles, and a couple computers. Although I love playing on multiple platforms, as I got older I found I had less time and money to keep everything, Nowadays I mostly play PC games but I am always down to play console games when I get the chance.
  23. Since there are so many games out there, I am sure there are way too many leagues/teams to count! I follow League of Legends and worldwide there are over 100 top competitive teams. There are probably additional 100s of academy and amateur teams out there as well. I love how there are just so many career options when it comes to the world of esports.
  24. OH NO, I really hope there is not too bad a shortage because it is getting close to the time where I was going to buy a Switch haha. Maybe I should just go for the purchase now while I still can? 😅
  25. Does anyone here play Riot's Teamfight Tactics? As of today, April 28. 2021, set 5 is now live! I'm hoping to hear what you all think about the new champions and items in the game. Personally I am loving how they managed to make it possible to create so many different team comps. I know it is going to take me a while to get used to all the new features. Keep me updated with how you are liking the game as you continue playing!
