Karate Kid - 8/10

I remember playing a super violent game called Manhunt as a teen. It was made by a little dev called Rockstar - you may’ve heard of ‘em, lol. It felt a bit too gratuitous for my tastes but I think I still beat the game with some friends. Elsewhere, I remember playing the usual games other folks have mentioned - MK, Duke Nukem 3D, Doom. I also recall playing a game called Blood, which was pretty violent, and I remember friends talking about a hyper violent game called Thrill Kill. Never played it, I don’t think. But it was supposed to be one of those legendary, uber violent games that seemingly never got a proper release.

Yeah, it’s terrific stuff! It’s on Netflix so I see its popularity exploding given some time. Also, there’s a chance Elizabeth Shue may turn up in future series. The ending of season 2 definitely alludes to her making an appearance!

Underwater - 6.5/10

Yeah, the action is really well choreographed. Honestly, I’m blown away by how great it is. Seriously, it’s the best thing I’ve seen in ages!

1917 - 8/10

I've played Skyrim on PS3, PS4, PC, Switch and Xbox 360. Of the consoles, it runs best on PS4, Xbox 360 and Switch. Long story short, Skyrim runs pretty damn well on the Switch (which is the version you own, I believe). Plus, playing Skyrim in handheld mode is truly impressive, though the battery doesn't last too long, unfortunately. Either PS2 or PS3. So many great memories with different groups of friends, especially in Uni playing tons of splitscreen.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning on PS4

Like others have mentioned, Fallout 4 is a bit of a mixed bag. Shooting mechanics are tighter (I don’t really like how VATS just slows down time rather than stopping it completely, though) and there’s a lot to do and explore. The downside is the writing isn’t quite as memorable as its predecessors. It’s still a lot of fun, though, and I’d still recommend it to fans of the series. And, yeah, like m76 mentioned, I found the building mechanics a wee bit too tedious for my tastes, but it could hook you in depending on how much you get into it. Thankfully, the building isn’t totally mandatory, for the most part.

Finished the first two seasons of Cobra Kai and absolutely loved it! It’s basically a continuation of the Karate Kid classic movies from the 80s. Nostalgia done right imho. Anyone else checked it out yet? It’s on Netflix now.

Was thinking lately that a boat would be a pretty good option. Stock up on food, fishing supplies and video games, and you got yourself a mini holiday!

I’d love to see some classic Bethesda RPGs get new updates. Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout: NV or Fallout 4 would really benefit with a modern update adding new quests, locations, monsters, weapons, spells and even some simple quality of life improvements (quicker load times, for example). I know, mods can do this, but it would be nice to see something official.
