I absolutely love my PS Vita! Such an underappreciated console. If I had to have one to take on a desert island, I’d probably choose the Vita as I’ve got so many games on it!

I was so excited when my kid brought home the mudcrab as his random pet.

I love HP Lovecraft’s writing. Only played one game that is directly based on Lovecraft. Here’s my review of it: Call Of Cthulhu (2018) https://wegotthiscovered.com/gaming/call-of-cthulhu-review/
I know a lot of other games are influenced by Lovecraft, like Darkest Dungeon (which is amazing), though.

I usually like it a little warm. Sometimes curl up in my duvet on the couch while gaming. Though I’m based in the UK and it’s always cold and windy here for the most part.

Good journalistic investigation Dylan! I'm glad you caught the lie before I did.

I've got a PSP Go lying around somewhere but I haven't used it for a while. Used to love it back in the day. I also had a PSP 3000 before I had a PSP Go though I traded that in for some cash when I was broke. The PSP was a great machine with some excellent games. I tend to use my Vita/Switch for handheld gaming these days.

Postal 2 is a good one. Next to impossible to find, but if you can it's worth the money.
I don't know if it counts, but Hexen is another one. If you're not familiar with it, think Doom turned medieval. On the N64, it's a blast.

There is also home sweet home, which you may enjoy. The game seems to be pretty much same as silent hil where you have to survive through a lot of things. And it gets scary as time goes on. So on level by level basis I think home sweet home is a good game.

Two classics I recommend everyone should read are Pride & Prejudice and War And Peace. I haven't been able to find an unabridged copy in any of the book stores around here, and so far the ones I've found online have been a bit out of my price range. It's been so long since I've read either one, that I honestly don't remember much of either story. One writer I do recommend Ayn Rand. Her writings may controversial to some, but a lot of it is intellectually thought provoking.

I can't say I'm familiar with Vonnegut. Actually I've never heard the name. Steinbeck on the other hand wrote some beautiful stories. I think Of Mice And Men was probably his best. The Grapes Of Wrath was also an excellent story. He's up towards the top of the list or writers I would recommend. He's there alongside Hemingway, King, and Faulkner.

In my personal opinion, Poe is the greatest writer in American history, and also one of the best in the world. His insight into the human mind was something that hasn't been equaled before or since. Especially insanity and misery. He wrote from the darkest depths of his own soul, and created some of the greatest works ever. One of my most prized possessions is a book with all of his works. I have the same with all of Shakespeare's works. If you like sonnets, check out Shakespeare's sonnet 141. It's a great one.

An open world survival horror game akin to Deadly Premonition/Silent Hill would be something I’d be interested in writing/developing as I love the genre.

Right now I'm reading Othello. It's a great story. The last one of Shakespeare's plays I read was MacBeth. I loved it. I'm also reading a lot of Poe. The Raven aside, The Bells is one of his best poems. And The Cask Of Amontillado is his absolute best story. The Fall Of The House Of Usher is another great.
I also read The Illiad recently. It was a great read too.

Have you played Until dawn? You should if not. It seems to be one of the good games out there in the market. And also the story has multiple endings based on your choices. Something like say cinematic movies come out.

I thought the Life Is Strange series (both the OG series and the Before The Storm prequels), Telltale’s The Walking Dead and Heavy Rain all had some difficult choices thrown in there that made me think. The morally grey areas definitely make an emotional impact on me and that generally helps make it a more memorable experience.

Aye, they're supposed to be unbelievable live. Definitely would've loved to see 'em, too. (My brother's seen 'em live in London - lucky bugger.)

Pamali seems to be a good game on the scare factor. You are forced to survive on many notes. And also there is Resident Evil 2 remake which can be a good in terms of graphics and new changes. Though still I think most of the indonesian and chinese horror games seems to be topping here. They have made it fun to play with the scary story.

Yep, it’s pretty damn scary - particularly in VR. I enjoyed it a lot, though. Very well made and memorable.
