Sony clearly rushed out the PS Classic, i think they had dollar signs in their eyes after seeing the success of Nintendo's NES and SNES Classic consoles and wanted a quick cash in. It's a shame too, a proper PS Classic could have been really good.

The AtGames ones were pretty bad, this one has potential though as its being made by Sega themselves, i look forward to seeing the rest of the included games, as for the emulation, I'm not too worried, i hear M2 is handling the emulation, and they are the ones who made the Sega ages and other classic ports for various platforms, so i think that part shouldn't be an issue, but we shall see.

Wow... That's the most riveting and tearjerking backstory.

The problems with Anthem started from the Debut E3 trailer in 2017 - The trailer that EA claimed it was "live gameplay"  was entirely made up. EA tasked their Bioware developers with matching the trailer's gameplay - The problem with that is they tried to recreate everything on the crapbite engine instead of the Unreal Engine (which the developers had actual expertise in using) which is when the Bioware devs discovered the difficulty of the project. Instead of restarting everything from scratch and rebuilding with the Unreal Engine and delaying Anthem, the EA execs decided to release the broken mess of a game and try to fix the issues with the game after release because money is the only thing that matters to them.
All EA has continued to do is pack lies on top of the other lies they already sold their consumers because none of the Bioware devs know how to use Frostbite so what could they possibly fix? Not a lot really and EA will continue to sell the gullible gamers amongst us the same lies because they're trying to extract every last dollar from them. Anthem will be around for the next 6 months - 1 year at least because they have started to hire new members to work on Anthem so it's not going die off as early as people think.

The one thing that irks me is why do people think that a single-player game with zero microtransactions or loot boxes is "revolutionary"? I've seen EA drop so many shit Star Wars games that I have a hard time believing this will be mind-blowingly different. Yes, I heard they are going to use the Unreal engine instead of their crapbite engine (EA doing something practical for once.yay!) which a good move but I need to see story-wise what they will come with and also if the combat is good.

Undertale. It definitely changed my perspective on what a game can be.
If you think Human Revolution is creepy in how accurately it reflects the world, try playing the original Deus Ex. Some of the stuff in that game still gives me chills.

Absolutely and Deus Ex straight up punishes you for playing it as a traditional FPS.

This is an excellent remaster. The fact they got the original TV series cast back to voice the characters says it all about how much effort went into it.

I can across a game called Outward and from the bits I've seen so far about it, It's a really innovative MMORPG. Now, I'll just say that the combat in-game isn't the greatest - it's a pass but nothing spectacular but other features such as unleveled enemies and armors and weapons not being restricted by levels makes it a very interesting experience.

Half-Life is like that one absentee father that said he was going to the store and decades later you're still waiting for him to come back.🤣

He is a pet to me since you actively feed him and take care of him. And horses can be pets too.
Also I've never played enough Skyrim to have a pet.

Division 2 I think looks good. I never played the first one so I don't really have much interest in it but I hear good things about it so it's probably good. Just not something I'd be interested in.
Anthem I love. Pretty much wrote a lengthy review about how much I love it so that should explain it.
Metro Exodus, again kinda like Division 2 I never played the earlier games and never got into them so it's not something I am hyped for. It does look gorgeous though and I dig the Half-Life 2 esque aesthetic.
Anthem is pretty much the only game that's come out recently I've had a chance to play to be honest.

Apex Legends as well, definitely.

It'll probably be up your alley then. Personally I love it.

Hey if you're into both oldschool and modern shooters and can handle some crude humor, I'd easily recommend it.
