  1. Any games that's about sports, just bad at gaming sports games ๐Ÿ˜› Then again games that you do not like the subjects about and also if you not intersted in cooking then why do a cooking game?
  2. I've always loved grinding. I love feeling overleveled. In crafting systems I just like seeing a fat stack of materials I made. I like watching numbers go up. In WoW that translated to playing the auction house. In Final Fantasy X that meant hours of random battles. I think I've spent 20 hours alone fishing in Stardew Valley. My point is that any game can be turned into a grind. And very few games require grinding. It seems like a lot of people in this conversation feel a pull between what the consumer will expect from a game, and what games require of the consumer.
  3. I am completely shocked you didn't bring up the Donkey Kong guy Billy Mitchell. He got busted cheating on every record he ever held. Even though his awards were taken from him he made duplicates and continues to claim that he holds the records.
  4. Cool, people be looking forward to this new update ๐Ÿ™‚ Be better if it was to be on for the PC users....
  5. I have played great games that the story was very good and yet after I have complanted it I Was like, DAMN< that's short. I have not gotten bored into a story other then playing BF3 that the story was crap but ended the game with a weired ended, that was 8 hours long. 5 hours of gameplay for the story was the shortest.
  6. 11 hours long so far in flight sim, I did a long hual flight that has taken me over an hour to takeoff and then 8 hours long flight.
  7. More of a dog person, and I think having a dog requires healthier habits (daily exercise and invites socialization). However never had a pet.
  8. Not the most original, but Mabinogi was a game I really enjoyed years ago before it really started declining. Despite having a tab-target combat system at its core, the combat wasn't simply rolling your fingers across the keyboard until something dies like some games (looking at you, basically every WoW clone). Even a basic attack interrupted whatever the enemy was doing and all these skills had different interactions or counters, which to me made it one of the few MMO's I've legitimately enjoyed PvP in.
  9. Jade Empire. I ran through it in a single day only to realize as I got to the final boss that I had missed something very important to being able to actually defeat the damn guy somewhere along the way. I spent two hours trying to kill him while he tried to kill me. I finally shut down my Xbox and cried for a while. I never did go back to that game.
  10. Wish I'd learned how to code gaming and do it all. I was taught more of the art side, barely even touched MEL or Python. Spent little on art direction and 3D modeling. Woop. As a game design student back many years ago that I failed ๐Ÿ˜› I expected much more in the way of being able to create a game, not just work in a sweatshop modeling hockey helmets all day.
  11. Alligator. They spend 80% of their time eating / sleeping and the remaining time looking for women. When I visited the everglades park in Florida I envied them so much.
  12. Just shows how video games need to be created from the bottom up, not top down. We see amazing indie titles come out all the time. Meanwhile, one of the biggest and most successful companies in the world can seem to get a handle on this because they are so focused on going by the numbers. I miss the old days when you could just earn everything by your own efforts instead of paying for all of it and every company's always out to get your wallet so sad.
  13. Im starting Mass effect for the first time on this new legendary edition. It's giving me the same feeling Dragon Age Origins gave me years and years ago. Dragon age is one of my all time favorites and to give me those same vibes it just tickles me. Ive wanted a game like this for so long. Why did I wait so long to try out this game.
  14. I do not minde the autosave on games as long as there is still an option on me to save myself when I leave the game ๐Ÿ˜‰ valheim does not have a manualsave option but with the console I can type in save then it saves the game ๐Ÿ™‚ it's not the way to save but I do that.
  15. Never thought about it however I have seen films and TV shows about it ๐Ÿ™‚ would I???? Nope rather see the sunlight and see when it's day and night.
  16. Yes, I had one from when I was very young (1/2/3) He is called Toby. I donโ€™t remember him well from when I was younger, but he has brown, spiked hair, and brown eyes. He has almost the exact personality of me, and not many people know about him. I talk to him most days, say goodnight to him at night, play games with him in my room, etc. He has the say birthday as me.
  17. If I wa sto pick, then PC ๐Ÿ™‚ Bigger screen, more control, you see and do more, able to record and stream. I'm saying this since I have a 165hz Geforce gaming IPS screen ๐Ÿ™‚ that's 2540x1440p that has all the bells in the world. And with a PC you can run the game higher.
  18. I have two mouses that I have, one is for gaming and the other is just as good and it's wireless and comes in use everyday. First, Razer Naga trinity: https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-trinity/RZ01-02410100-R3U1 costing be around ยฃ49.99 at the time, however they are now ยฃ79.95 Secound, Logitech MX Master 2S: https://www.logitech.com/en-za/product/mx-master-2s-business costing be around ยฃ69.95 Plus I do have another mouse that's an Razer Naga 2012 but I tired that years ago. still got it ๐Ÿ™‚
  19. 8gb is the small amount nowdays. 16GB is the minimum ๐Ÿ˜› Many years ago it was 4GB as a minimum and 8gb is far gaming. Not anymore. But we have DDR5 coming, already for servers that will offer faster speeds and also can be far as 200GB if not more. My first PC that I had only had 512MB of ram LOL I was jumping for joy when I had 1GB. Nowdays you do not even think off it. It's 16GB or higher. Most people that we talk about gaming goes with 32GB or 64GB
  20. Seems that most rage is from fortnite, crazy right LOL
  21. You used to be able to do this before DRM (Digital Rights Management) became a thing. Once copy protection appeared on game cdโ€™s/dvdโ€™s people developed workarounds to continue making illegitimate copies of games. Nowadays many games require updating online and/or you to be connected to a game server to play, in other cases games are so large now that it would take too many cdโ€™s and even dvdโ€™s to make burning to disc worthwhile. With the affordability of internet bandwidth now it is far easier to torrent a game, albeit risky as the cracked game may well have malware/virus software hidden away. And finally with markets like Steam around, it is much wiser to wait for your favourite game to go on special and buy it legally instead.
  22. If it has taken be hours or just so long to get passed that seriously difficult battle then maybe I just move onto the next one and then fail that I have nothing left. Even if you redo it again, how long will it take to redo it and fail just to save your supplies. Games like that I do not like doing.
  23. List some down that I think it's good for the title. so speak of. DAO - Alastair and Warden DA2 - Fenris and Marian Hawke (Mage) ๐Ÿ™‚ DAI - Male Lavellan and Cassandra :0 Magical Diary - OC and Professor Grabiner - slomance! ME Trilogy - Shep and Kaiden

    Pet Games

As a full real game, not really. I have play games that has animales in the game, TheHunter Call of the wild that has now got your own dog/pet to hunt with.
  25. Why shouldn't they? The only difference between say a LoL world final and the Superbowl is the game being played. Both have teams with fans, both employ some of the best players in their specific positions, both have sponsors, both have an audience, both have a very specific set of rules on how to win the game, and both can be played by people at home. The only people who can't see this are the ones who are somehow threatened by the game field being a digital space instead of a physical one.
