  1. So true - these days at least. I remember last decade everything being so much more even.
  2. Mario Party, Super Smash Brothers, Goldeneye and Mario Kart 64. I guess in my N64-centric world they'd be the jam.
  3. I'm a simple man. I'd be content with super stregnth. πŸ™‚
  4. Oh my God! With two get out of jail free cards, and two brains we could probably commit twice the amount of crimes. We'd be stupid not to team up!
  5. These posts seem to be referring to the cost - so I'm guessing you guys know more than I do. How much does it look like it'll go for? πŸ™‚ That said, I really hope they don't make these consoles internet reliant and wreck their concept.
  6. πŸ˜› We're just a couple of would-be fraudsters bound by the rule of law, I guess.
  7. Yes. I got really fatigued in about 2004, and didn't play until 2017 - bar a few times at friends houses. That whole period of my life, I couldn't pick up a game to play without being bored after like 10 minutes. So I didn't really game from age like 14 to 27. πŸ˜›
  8. When I was a kid I used to cheat all the time. On any game. The Sims, Sim City and yes, Age of Empires. These days though, never. It really sucks the fun out of doing anything - so why would I? What's the point of playing if I'm just going to muck around and achieve nothing?
  9. PS2, when it first came out. I wasn't heaps big on it for a fair while - but I got onto it eventually.
  10. Preach! Also, in the days of digital downloads (I think I've seen people pre-order those lol. You can even pre-order digitial movies...) why? Seriously why? In the old days the point of pre-order was the ensure the store doesn't run out of stock before you get it...Digital downloads don't run out of stock so easily from what I understand.
  11. Really? That is such a foreign idea to me. I'm in the suburbs and we see them now and then. They even pop up in the Melbourne city center from time to time. Where are you? Ireland or New Zealand or something? πŸ™‚
  12. LOL. Okay sir. You're legit on the basis of the law, which can change at any time. The question is posing a get out of jail free card though, rendering a law basically useless. So rather than being a strict rule follower you can break one law you've always though was stupid or that would fill some kind of desire.\ There's got to be something o-o. Surely. πŸ˜›
  13. Phone all the way. I find tablets are just too clunky and awkward. The small phone screen is way more manageable for me.
  14. Three Victorians bitten by snakes in four hours on Sunday THREE Victorians are recovering from snake bites after being bitten within four hours of each other on Sunday. A fourth person called paramedics after trying to move a dead snake and getting a scare when they were pricked by a blackberry bush. The three bites occurred during the afternoon at Nar Nar Goon, in the state’s southeast, Coimadai, in central Victoria and Nathalia, in northern Victoria. A woman in her 30s was the first to be bitten. She was transported to Casey Hospital shortly after midday. And one of the bites was within 20 minutes drive of my place.
  15. I play N64. I'm so far behind I'm probably actually ahead of all of you. πŸ˜‰
  16. I remember being in the back of my parents car in 1996, playing some Mario game on Gameboy (original) and really struggling with the underwater level. It wouldn't have been my first time. But it's my earliest memory of gaming.
  17. Okay, of any TV show what is one episode that got you right in the feels and as a result you can never forget. For me, believe it or not it's Futurama. There's this one episode, I can't remember what season called Luck Of The Fryrish. I won't give away too many spoilers, but let's just say the ending, with the statue and the Dog...Ugh. Amazing. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about here.
  18. I wish I could edit my old post to tack this on the end and stop double posting, as this is meant to be a megathread. So maybe @DC can deduct one of my posts for this! :) Anyway. There is more. A man on Ryanair yelled racist insults at a black woman. She was the one who had to change seats. David Lawrence had just settled into Seat 22F on a Ryanair flight Thursday when he heard a commotion brewing on the other side of the plane. A few rows behind him, a gray-haired man with dark-rimmed glasses was yelling at a black woman seated along the aisle. Read on, and watch the awful video: https://www.washingtonpost.com/transportation/2018/10/21/man-ryanair-yelled-racist-insults-black-woman-she-was-one-who-had-change-seats Awful stuff to watch. Even awfuller that she had to change seats and he wasn't kicked off of the flight in general.
  19. I don't know what I think they will do. But I know what I think they should do... How much of an outcry has there been for them to rerelease Diablo I, with or without (I'd say preferably with) Hellfire. I mean, if they aren't going to release it to somewhere like GOG then at least put it out into the universe somewhere.
  20. 1. The Curse of Monkey Island 2. The Sims 2 3. Diablo 4. Mario Kart 64 (The memories) 5. Age of Empires or SimCoaster
  21. It basically is a 1997 release. I mean, who's buying games on Dec 31, to your point of who released them on that day. πŸ˜›
  22. God I hope not. As someone looking to getting back into gaming, a decline in single player is enough to make me say 'forget it'. Like, I get it's some people's jam to play with strangers. But personally for me, I'm playing on my own or I'm having my people over - online doesn't appeal to me at all.
  23. I feel like, back in the old days, the day that Pokemon Stadium 2 came out it cost like $120AUD and I forced my brother to pick it up for me on the way home from university and gave him the full amount in coins I had pooled with my sister. These days though, I would just wait. I was like, 11. πŸ˜›
  24. Another dude here. No surprises though, it seems most forums these days are full of dudes.
  25. The Sims and Sim City are fantastic. I've had a real yearning to play The Sims 2 lately, I don't have much of an interest in the new ones. I got Sim City 3000 last year too, and it is fantastic and took me right back to the late 90's. Now. If anyone can find me ThemePark World and or SimCoaster (mostly SimCoaster) I will be a happy, happy man.
