  1. Let’s get one thing fucking straight right god damn now. BEING POOR DOES NOT MAKE SOMEONE A CHEAT, BUM, OR LOSER DESPITE YOUR DESPERATE DESIRE TO MAKE IT SO. I grew up bottom of the barrel poor. Not much has changed. If it wasn’t for disability and food stamps I would still be homeless, and still be dumpster diving for food. And it’s because of people like YOU. You don’t care to learn. You throw your labels and definitions onto other people, as if your opinion is the be-all-end-all of who and what they are. Have you ever even MET anyone who is or was homeless? Have you ever met someone who never had a chance in life? Your sense of superiority is what makes a huge portion of the population puke. The enmity we feel for you is because you intentionally use your ignorance to breed stupidity. And you really think no stupid richies exist who get by on mommy and daddy’s buck? Try Paris Hilton.
  2. Dragon Strike was always one of my favorites.
  3. Around 20 years ago, I was homeless. I spent 3 years on the street with nowhere to go. I lived in an old abandoned feed mill. My egg donor (aka mother) and female DNA match (aka sister) only lived a few blocks from me, but neither would take me in. During that time I was alone. Virtually. Where I was staying there was an old pile of sawdust and grain. It was about 6 feet high and probably about 12 feet wide. There was a colony of rats living in it. I would say close to 100 there. I knew that they would tear me up if I tried to dominate them, but I also knew they would do the same if I submitted to them too much. The patriarch of the colony defended his colony fiercely at first. I never attacked, but I didn't back down either. Eventually we grew to trust each other. After that we became friends. I named him Star, because he was black with a white star on his belly. Over time I gained the confidence of the whole colony. My home at the time was a sleeping bag and a duffle bag that had clothes in it for a pillow. I would often wake up with rats sleeping either on top of me, or even in the sleeping bag with me. There was once I woke up to a female giving birth on my sleeping bag. While I was living there it was hard to find food at first. Normally I would end up stealing what I could from grocery stores. Not a good idea, I know, but when you're starving you don't have many options. Then I got to thinking. When I was 16 I worked at Pizza Hut. I remembered that at the end of the night, we always threw a ton of pizza in the trash. Stuff that people who dined in didn't finish, or pizza that just never got picked up. So I started dumpster diving there. It was a gold mine. I never had to steal food again. A lot of it was water logged due to throwing cups of ice and stuff in the trash. I always passed on that. But the dry stuff I took with me. I got burnt out on pizza REAL quick, but hey I had to eat. It also gave the rats a better meal too. Granted rats are scavengers, and will even resort to cannibalism if they have to, but we had some good meals together. Water was never hard to come by. Every building has an outdoor water spigot, and a couple 2 liter bottles kept me hydrated. Granted I wouldn't have minded a soda once in a while, but that just wasn't in the cards at the time. So I found a steady supply of food and water. Over the years my spirits got lower and lower. I had less and less will to go on. Star was always there to keep me going, but he didn't have magical powers to make everything ok. He always followed me around like a puppy. When I would leave the mill, I would either put him on my shoulder and take him with me, or he would sit there at the door waiting for me looking so sad that I was gone. And when I got back he would go absolutely nuts. He was so sweet. But one day, I decided that I was done. I couldn't live like that anymore. I decided it was time to die. So I climbed up the stairs to the top floor which was about 5 stories up. There was an old window there that was busted out. I looked out of it and decided that a head first dive would do the trick. I started to climb up into the window when I felt this small tug on my pants leg. I turned around thinking I was caught on something. I was caught sure enough, but not how I was thinking. It was Star. He had followed me up the stairs. I tried to move him away so he didn't go with me. I started climbing up again, and again I felt that tug. He had me again. Somehow he knew what I was going to do, and he was determined to stop me. His heart was bigger than any I had ever encountered. He was the first one that loved me unconditionally. He fought me to stop me from killing myself. I couldn't believe it. A wild rat loved me that much. I sat down with him and he climbed up on my shoulder. I started crying. If he loved me that much, there was no way I could do that to him. From then on everywhere I went, he went. Not just because I wanted him with me, but because he wouldn't let me out of his sight. Even if I just stepped around the door to pee, he was right there with me. I'm crying right now as I'm writing this. If it wasn't for Star I wouldn't be here right now. To this day, no breathing creature holds as much of a place in my heart as a rat. I have probably about 40 little guys here with me. I have an emotional need for them. It's all in thanks to Star. I wish rats lived longer or were immortal so I could have him here with me. But unfortunately he's gone. And I'm the only one that even knew he existed. Maybe, if I'm lucky enough, I'll see him again. On the other side. I just hope he's patient, because while I'm eager to see him again, I'm not eager enough to go for a permanent visit. At least not right now.

    Hair Bands

    Perfectly put.
  5. If we're talking website hosting, I use pSek. They're a really good hosting company, and their prices are great. I got the silver package more than 10 years ago.
  6. I have the Zelda edition controller as well. But I don't think I've ever even taken it out of the box. @Rain Dew got it for me as a gift several years ago. I don't remember if it was a "just because" gift or if it was something like my birthday or our anniversary. Either way, I have one. I also have the Zelda edition headset. But I keep it in the box as well and use my Astro A10. I like it a lot, so I see no need to open 2. The same could be said about controllers too though, so that may be rather redundant.
  7. All you need is enough to live a decently comfortable life. It's nice to have luxuries, but it's not required. I have a minivan that I drive if I have to take my chair anywhere. That's more or less a necessity. Then I have my Camaro, which is a luxury. I didn't need it, despite desperately wanting one for the past 35 years. Desire comes second after require. We require clean food, clean water, adequate clothing, and adequate shelter. Other preferable requirements would include things like top notch health care. For people like me, a wheelchair is required. After that, is things we don't need. Just things we desire. I desire skulls due to being a collector. I desire Zippos due to being a collector. I desire video games. I desire YouTube. I desire my Camaro. None of that is a requirement to live. To occupy my mind I can buy a deck of cards for 50¢. Solitaire sucks after about two games, but it occupies the mind. For those able to walk, you could go on hikes. With our money we first have to figure out what is required and then worry about what is desired.
  8. I signed up on playstation.com to be alerted when the PS5 comes back in stock a while back, but so far no luck. As soon as it does though, I'm buying one. They're $500 on the website, which is half the price of anywhere else except maybe a retailer like Gamestop or Walmart. Online Walmart wants $1k though so I don't know if I would even consider getting one from the crooked greedy bastards. They commit false advertising a lot too, so I recommend everyone steering clear of them.
  9. That's a great idea, but unfortunately no one is willing to pay for it, whether they have the money or not. Also the manpower to clean up things like this is severely lacking. Not enough people are willing to pitch in to clean up and recycle. So to get enough for the rocket to even matter would take decades. and by that time the amount of trash that we would need to launch would have tripled at least. Garbage Island is the size of two Texas's. It's enormous. Yet we're doing next to nothing to clean it up and dismantle it. Sure there are groups that clean up trash on land and at sea, but their efforts are all but futile. If I could I would be right out there beside them doing it. Unfortunately though, I can't help. Except donations, but I don't honestly know who to trust and whether or not if the money goes to cleaning up or into someone's pockets.
  10. Age. One was about 3 years old, and the other was somewhere between 2-3. Unfortunately, rats have a really short life span.
  11. Yes. Ever since a rat saved my life, they are sacred to me.
  12. 2 of my rats.
  13. Does anyone else ever get bored with their controller? What I mean by this is take for example the controller that PS4 came with. It's the standard black. I got bored with it, so I bought the glacier white controller. Now I'm getting bored with that, so I'm thinking of buying a different color. Maybe the magma red or midnight blue. Rose gold wouldn't be bad either. I just get bored after a while using the same controller. I'm thinking of switching back to the black controller tonight when I go to bed so it can charge. I would be putting the white controller up, since I'm getting bored with it and those are the only two colors I currently have.
  14. Another day, another death.
  15. I second that. I had signed up for it, and it was just not worth the money. The service is just horrible, and playing the old games emulated to a new console left me feeling empty. Nostalgia is extremely important for me. So I just unsubscribed, and stick to the games that were intended for Switch. or are multi-platform for the consoles of today.
  16. God Of War RDR2 Kingdom Come Deliverance For Honor You should also get The Dark Pictures Anthology. Man Of Medan is a really great game. The Nathan Drake collection is a great series. So is Life Is Strange.
  17. The Ring Of Fire Farron Balanced Mr. Nightmare Corpse Husband Lazy Masquerade Repzion MrBallen Chilling Scares The Humanist Report The Young Turks WatchMojo Doctor ER LegalEagle Doctor Mike The Damage Report Rob Gavagan I also like reaction videos, and RDR2 videos.
  18. I have 3 YouTube channels. One is just a couple videos that I made for the hell of it. One is a gaming channel that I'm working on with @Rain Dew. And the other is just a rant channel.
  19. I fronted a band when I was a kid. I both sang and rapped. I only have one of our songs from back then, but at least I have some of our music.
  20. I'd love to, but obviously can't. It would be fun to do the indoors version though. I did stuff like that in boot camp, but that was 22 years ago.
  21. I hope so, because I had 3 gold bars when Arthur died, and several gold nuggets. I also had about 2 dozen different guns.
  22. Yeah..... that's exactly what I said in my initial post.
  23. You must be playing a different version than I am, because I don't remember John being able to keep anything that Arthur had. Then again, it's been a VERY long time since I have played the epilogue. I just reached it again recently, and I'm still at Pronghorn Ranch. Does the game wait to give it all to you until you move down to New Austin to build your own ranch? It feels weird to ask questions instead of give answers about this game, but I've only played the epilogue a couple times. It breaks my heart so bad when Arthur dies, that I just can't play that far into the game anymore. I always start a new game before then. But I wanted to play until the end one more time, so I went through it. I cried like a baby, but made it through. I'm going to do one more full playthrough for our gaming channel, but after that, I'll never play through all the way again. It hurts too much. When Arthur dies I feel like I lost my father, brother, and best friend. The one man I could love with all my heart.
  24. I try to, but the sad fact is that all too often, what we recycle ends up in a landfill anyway. It's a good idea to at least try. But I don't have a whole lot of faith in it. Especially when you look at our oceans and the millions of tons of plastic floating in them. Garbage Island is a real problem that needs to be addressed. This is what's happening right now:
