  1. They would have t focus most of their lives on their chosen game. For example, they wouldn't be able to go from competing in a Call Of Duty tournament to playing My Little Pony on Game Boy. They have to stick with CoD. Sure they can play other games to try to avoid a burn out. But their profession would keep them there every day. And I definitely agree that I couldn't do it every day. As I've said hundreds of times, RDR2 is one of my favorite games, but I can't hit it every day. I have to start jonesing and need a fix before I boot the game up again. It's like back when I was an addict. I needed a fix multiple times daily. An off topic request: People, please don't do drugs. Marijuana is fine for medicinal purposes, but leave it there.
  2. You wanted to see some pics of them so here they are.
  3. If you're meaning gaming celebrity, then you're damn right. But overall, there's others that I'm a much bigger fan of.
  4. True, but corporate greed would never allow such a thing. Especially with Walmart.
  5. It looks, from that trailer, a hell of a lot better than Diablo III. That one was just a fucked up mix of Diablo and Contra.
  6. To be a proficient eSports player, the best analogy I can think of is that you would have to have multiple Ph.D's in the game you're wanting to compete in. That's not something that can be easily accomplished. You would have to know every single tiny little thing about the game in question, and master every single one of those tiny little things. Nothing could be overlooked or taken for granted. Gaming in eSports competitions is the top level any gamer could achieve. I personally don't have the drive or dedication to reach that level. Not to mention that the games are largely multiplayer, typically through a LAN. But it's still online gaming, which is something I flat out do not enjoy.
  7. As long as we never see another year like 2020 again, I'm good.
  8. Another that would have to be number one that I forgot about is Street Fighter The Movie The Game. It’s a game based on a movie that’s based on a game. What the fuck were the developers thinking?!
  9. That would be awesome if Sony was to get in on this. I would want to see it for the PS4 as well, since that’s what the majority of Playstation gamers are still playing. The most comfortable controller in existence completely customized? They would be raking it in.
  10. I do play an aulos, and I’m trying to teach myself guitar. It would be great to be in another band. But I’m wanting to do YouTube right now. But until I can figure out how to get my voice correct in these videos, no one will see them, despite me having any uploaded.
  11. Not a damn thing. I never really do much of anything for the holidays. I could participate in a Sol Invictus ritual, but I’m just not a holiday type person.
  12. If I was going to customize it in any way I would probably just either put some decals/stickers on it or paint it. I would rather have it completely unique and represent me. Plus it would be a lot cheaper too.
  13. Zelda: Twilight Princess had great art. It was an absolutely beautiful game, artistically speaking. Killer Instinct on SNES had graphics ahead of its time. DKC did too. The original Mega Man games on NES were also extremely well done. Then there's Conker's Bad Fur Day. That one had amazing design. The current South Park games look exactly like the show. That's almost impossible to do with TV show based games. Sonic The Hedgehog always had great art as well. It was amazing. Leaps and bounds above most SNES games. Say what you want about this next one, but I think Castlevania SOTN was beautifully done as well. Dantes Inferno and the God Of War games are also graphically beautiful. There are so many games that were drawn beautifully, that it's hard to list all personal favorites.
  14. RDR2 didn't do too well with the drunk effect in my opinion. They just make the screen pulse and a little fuzzy. Arthur may say a few goofy things, but that's about it. He doesn't really stagger around or anything. It's actually kinda boring.
  15. Depending on what the item is often determines whether or not I will go for it. With controllers, I always buy from the parent company. For example, my PS4 controllers have to come from Sony. I won't buy knockoff controllers. I've had knockoffs for other systems before, and they never worked right. So not I just spend the extra money and go with the name brand in relation to the system. With headsets, I just go with something decent that works well. If it's a gift, that's fine with me. For example I have a special Zelda edition headset that @Rain Dew bought me a few years ago. It's a great headset. But I've also had knockoffs that served their purpose for a while. So for me, it all depends on what it is.
  16. Yes I'm serious. My floor is nasty as hell, so as soon as I can figure out a decently clean spot I'll take a couple pics and post them.
  17. Diet Pepsi or black coffee. More often than not it's the Diet Pepsi though. I have a mini-fridge here in my office/den/computer room or whatever the hell you want to call it. It is always stocked with soda, and my coffee pot is right beside it. So whether I want something hot or cold, I have it right there waiting for me.
  18. This doesn't have to be anything tangible. It doesn't have to be a game, or online subscription to Game Pass or anything. It just has to be related to gaming. For me, it came from @Rain Dew a couple days ago. She got me one of the greatest gifts I have ever received in my life. She was on Cameo, and she bought me a shout out from Roger Clark, aka Arthur Morgan. I got a video message from Arthur Morgan. I was in a stunned silence for over two hours. I eventually ended up throwing up. The shock was almost more than I could believe. I actually told her the next morning that I had dreamed it. She told me it was real and we watched the video again. Since then I have watched it over and over. I still can't believe it that I got a message from Arthur Morgan himself. He talked to me in his real voice and as Arthur. He gave me some tips on voice acting, which is something I'm really wanting to get into. It's still mind blowing.
  19. I spent almost $200 on RDR2 Ultimate Edition. I wanted the code that unlocks the extra quests and free items/horses and all the other stuff. The Special Edition would have done fine, but I couldn't find that one. I was all over the internet trying to find it, and finally found it on eBay. The Ultimate Edition does all that but also does it for the online version of RDR2 as well. There was only one that had the code unused, so I bought it. Then later I saw on Rockstar the bundle that I could customize that was less than that one copy of the game. So adding them both together, I probably spent around $380 or so to buy the game. Here's a comparison between the Ultimate and regular editions of the game from the Rockstar webpage.
  20. I have 2 Master Swords, novelty coins, clothing, posters, and other random crap. I don't have a whole lot. Most of it is just random junk that I don't even know where the hell it is. The big things are the swords. One is a hell of a lot higher quality than the other, but they're both good quality replicas.
  21. Selling these things like this sounds suspiciously like scalping to me. Gifting them is another case, but selling them doesn't sit right with me for some reason that even I can't quite put my finger on.
  22. You can try Among The Sleep. It's a good one. It's first person if that makes any difference. Creepy Tale is another good one.
  23. Motion capture is a major thing to produce games these days. Sure every company does it different, but they all still do it. The actors from RDR2 have joked saying they looked like ninjas with ping pong balls all over their bodies, including the horses. YouTube interviews is how I know that. So with that in mind, I would see that coming in the future to make VR fully immersive, until that little chip that you stick to the side of your head that transports you to a matrix like world comes out.
  24. I hope to hell not. Zuckerberg has his grubby little paws into almost everything else, so there's no sense in Facebook making a console. We see consoles come and go, but no one can really compete with the big 3. So in my view, it would just be a waste of time on their part, because I only see it being a major flop and the company losing millions if not billions. Not that Zuckerberg would really notice if it was just millions.
  25. Doesn't your job get monotonous as hell? I would think that it would often lead to burnouts for a lot of workers.
