  1. It wasn't registering my finger when I tried to use it. I would try to open an app or play a game, and it wouldn't register it. It just got to a point that it pissed me off so bad that I grabbed my whiskey bottle and smashed it. Good riddance as far as I'm concerned.
  2. I've played every Final Fantasy game. The only real customization is weapon upgrades.
  3. If I could find the cards right now, I would. But I have so much shit piled up around here that it would take me forever to find it. Unless I got extremely lucky, I would probably be old and gray before I found it.
  4. In all honesty, I used to take it apart, leave the electronics with the tower, and just put everything else in the dishwasher.
  5. Going through the hassle of collecting important items so I can upgrade everything I have and everything need.
  6. NES to RDR2. That's a bit of a system shock.
  7. I have it on my Switch, and so far it hasn't disappointed.
  8. I have a massive collection of Simpsons trading cards and NKOTB trading cards. Well, I don't know if they're technically "trading" cards, but they're collectible cards. And I have every one of them. Most of them I have a lot of duplicates.
  9. I'm a hockey nut as well. My team is the Red Wings. As for relocation, if they do leave Arizona behind, I would like to see them go to KC. Being a Missouri native, it would give another team here and lessen the hometown bullshit that everyone has towards the god damn blues. The blues is the one team in the league that I can't stand. I would love to see the team dissolved and the players recruited to other teams. But the Coyotes have a lot of reason to move, not just the ending of the lease. They have never really brought enough revenue to the state for them to keep up with the cost of a professional hockey team. If they were in a different part of the country it would be different. But the in southwest part of the US, they just don't usually have interest in "winter" sports. NFL, NBA, MLB are always going strong down there, but the NHL just doesn't have that hold. Not only do we have to accommodate for the Kraken, but also the Golden Knights. They are just a couple seasons older than the Kraken. So the NHL is still adjusting to that. I know Quebec would love to have another team, but I honestly don't see them crossing the border. They'll stick around, but I'm pretty sure not in Arizona.
  10. AS big as the White House is, I just wonder how many bombs it took and how much that cost to get as much Adolf out of the WH as they could. I bet all the furniture and carpets were replaced. I wouldn't want to touch anything he did. Adolf's level of stupid and corruption is high enough that, to even touch something he touched, it is almost certain to contaminate others. And thank you for apologizing to rats.
  11. Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 8:46AM EDT. The north tower of the World Trade Center was hit by a commercial airliner on flight 11. At 9:03AM, the southern tower was hit by another commercial airliner on flight 175. At 9:37AM flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. At 10:03AM a fourth airliner, flight 93, crashed in a field near Shanksville Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh. The target was believed to have been either the Capitol or the White House. Four planned and deliberate attacks against the United States took the lives of 2,977 innocent people. It also took the 19 lives of the terrorists executing the plan, for a total of 2,996 people. In the aftermath, the brave men and women who rushed into the devastation to search in the hopes of finding a single survivor, who in turn lost their own lives doing so must be acknowledged. That puts the number well over 3000. We cannot forget, nor can we forgive what happened. Not only was the United States devastated by the attack, but the rest of the civilized world was in shock also. Many of our allies joined in with us to bring those responsible to justice. We will never stop seeking for justice to win out for the atrocities committed by man. I would say "mankind" but there is no kindness to be found in acts like these. I ask everyone to take a moment to remember those who died, simply because one man didn't like us because of where we lived. Despite being misanthropic, I don't believe in genocide unless it is the entire human race.
  12. I was able to play just the first few minutes of it, so I don't know names, but I have to say that the graphics of the game are absolutely beautiful. I was honestly blown away. As for favorite FF games, mine is and always will be FF8.
  13. I play a Lite so I don't have the docking option. But I didn't need the docking option because I specifically wanted it for the portability. And I haven't regretted my decision once.
  14. I couldn't agree with you more. My people were like that. 1/4 of my heritage is pure German. For the years of 1933-1945 I completely and fully renounce my German heritage. And I don't just mean that I have some German. I mean my great grands immigrated from Germany around the time of the Civil War. They didn't speak a single word of English. If you said 'hello" to them they would wonder if you were being friendly or threatening them. All the way up to my grandmother, everyone in the family was completely fluent in German. That ended with her generation. I also have some Native American in me. My people walked the Trail Of Tears. The Europeans did some horrid things to the Native peoples here. But you can't lay blame on them for being European. They saw people with a different skin tone, and that had lesser technology, and their greed led them to attacking and taking whatever they felt that they wanted. It's human nature. If you're homo sapien you're a piece of shit, and no one is an exception. Not you. Not me.
  15. You can only improve yourself if you honestly believe you need improvement, and then take the steps necessary to make that improvement. Otherwise it's nothing but wasted time and energy that could have been put towards something that mattered.
  16. As far as Nintendo consoles go, it's really hard to make one a classic. There has to be something extremely special about it. The NES for example launched us from 2 bit graphics up into 8 bit graphics. The games were so much more complex and detailed. The graphics were astounding for the era. The SNES introduced up to shoulder buttons. No one had thought about putting buttons there. The controller laid the groundwork for all future controller designs. The games were also innovative because they allowed us so much more range and so many options, that it's hard to match. There are games that debuted in that era (on Sega as well) that have led to blockbuster movies. The original Game Boy did the same thing for portable gaming that the NES did for home gaming. Prior to it, the only real option we had were Tiger games. Yet with the Game Boy, we only needed one console, and could carry cartridges with us to play different games. Then there's the N64. It brought us into the 360° view of gaming, which before was unheard of. Most people disliked the controller design (personally I liked it) but the fact that it was the first 360° system had people drooling. Those 4 systems all gave something new and groundbreaking to gaming as a whole, not just Nintendo. That alone makes them classics. Age is another factor. It also needs a bit of a "cult following" if you will, to make it a classic. For example, with about 3 game exceptions, I am a classic gamer. I play Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, and Sega Genesis almost exclusively. They are what I grew up on, and I still vastly prefer them. If you see me gaming, it's a 98% chance that it's one of those systems. So there are several factors that go into consideration as to whether or not something has earned Classic status.
  17. I've never left North America, unless the Caribbean counts. So everywhere I have been has had both sushi and tacos.
  18. When I'm on my phone, I always screw up with the keyboard. I constantly hit the wrong key and don't notice it until I sent the message or post. My biggest problem is with the I and O keys. I always hit the wrong one. Then comes my computer keyboard. It's things like capitalization because my damn shift keys like to stick. My space bar likes to stick too. Often to the point that I have to use both hands to press the god damn key. And again, I don't notice it. So when I see my own post after the 5 minute mark, when I can no longer edit it, and notice all the screwups I made, I want to strangle myself. It's why I made the comment about needing a proofreader. I was actually half serious about it.
  19. Since you said "fashionable outfits" but gave no more details than that, it could lead to a lot of variants. It may not be worth anything from one person to the next. For example I think Kendall Jenner has NO fashion sense and horrible/slutty taste. Whereas I think I have good fashion sense. She would probably look at me the same way, as I'm one of the people she refers to as a "peasant".
  20. That's not a bad idea. Whether you get discovered by Warner Bros. or Disney doesn't matter all that much. You could be a huge hit on YouTube or TikTok. That can bring in a steady income if you're big enough. The last time I checked, Jenna Marbles for example was worth three million from her YouTube career. that's a pretty damn nice chunk of change, if you ask me.
  21. I couldn't have said it better.
  22. Nope. Her name is pronounced Kayva. It's Irish.
