FF8, honestly. Sure the cutscenes are beautiful and some of the best graphics I have ever seen in a video game. But including the remaster you can still tell that it’s a more than 20 year old game.

Thinking too much. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but when I think this much I lose reaction time and end up more vulnerable to/during attacks.

Here for the last few months it’s been RDR2. I don’t know how or why, but at some point I became obsessed with the damn game.

This one is on me. I would give myself a measurable amount of endurance and stamina. I don’t have the strength to keep up with the controller if things start moving quickly. I wear out before the task is completed.

I’ve spent more than 30 years fighting to beat Legacy Of The Wizard and have only found one of four required crowns to be able to awaken and kill the dragon. I don’t care if it takes me the rest of my life. I will beat this son of a bitch.

A complete cessation of existence is too much to pass on. I’m going for no longer existing.

Are you really surprised? They’re in love with Adolf. We had Adolf 2.0 here. Now they’re modeling themselves after the original. The only thing that I wish ours had in common with version 1.0 is that v1.0 killed itself when it knew all was lost. We weren’t that lucky. They’re implementing old nazi weaponry to use alongside any modern weapons they can get their grubby mitts on. Either they get taken down, or we’re all fucked, American or not.

The opposite is actually true. Rats are social animals and can't survive alone. They require the company of other rats to survive. Sure there will be a "battle" for dominance, but that's typically just wrestling and boxing. Yes they do box. It's almost never true violence unless the rat itself is just mean. And they almost never get mean until they get old. In my case, my rats are all a little over 2 years old, so they are getting up there in age. Rats have an average life span of 2-3 years. But it doesn't make it any easier to lose so many at once. I will be breeding a couple of them starting tomorrow (5-29-21) hopefully. I just have to get some reorganizing done. The doe that I plan on breeding has had several litters before, so I hope she can have one last litter safely. The buck is a hairless, so it will be interesting to see who the pups take after.

I don't want to step in the shit, and I'm not taking either side, but I want to make one quick comment offering my opinion here. I think "political pandering" would most likely be something along the lines of a studio or dev giving in to pressure from one special interest group or another to follow their personal guidelines for what games can and can't have in them. I remember the explosion of religious groups when Mortal Kombat came out, and how hard they tried to get it banned. If Ed Boon and John Tobias had given in, then the genre of fighting games would have probably died with MK. Just one opinion. Like I said, I don't want to step in the shit.

All too often it seems like we're all lined up with a milking machine in our bank account, and a big fat dick up our ass. Make no mistake, gaming companies are both fucking us and robbing us far too often. As a side note, I am NOT into anal.

I've never really thought about it, but I probably do. I know I have thought "The game will always be there tomorrow" many times. It never occurs to me that something may happen to my system and the game isn't there tomorrow. So all that said, yes, now that I think about it, I do take gaming for granted.

Lucid dreaming can be a bitch from what I have heard. I wouldn't know, but it's my understanding that it also creates some of the most intense and worst nightmares imaginable.

Animals. I could live alone and know exactly how they are doing health wise, and make my pets all get along. I could also have some of our less friendly animals pay my enemies a visit or two. Think venomous snakes and worse.

My life is nothing but regret. So to die without any would be the most alien feeling to me that I would still die with one regret. That I couldn't figure out what it was that was so screwed up that I didn't regret it.

VR. I don't need all my wishes granted, unless it's the simplest ones (food, shelter, water, and solitude) but get me the fuck out of this world NOW.

I have rode donkeys, and they ride rough. I would like to try a giraffe though. The problem is finding a barn tall enough to hold one.

Food fight as long as I can catch it with a plate.

I have a dangerously high pain tolerance as it is, so this one is kinda moot for me. To give you an example, I broke my collar bone when I came off a bull (yes I was a bull rider) when I was 16 and didn't know it for over a week.

I was going to say money as well. My problem now is thinking up something else. I could agree with NPC's (which I already do) in RDR2 and say whiskey, but I want to pick something better. And I need my brain to realize that fruit already grows on trees and leave that one the hell out of the equation.

I already haunt people when I have a specific vendetta against them, so why should I stop at death? But ceasing to exist is a very attractive option.

Something just popped into my head. I've seen a lot of threads around here about whether anyone takes game reviews into account on their game purchases. Or what they think of reviews in general. But I'm curious about what everyone thinks when they see what we rate a movie in the Last Movie Watched thread. If you haven't seen it, and someone who has rates it really low, does that affect your decision whether or not to see it, and vice versa? It's basically a review that only has a ranking out of 10. I can't say it has mattered to me, because most of the movies that get posted are ones that I have already seen.

Is that the one people are going nuts with about the small Yoda-like alien?

If I'm the one that screwed up, I'll get mad at myself but keep going. If the game is the one that fucked up, that's usually when I rage quit.
