  1. No it’s a more smoky flavor.
  2. I would say Twilight Princess. Granted, the graphics were beautiful, and the game had its moments. But the story left so much to be desired. The trailers and articles before release were hyping it up to be the greatest thing since the wheel. But as far as storyline and gameplay go, it just fell flat.
  3. I’m mostly an impulse buyer. I’ve been burned by buying that way a few times, but I’ve also found a lot of gems too.
  4. Snowboarding. I used to be a pro-am snowboarder. 1080 Snowboarding is my favorite so far. The moves are harder on the game than they are IRL, but it’s still a major blast to play.
  5. Star Fox on SNES. It was initially a bitch for me to get through. I kept thinking that the final boss had to be a major badass and that there would be some kind of big end sequence. None. The boss was a pussy, and the ending left a hell of a lot to be desired. If SOMETHING had happened, great. But there was nothing but a congratulations.
  6. 1) Pizza 2) Salt & Vinegar 3) Plain 4) Jalapeño 5) Memphis BBQ
  7. Got my first points reward.
  8. Biscuit with sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, and a couple slices of cheese. I got started eating it because of McDonalds.
  9. I can’t have a lot of sugar, but if I could I would have a closet full. What I really love anymore is fruit. Fresh is best, but I love canned peaches and canned pineapple.
  10. 1) anything gummy 2) twizzlers 3) snickers 4) Milky Way midnight 5) chocolate covered cherries Honorable mention: pecan clusters
  11. Barbecue is my favorite too. The best bbq chips on earth imo are Guys bbq. OMG they are so awesome. Second for me would be plain potato chips. But tortilla chips and a bowl of salsa can’t be ignored.
  12. Staying in bed. I caught something last night and spent the entire night awake puking my guts up. Also it topped out at 110 with 92% humidity, so that kind of conditions would literally kill me. I can’t even check the mail in conditions like that.
  13. 1) Popeyes 2) Sonic 3) Burger King 4) Hardees (curly fries) 5) Long John Silvers
  14. I picked up WildCATS on SNES a few weeks ago. I’ve always loved the comic book series, and until I came across it, didn’t ever even realize that a video game had been made. For some reason the idea never entered my mind. For those unfamiliar with WildCATS, it’s slightly similar to X-Men, but in WC they’re aliens instead of mutants. Well, most of them are aliens. During their time on earth, they took in a human or two.
  15. I’ll admit I picked up FF13, and immediately thought it was god awful. But there’s games like that, which ended up becoming some of the most loved games in a series or in general. Hell, I was lost with FF8 when I first started playing it because I didn’t have a damn clue what the hell I was supposed to do. Look where that one is for me now.
  16. Back when I was able to walk, it was ALWAYS music. I’ve never really been much entertained by podcasts. I’ve thought it might be fun to do a podcast, but listening to them bores me.
  17. Yes I remember those games well. Those were the best fighting games. I just wish I could remember a title or two.
  18. Is it the same Closer that was done by Nine Inch Nails? If so, then I'm officially afraid.
  19. It was sheer incompetence from the beginning on their part.
  20. It's only a few miles from where I live, here in Missouri.
  21. All I can say is keep thinking.
  22. It’s not as hot here as it is where you guys are, but it’s the humidity that makes it unbearable outside. It’s close to 100 and the humidity is over 90%. For someone like me it’s not possible for me to go out, and survive for long. I start passing out due to heat when it starts getting more than 75. My body just can’t take it. I do great in fall and winter. It’s just spring and summer that kill me.
  23. The NES controller was, in my opinion, the best one. It was a no nonsense, straight to the point controller. All you needed were 2 buttons and a D-pad. Now controllers have a bazillion buttons, a lot of which aren’t even used most of the time. I mean when was the last time you remember using the D-pad on the N64 controller instead of the control stick? I’ve only played ONE game on the system that employed use of the D-pad. That was South Park.
  24. This is coming from the eyes of a classic gamer so bear with me. I see a lot of people talking about a specific game here and there. For example all over the forum everyone is raving about Skyrim. Yet I think I have only once seen a mention of Oblivion. Also I have seen a lot of discussion of FF14. Yet never have I seen a single mention of FF13. Are the previous entries of a game series immediately dumped and forgotten when a new entry comes out? I understand that some will have new features, better technology, and a possibly more gripping story. But to just dump the previous one doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. When the next Elder Scrolls hits the shelves (assuming for argument one hasn't already) is everyone going to dump Skyrim and stick it in the back of their closet? It's the same with other franchises like Assassins Creed, GTA, COD, GOW, and so on. Personally I stick with games I like, and whether a new one comes out or not is irrelevant. I'm just really curious to hear some different answers and reasons.
  25. Undertale, yes. Played the hell out of it. I'm assuming "Underta" is a typo at this point. I make them in almost every post and don't notice them until it's too late to edit the damn thing.
