  1. I assume you're talking about online gaming, but since I don't play online games, I don't know what I could offer on this topic. I've tried the online thing a few times, and absolutely hated it every time. So like I said, I can't really offer much to this conversation.
  2. I have around 10 tubs holding my games. I end up going through them almost every day, sometimes twice a day, just to make sure the right games are in the right tub, and the genres are together, the miscellaneous games are separate, they're separated by system, series are together, and a million other things. If there's ONE game out of place, I'll take an hour to find the perfect spot for it if I have to. If the tub is full and there's one game left over that needs to be in it, I'll spend the rest of the day deciding which game (if any) could be moved to another tub so I can put that last one in. If there's a one time event in a game, for example drawing Alexander from Edea at the end of disc 2 in FF8. and I forget it, I will reset the game, start from the last save point, no matter how far back it was, and go again. Or I will start a whole new game. It's perfection or nothing. I may be a severely anal perfectionist, or I may have a case of OCD where everything has to be completed and done just right. if I have a stack of DVD's (Family Guy for example) they have to be aligned just perfect and by season. out of order and not stacked perfectly will keep me up all night.
  3. Yet you're so fucking high and mighty that you flip out if someone says something you don't like. You must BE a Nazi or you wouldn't have taken such offense to my comment. If you would just take your head out of your ass for a few minutes and get off your high horse, maybe you could learn what a fucking METAPHOR is.
  4. That statement is incorrect. There's quite a bit evidence that the paranormal exists. Look at some of the proven stories La Llorona The Moving Coffins Of Barbados Rose Hall The Tower Of London Chickamauga Battlefield Leap Castle Spedlins Tower Ntavelis's Cave Even the White House There are hundreds, possibly thousands of records, many physical proof of hauntings. Such as audio recordings, photos, video recordings, and so much more. If you choose not to believe, that's fine. But don't say there's no proof.
  5. From the first day of Kindergarten. I wasn't just bullied I was tortured. And it wasn't just the students. The teachers got in on it too. I changed school districts between 7th and 8th grade, hoping for a fresh start. It didn't help at all. To top it off, by that time the beatings I was getting at home made me mean as hell, and I beat the complete shit out of a lot of kids and actually came close to killing one. But when I warned him that his family would get it worse if my name came out, he kept silent. But the bullying got worse. Finally I dropped out early in my junior year. I could take no more. I vowed to never return to that town again. And for the last 20 years I've kept that vow. One thing that I don't know how it got started was someone started a rumor that I was going to open fire at graduation and had bombs set up at prom. Due to that, I couldn't take a shit without a fucking cop following me. The day of prom, I thought prom was still 2 weeks away. I had no plans to go anyway, but here comes the god damn cops, asking me questions that I eventually told them to fuck off about. I heard there were undercover ARMED cops stationed all over the gym and outside the school at graduation. I wasn't within an hour of the town. They were still there. It's been 20 years and I still get looks when I'm in the general area. Meaning within 10 miles. I've been misanthropic my entire life, but I have a special hatred for that town. If any one of them was burning I would throw a bucket of gas on them. If they were drowning, I would throw a bucket of water on them. If they were being crushed, I would throw a cement block on them.
  6. What version of Windows was the game designed for? If it was designed for something old like Win98 or Win95, your computer may be too powerful for the game.
  7. Then isn't that just exclusionary, possibly even prejudice? That only players that the game developer views worthy gets to play their game? Sounds a bit like Nazism to me.
  8. I read somewhere that they also considered Samuel L. Jackson for the role of Morpheus. Now don't get me wrong, he's an amazing actor, but this role just doesn't seem like something that would fit his acting abilities. Laurence Fishburne (sp?) was the best choice in my opinion. But if he hadn't been available there are only a few other actors I can think of that could have pulled off the role. James Earl Jones, Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, and Liam Neeson. Hell maybe even Dwayne Johnson. They are the only actors I can think of off the top of my head that could have the right commanding presence to have done the role justice. At least that are alive. If we are going to include deceased actors I would have said possibly Marlon Brando. If you've seen The Godfather then you know why him.
  9. I don't see why not. A lot of games have training modes, so why not easy/medium/hard selection? there are some games also that are so incredibly hard that most people just can't beat them without something like a Game Genie. I'll admit there's a couple like that for me. So I think you should have the option to set the difficulty lever on certain games and then as your skills improve you can increase the difficulty on new runs of the game.
  10. You're welcome to ask anything you want. I'm not an authority on MD, but I do know more than I want to know. Yes the MD can, and probably will, affect my ability to use my hands for much. It is like a slow drip and instead of leaking water, it leaks strength and endurance. But so far just sitting back and pressing buttons in my hands in a relaxed state doesn't seem to be in any danger for a while. Fingers crossed.
  11. Ok so cripples are excluded. Thanks for clearing that up.
  12. You haven't offended me in any way. Trust me if you did, you would know. I don't hold back when someone offends me. And I've been told by both truckers and sailors to watch my mouth. So I'm not shy about letting someone know what I think of them.
  13. I'll stick with the hardware. Digital is good for some things, but not as a gaming system. If I'm not physically changing the cartridge or disc, I'm not interested.
  14. I guess you could call it OCD. If I don't have everything neat and tidy, it will drive me nuts until I fix it. For example I keep a printout in my purse of all the games I have. The reason for that is because my library is so big, that it's impossible to keep track of them all. So when I'm at a gaming store and see a game that looks interesting, I can look and see if I already have it. Now last week I bought a few new games. I added them to the list and printed out a whole new list to keep with me and threw the old one away. For games that I could count on one hand. But it works for me.
  15. You got it. Now for a difficult one. The strangest thing has been happening. For the past two weeks, numbers have been appearing on my front door. I don't know who is putting them there or why they are doing it, but I'm puzzled. I'm a single woman and I live alone. My apartment is on the 4th floor. The numbers are written on the corner of the door in ballpoint pen. Every morning, when I wake up, I check my front door and find somebody has written four new numbers there during the night. The first time I noticed it, there were 4 numbers. Now, there are 56. One night, I stayed up to keep watch, but I didn't see anything. By dawn, I gave up and decided to go to bed, but when I woke up, there were four new numbers. Here's the sequence: 2321012312532318 2315225823022250 0725014222532247 23272320 I don't know what to make of it. Do you?
  16. The first post? What was it? Also is that a good thing or bad thing?
  17. I put them in alphabetical order because it's easier to keep track of them that way. I would like to find a copy of Swordquest: Waterworld for Atari. I would say Airworld, but that one was never made due to the video game collapse in the early 80's. It was completely scrapped and never released.😢
  18. It helps quite a bit. I can run around killing enemies and it gets a lot of stress out. But if I'm looking for a certain drop item and having a hard time getting the item, then it adds stress. So sometimes I just pop in a game that I know I can beat easily. That helps center me and relax me. Gaming is more or less a life saver. And since I have such a short attention span, I have to have something to keep my eyes, ears, and hands busy, or all my issues go nuclear.
  19. Let's just say I'm weird.
  20. I think the character needed someone who could play a dry attitude. I don't see Sandra Bullock or Will Smith being able to pull that off. Also if Sandra Bullock had gotten the role, does that mean that Trinity would be a lesbian? Or would they have replaced her with a male character?
  21. Next riddle. This is an easy one. A girl endured terrible bullying every day at school. Some of the girls in her class would even take her to a secluded place and beat her up so nobody would see them doing it. One day, the girl was found lying dead in a pool of blood in the school toilets. The teachers said it was suicide. She had sliced her own wrists and bled to death. They said she left a note behind. It read: "Please excuse the unfortunate mess. I committed suicide, but it was not because I was bullied."
  22. You pretty much got it. To get the exact answer look at his letter. Take the first word from the first line. The second word from the second line. The third word from the third line, and the fourth word from the fourth line. There's your answer.
  23. Just because some one is a bit younger doesn't mean they are immature. I knew kids that were a lot more mature than full grown adults when I was 12. Also it's unfair to say that older workers are slow, lethargic, can't see or have bad judgement. Just because they are older doesn't mean they have Alzheimer's You need to look at performance, not age. That's all there is to it. Judging strictly by age is not only discrimination, it's prejudice.
  24. Due to my MD, I'm usually in bed around 7-8. I don't have the strength to stay up much later.
  25. I change into loose clothes, kick back in a quiet room and do whatever interests me at the moment. Usually a video game and some background noise. YouTube is most common.
