It's a severely obscure game that very few people knew about even during the NES heyday. And since it's been 30 years since it came out, the only ones that are even aware of its existence are collectors and the occasional classic gamer. I would be willing to bet that many, if not most or even all of the developers who created the game have forgotten about it.

The most over rated book is by far easily the bible. Nothing but faerie tales that people think are facts. The most over rated movie is Friday The 13th. Sure the original wasn't bad, and 2 or 3 sequels are ok. But did it need literally 10 sequels? Actually I think there's more like 11 or 12 if you include remakes and crossovers like Freddy vs Jason. Give it a fucking rest Hollywood.

A temporary help until you figure out exactly what the problem is could be to point a really good fan at it. Put the fan on high. I'm not saying it will solve the problem, but it can't hurt.

You assume that I have played every game you want to bring up, so that you can make yourself feel better. And you did try to make AVGN appear as the be-all-end-all of video games. I've been to Jamaica a couple times, and it is absolutely gorgeous. If I could afford it I would move there.

If it's an option, custom is always the better way to go. You know what you want, and how to go about getting it. But for those of us that don't have a clue or the money, we have to go with pre built. I surf the web mostly. I'm not a big PC gamer. But for those that are, they need certain specs or their computer would be better used as a boat anchor. Also if you have the know how, it's better to build it yourself. You don't know if a special order is giving you exactly what you ordered. Like I said in a previous post, I could have built you a hell of a machine during the Win98 era. But I probably couldn't even point out the CPU anymore.

No. Just because others hate or love a game doesn't mean you will have the same reaction. Take these games for example: FF8 (PS1) Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest (NES) Friday The 13th (NES) Street Fighter 2010 (NES) Zelda 2: The Adventure Of Link (NES) Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (N64) Swordquest: Waterworld (Atari) None of them did very well with the critics. But there are some circles that are die hard fans. Now take these: Dr Mario (NES) Marble Madness (NES) South Park (N64) The critics loved these games. The gamers weren't particularly impressed however. Me personally? All the games I listed, are games from my library that I personally love, with the exceptions of MKM: Sub-Zero, Dr Mario, and Marble Madness. Critics can kiss my ass. The only reason I have those 3 is that there was a time that I enjoyed them.

Supply & demand is a big problem. The developers offer a limited time preorder of a game, that supposedly has extras and exclusive content for 3 times the normal price. Then they either get too many orders to handle, or they don't get enough. That's the supply part. The demand is on us. The gamers. We always want more, bigger, faster, badder, and better. We want the next in the series now, and many are too impatient and unwilling to wait. Which puts the developers on an unrealistic time crunch for fear that they'll lose their target audience to another game by another developer.

What about a virus? For example say you've spent a year getting to a certain point in a game, then a virus your scanner didn't catch hits your PC and wipes out all that progress. I've seen that happen more than once on a computer, but never on a console.

I would say the entire Zelda series. It's the King of the entire genre.

I'm on medication.

There is a problem with some people who have developmental issues being addicted to gaming. But they are typically the ones that play virtually 100% of the time they're awake, they hate sleeping because it takes away game time, and they can't distinguish real life from the game world. That's addiction. There are people who game way too much, but I wouldn't call it addiction. I'm willing to bet that there's a few people here that are like that. I'll admit that I game too much. But being in a wheelchair doesn't leave me many options to keep myself entertained. And I have a psychological problem where if I don't have something to keep my hands busy I'll start having panic attacks. That's why I have a small TV next to my computer that I game on while I'm online. I'm also a YouTube addict. So I have to have some form to game.

It's been 10 days @DC. You any closer to figuring it out yet?

I used to fish. It was mostly bass and catfish. Maybe a blue gill if I ended up with one on the line. Two things keep me from picking up a rod anymore. 1) I'm stuck in a wheelchair, and there's no place to fish around here that I could go with a dock to fish off of safely. 2) I lost interest a long time ago.

I've never even seen the original. I still don't even know what a "Goonie" is.

Seen it many times. My favorite episodes are Black Museum, and USS Callister. USS Callister is an episode you might find interesting. "Stealing my pussy is going too far!"
