  1. I am the worst on earth at puzzle games. I tried playing Riven when I was younger. I installed it, and loaded it up. For me there was no game. Just a walk around some beautiful scenery. I had no clue how it was sold as a game, due to the fact that I had no clue what the hell I was supposed to be doing. Since then I haven't touched another game of that sort.
  2. I played Minesweeper due to a lack of options. After a while it got so monotonous I would've rather counted the blades of grass in my yard.
  3. I rage-quit when I keep trying to get through one part and keep losing at it. For those that can remember, in the special area on Super Mario World (SNES) the second stage that's called Tubular, is next to impossible to beat. I tried for about 2 hours today to beat it. I finally did, but I was losing my mind and going ballistic. Super bitch on steroids in overdrive. I was not a happy girl.
  4. When I was a kid, I played a few games that required movement. A few Wii games, and a couple in the arcade. Now, due to my disability, and the fact that I'm in a wheelchair, I can't really play them anymore. I have to stick to games that have a simple controller where all I move is my fingers, or I'll wear myself out too much and pass out. That's kinda why I'm on the computer so damn much.
  5. I used to go to the arcade a lot when I was younger. I remember being ranked #6 on Soul Caliber 2 out of the top 100, and that machine was always packed. I also played a lot of Silent Scope. One of the best sniper games I ever saw. Then there was one that I really enjoyed but just didn't seem to take off for some reason. It was Dance Maniax. Similar to DDR, but with this one you use your hands instead of your feet. I loved it. I sucked hard, but I still loved it. Then there's the classic that I've never heard ANYONE complain about. Skeeball.
  6. Here's my game library. I'll let you be the judge. I also have a lot of PS2 games, but I'm not sure where they are, so I didn't include them in this list. ------------------------------------- NES - - - 8 Eyes A Boy And His Blob Abadox Astynax Bad Dudes Blaster Master Bubble Bobble Castlequest Castlevania 2,3 Clash At Demonhead Contra Contra Super C Deadly Towers Demon Sword Dig Dug 2 Donkey Kong Classics Double Dragon 1,2,3 Dr Mario Dragon Warrior Excitebike Faxanadu Festers Quest Final Fantasy Friday The 13th Gauntlet Gauntlet II Gyromite Hydlide Iron Sword Junior Edition Jeopardy Karate Champ Kid Icarus Kings Knight Kirbys Adventure Kung Fu Legacy Of The Wizard Legend Of Zelda, The(gold) Little Mermaid, The Marble Madness Mario Bros Mega Man 2,3,4,6 Metroid Milon's Secret Castle Ninja Gaiden Punch Out Q*Bert Rescue Rangers Rocketeer, The Rygar Shadowgate Solstice Spy Hunter Street Fighter 2010 Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, SMB2,SMB3 T&C Surf Designs Taboo The Sixth Sense Time Lord TMNT 1,2,3 Wizards & Warriors Yo! 7. And for those thinking I have a turd in my pocket because I was saying "we" in my post, I'm married.
  8. I just hope the survivors never find out about this so called "game". There's no telling how damaging it would be to them.
  9. It can be therapeutic from time to time. For example when I get really pissed off, I'll pop in MK or SF2 and just beat the shit out of people on it. I can't go out in the street and start attacking people, but on there I can use Scorpion to rip apart Liu Kang. Or Blanka to fry Chun Li. Another game that I just put on practice mode so there's no timer or health bar is Soul Caliber 2. The NES version had Link as a special guest character, so that was fun. But to be honest I was always best with Kilik.
  10. Do you like the forums and sub-forums the way they are set up? Are they easy to navigate?Yes. I've been to other forums with this layout, so I'm familiar with it. Are there any features you’d like to add or remove?Maybe enable the albums. I think it would be interesting. Would you like to see features like being able to list your PSN username (for example) on your Profile or a VGR free-to-play arcade?I can't say either way, since I don't actually have a PSN account. A free-to-play arcade would be cool though. Do you like the look and feel of the forum?Yes. It's a lot better than the default white background and blue lettering. Is it easy to create new topics? Do you experience any errors when you use the forum?Very easy actually. My only complaint, is that I would like to be able to preview my post before I post it. If I just missed it, or it's not there that could be one thing to look into. Are you happy with the culture and policies on VGR forum? Do you feel welcome and included?Yes. Everything is laid back. No one freaks out over graphic language unless it's off the wall offensive. It's just a good place to kick back, kick off your shoes, and relax. Also there's not many gaming forums online, and most of them are pure shit and/or catering to only one brans (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, etc.). Which is annoying as hell. Here you include everything. It's very well done.
  11. Actually it is ambient to a huge number. By your definition, because it is pleasing to the ears. You may not like it, which is perfectly fine. It's your right to make your own choices. But don't push your opinions onto others.
  12. Angelo in FF8. He could learn so many attacks and tricks, and was always there when Rinoa needed him.
  13. The only one I've played is DMC4. I picked it up on a whim a long time ago, and I have to say, it's an amazing game. I didn't know what to fully expect when I started playing it, but I knew I had made the right choice when I did. The only downside was that when we moved, I lost it, and wasn't able to find it for several years. I finally found it just a couple weeks ago, but the disc looks kinda iffy. And since it's been so long, I would have to delete my save file and start all over, because I know there's no way in hell I'll remember a single thing.
  14. I don't even know what to make of this one, aside from puking. A guy named Danny Ledonne created a game called Supreme Columbine Massacre RPG and it's still available to download on his website for anyone to play. Look, I like a good shoot 'em up too, but this is taking it way too far. It even shows the shooters faces at intervals throughout the game. I couldn't believe it when I saw the site. All I can say it that this one is almost enough to make me quit playing video games. If you don't believe me, look for yourself. https://www.columbinegame.com/
  15. We already have one, but haven't even played it yet. But that's mostly due to the fact that we lost the damn charge cord, and haven't been able to spare the money to pick up a new one. But for all intents and purposes, we're not going to buy a new one, unless we want to play head to head on something.
  16. It may be an Age Of Mythology sequel. I don't know if that's plausible or not though.
  17. Final Fantasy 14 is still going strong. There is a FF15, but I've only played it once. The graphics on it are absolutely beautiful, and the story seems engaging. There's the old classics like the Zelda games. BOTW is really popular at the moment. I've heard a lot of people are liking Red Dead Redemption 2. I don't know what that one is though. Mario Odyssey is gaining popularity. There's always Skylanders too.
  18. This one is one of my absolute favorites. Their live performances are just awesome. For those wondering, despite the lyrics and band name, this album came out in the mid 90's. It predates the TV shows Six Feet Under, and The Walking Dead.
  19. Who has fond memories of the first Diablo? I played the hell out of it. Both on PC and on PS1. Each had its advantages. On PS1 you could go double team really easy to attack the bowels of the underworld below Tristram. On PC however, you could download a trainer and make your own items to make yourself virtually invincible. There was also a trick on PS1 that could net you all the gold you could ever want to buy any item you wanted. So for me it's a hard toss up. But if I was forced to pick one I would probably go with PC. What's everyone else's thoughts?
  20. Zelda Twilight Princess was way too over hyped. It was being advertised as the greatest thing since the wheel, then when it came out, it pretty much just sucked. Sales were abysmal, and a lot of people, myself included, were seriously disappointed with it. One really annoying thing with it was that it had more bugs in it than an anthill.
  21. If I needed some ambient noise when I was younger, I would just play some metal. Typically Disturbed's first album. Now I just turn on the TV. I've don't that for so long that now I can't get to sleep without some kind of background noise.
  22. Dig Dug is one of the best games ever released. It's always been a classic, since the day it was released. One of my all time favorites.
  23. Skill by far. If it's just handed to me then I see no point in playing. I want to have to learn what I'm supposed to do, and how I'm supposed to do it. If every item I need to beat the game is right there for me to pick up and the door beyond that is the boss and all he does is stand there and take my attacks like wuss, then I haven't accomplished a damn thing. Now if I have played a game so many times that I know the entire game inside out, upside down, and backwards then that's a different story. It's still a fun game to play, but not a real challenge anymore. But that's because of acquired skill. I'm like that with The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
  24. It looks like that new version of Age Of Empires that just came out. A kind of Re-release under a different title.
  25. I love RPG's. I like the fantasy realm kind. Wizards and warriors stuff. I guess that's why I'm such a huge fan of the Zelda series. I know it's not a full-on true RPG, but that's just an example of the type of game I'm into. Also FF8 is one of my top games. Full RPG, with just the perfect mix of sci-fi and fantasy. Couldn't ask for more.
