  1. I will never move to anywhere that has a HOA. I simply will not tolerate that nazi-esque bullshit. That aside, I would be willing to own my home as long as the property taxes don't take a big bite out of my ass.
  2. A bikini helps keep cool. The less you have on, the cooler you will be. At the moment, I'm in the market for a new one. So I can cool off with the one I have until I find one that I like.
  3. This is a hard one. But to give it an answer, I would probably say it was a copy of RDR2 that I got on eBay. It cost $235. I got it for the DLC code, and so that @Rain Dew and I wouldn't be fighting over who gets to play it since at the time we only had one copy. The reason I say it was dumb is because if I had just gone to the Rockstar website, I would have been able to get a brand new copy for less than half of what I spent on eBay for a used copy. But the DLC code was unused, otherwise I would never have bought it.
  4. How old are you?
  5. I have to agree with @Shagger on this one. Game companies should restrain themselves from announcing a release date on a game until all that's left is the polish. That would give them more time to finish the game, and weed out as many bugs and glitches as possible. Sure they'll miss a few of those issues, but us as consumers will let them know. Announcing a release date too early is what causes pushbacks on the games and anger among gamers. So if they wait until it's ready to be released before they announce a release date, they will win out in the end. more people will be willing to wait for the next installment because the developers take their time to make it the best possible. I mean look at how long it's been since GTAV came out.
  6. This is something that seems to be a trait of Nintendo. Their other major franchise, Zelda, is riddled with so many inconsistencies that not even a rhodes scholar with a Ph D in biology could figure any of this out. To me it's not something you want to think about much unless you're intentionally trying to give yourself an aneurysm.
  7. I've hit burnout many times. Like all of you, I love gaming. But there have been times where the mere thought of playing a video game of any kind, in any format, was enough to make me want to puke. For times like that, the only thing you can really do, is take a break and wait it out.
  8. We hit it even faster than I expected. Thanks to all for making this place what it is. The best damn gaming forum on the net.
  9. Not really. They look pretty much the same way they do on the PS4. Unless there's a remastered PS4 game I'm missing. The hardware runs it the same way from either system. The games don't change even if the system does.
  10. I've never seen any of them, so this discussion will help me decide whether or not to watch them. We have the trilogy around here somewhere, but neither of us have the slightest clue exactly where the hell they are.
  11. That wasn't the only reason and you know it.
  12. I was a bullrider when I was a teenager. When I landed coming off a bull, I landed wrong and broke my collar bone. So that laid me up for most of the summer. I still went to rodeo's and the practice pen to watch at least. I just couldn't ride with a broken bone.
  13. @Aniekwe is absolutely correct. While there is a thread that is only for discussions of cryptocurrency, in a general chat thread, it's fine. If you wanted to turn all the conversations to cryptocurrency, then you would need to use the other thread. Otherwise, talk about whatever you want. However if it's something you wouldn't want your children to see, then think about whether you really want to post such a message.
  14. Taking of your shoes and socks works wonders to regulate your body heat. I keep a pair of ankle socks beside the bed in case I get cold at night. It really works. As for temperatures, here for the last few weeks, it's been around 90° every day. My body can't handle temperatures above 75° most of the time.
  15. I guess I know where I stand with you now.😉 But I do have to disagree. I have been friends with men in the past. They weren't interested in me and I wasn't interested in them. I'm sure that if I had offered, they would have been willing to jump into bed with me, simply because I'm female. But I wasn't a whore. Also I'm not into men. But being friends is sometimes difficult when there's the possibility of sexual tension in the situation. but as long as everyone knows the other persons boundaries (and respects those boundaries), then it should be fine.
  16. 1) All aspects of gaming are in discussion here, which means that there is no shortage of knowledge. 2) The forum is well organized, and easy to search. 3) It's a very laid back atmosphere. You can poke fun at each other and no one takes it to heart. 4) It's a very welcoming place unlike many other forums. 5) Unlike other forums, the owner offers auctions to win prizes.
  17. Zero. Unless fur babies count.
  18. For me, it all depends on what kind of mood I’m in. Music is more important to me than gaming is. But I don’t constantly have something playing.
  19. Air conditioning is a must for me. My body can’t handle high temperatures. So if I don’t have to go out, I don’t. The only exception is taking my Camaro out.
  20. Maybe she was the teacher. As for me, I don’t like kids, so someone needs to be no more than 3 years younger than me. With older partners, I’ve been with some that were around 20 years older than myself.
  21. I have/had one. I haven't used it in a forever, so I don't even know if its still active or not. That aside, I don't remember the login either, so unless I have it written down somewhere, I couldn't log in anyway.
  22. I'm an introvert, and don't do well in loud situations. Unless I'm at a concert, I like it to be silent as the grave.
  23. Some of the male sopranos I've heard have been able to hit notes and sounds that most could never dream of. For example Andrew de Leon is one of the most amazing sopranos I've ever heard. Also with women being basses, I can definitely offer an example of that with 3 simple words: Alyssa White-Gluz. Also I have a voice deep enough that I've been called "sir" on the god damn phone. 🤬
  24. I'm sorry you're having to go through this. It's never easy to lose someone you love. If you need to take a sabbatical for a while we completely understand. Just remember to not fight it, and to let yourself grieve. For your grandmother: Ut illa in pace. For you:
