    Barry Manilow

I have been a fan of Barry Manilow ever since I can remember (from about the age of around 2 years old) since my Mum and my Grandma introduced me to him. I am now still a fan and love to listen to all his old music as well as his new music even now. I went to see him in concert numerous times from the age of 5 years old and my last one was when I was 16 years old. I would love to go and see him again in concert but I just haven't been able to do so. Are you a fan of Barry Manilow and have you ever been to any of his concerts? What is your favourite song from Barry?
  2. Christmas is only a week away now and I for one have been listening to a lot of Christmas music to try and get me in the mood, one song I have been listening to a lot of is Darlene Love - All Alone On Christmas which was a song used in Home Alone 2. I do though have a lot more favourite Christmas songs such as Merry Christmas Everyone - Shakin Stevens, Step Into Christmas - Elton John, When A Child Is Born and a whole lot more. Michael Buble and Chris Young are two artists I have been listening to a lot with their Christmas album. What is your favourite Christmas music?
  3. Home Alone Holiday Heist is a different kind of Home Alone compared to the originals. I shall not go into detail because I do not want to spoil it for others. The first time I saw this movie was back in 2014 I believe and I remember not being too sure about it at first but after a little while I became interested and now I watch it every Christmas. Have you ever seen Home Alone Holiday Heist before? If so, is it one of the Christmas movies you add to your list?

    Elf

So today I watched Elf. This movie is a movie I always watch no matter what when it comes to Christmas time, it gets me in the festive mood and I just love how the movie really brings out the Christmas spirit, especially towards the end. Are you someone who watched Elf at Christmas? What are your thoughts on it and do you feel the ending of this movie brings out the Christmas spirit?
  5. Today I brought the Wii back out again after years of it being packed away and not played on after borrowing Bully from my brother to try out. Can I just say moving back from the Nintendo Switch and even Bully on the Xbox One you can notice the difference in terms of the graphics on this game, makes me wonder how we were ever able to play on graphics like that, I guess we were just used to those graphics as we had nothing better at the time. Have you ever played Bully on the Nintendo Wii and if so, how did you find it as a game?
  6. Years ago I used to be able to play around 6 hours in one sitting, however, as life became more hectic I have been unable to spend any more than around 2 - 3 hours on a game in one sitting, 4 hours is usually possible but is always pushing it. I would love to be able to do another 6 hour sitting but as of right now the 2 - 3 hours and possibly 4 suits me, just takes me a little longer to complete games!
  7. I would have to say that the Halo Franchise would be the one I would love to see stick around for a long time to come. I was a huge fan of Halo 3 and from there I played Halo Reach and ODST and then moved onto Halo 4 and now I play a lot of the Master Chief collection. It's never been a game I have been bored of at all and could see it going for years and years to come or at least I hope.
  8. Do you use any kind of controller grips whether they be for your thumbsticks or the side of the controller itself? I use thumbstick grips myself for better aiming/movement of the thumbstick since the xbox one thumbsticks can become uncomfortable after long periods of use. I find thumbstick grips or 'kontrol freaks' are a must, especially if you're playing First Person Shooters. πŸ™‚ They sometimes can give you a slight advantage with your aiming. πŸ™‚ Do you use any sort of grips on your controllers?
  9. I used to play many years ago while I was pregnant with my first child, but I don't think going back into it now would be a wise decision. The last time I played World of Warcraft, I nearly lost an entire day after getting sucked into it. πŸ˜› It's also the monthly subscription I have a problem with, I don't have the disposable income to invest in a game each month with little to no time to play it.
  10. I would probably have to say Fallout 76 is the worst game of 2018. There was so much hype for it after it was announced at E3 earlier in the year and everyone was expecting a great game. From what I have heard, so many people are disappointed with the game and the price just keeps on dropping. Many people are under the impression the game will soon be free to all. Fallout 76 really feels like they needed to get a game out so they quickly released one. It is a shame really as so much more could have been done to make it a better game.
  11. One things I really enjoy about the Switch is the fact that it uses MicroSD cards for it's memory. Sure, it has 32GB of memory built into it for games, but realistically, 32GB isn't a lot of space, especially for entire games. I love how Nintendo has made it so you can buy a Micro SD card and slap that into your Switch for more storage. Do you own a Micro SD card for your Switch? How big is your storage on your console? I'm aiming to get a 128GB card in the future when I have more games for my Switch and need more storage space. πŸ™‚
  12. What is your favourite era/generation in gaming? I'm a big fan of the 32-bit era of gaming, the original xbox was a blast to play on but I also loved the 16-bit era and even 8-bit was great. I remember when me and my siblings were growing up we spent hours playing the Sega Master System and I spent countless hours playing games like Alex the Kidd. πŸ™‚ I think each era in gaming is special in it's own way to me. I have fond memories from all of them. What is your favorite era in gaming?
  13. That is very tempting! it really bites that they put these deals out this close to Christmas. If i had the funds I would upgrade to a One X and give my eldest son my One S, then he can give his current original xbox to my daughter for her bedroom. Unfortunately, I don't have enough funds to jump on a deal like this. 😞
  14. I just saw this and thought it was hilarious. Apparently the rapper "Soulja Boy" is putting out his own line of video game consoles. However, they are basically just emulation boxes with his name on it. They seem identical to some of those cheap plug and play consoles you'd find at Walmart or Asda for dirt cheap that plug into the tv with a flimsy plastic-feeling controller. However, this guy is selling that junk for a nice profit. Are people really foolish enough to buy into this scam?
  15. I used to keep a journal when I was younger. However, I no longer keep a journal. I don't have the time to sit and write out my thoughts like I used to anymore. Perhaps that's why I forget things more often these days? πŸ˜›
  16. When it comes to the xbox dashboard, are you a fan of the current design? or do you prefer an older version of it? Personally, I like how it looks nowadays. The one thing I would change would be the remove the ads that are plastered all over it. They seem annoying and even though they aren't all that intrusive to my experience, I find a lot of these ads have nothing to do with what i'm interested in. Do you like the Xbox One Dashboard? How would you change it to improve it if you currently don't like it?

    Shenmue

I've heard of this game before and my boyfriend loves it. We also have a friend who is really into this series and gets excited over any piece of Shenmue news that pops up. Smokey is always saying he's gonna force me to sit down one day and play through these games. Are you a fan of the Shenmue series? what makes these games so great?
  18. I'm an xbox girl. I don't really get on with the playstation and I saw they raised their prices for Playstation Plus not long ago. I've only played a handful of games on my PS4 and I don't really bother with it personally. I find xbox gives you better games each month with their games with gold service though. I'm hoping for the day we see cross platform play so we can play with people regardless of what console they are on.
  19. How do you deal with having massive backlogs? Having too many games you want to play through and complete but not enough time to sit down and play through them all? My boyfriend and I have this issue all the time. He's always buying new games and we both never have enough time to sit down and complete them all. πŸ˜› The struggle is real. How do you handle managing your backlog of games? When do you decide "Okay i'm not buying any more games until i've finished these."?
  20. I don't think I do. I'm pretty sure I would crack under the pressure! I would be far too nervous knowing there was money on the line or if a team was relying on me to perform well. I don't think i'd be able to do it myself to be honest!
  21. I don't really have a lot of time to sit and read a novel, and I never seen the original movie from 1989 but my boyfriend was talking about this the other day and he said he's read the novel and seen the original film and that the remake looks far more ominous and darker than the original film. I might sit down and watch it one day but I think I'd be too chicken to do so being that I own a cat myself. πŸ˜› Have you seen the original movie? Are you excited for the 2019 remake?
  22. The last game I played was Call of Duty Black Ops 4 last night with my boyfriend. πŸ™‚
  23. Me and my kids used to play this when it first came out but I haven't played it in some time and I think the novelty of the game has worn off. I do know people who still play it today, including my mum! πŸ™‚ I do think it's a great way to get kids to go outside and be more active while still playing a video game of some sort. πŸ™‚
  24. I saw my boyfriend retweet this yesterday so I know he's excited about it. He just recently got himself a Sega Saturn only a few months ago and I know these are two titles for it he's seeking to add to his collection. The news of these two titles being remade is pretty neat IMO because it shows there are a large enough fanbase for games like this to be remade and brought into the modern era so that new fans can be introduced to the games. Panzer Dragoon is an on-rails shooter series released on the ill-fated Sega Saturn. I never played them myself but they do look interesting. More information on these titles being in development by Game Informer. What are your thoughts? Are you excited to see these two titles being remade? πŸ™‚
  25. I saw this posted on twitter from someone I follow. This is absolutely disgusting. it is never okay to hit a woman or child, and over a video game is just ridiculous! I hope he gets what he deserves. I guess he won't be playing much fortnite for awhile!
