  1. Planetside 2 is actually a very underrated MMO - It had the largest and most epic battles I've ever witnessed in an MMO. We are talking about 500+ players with different roles in the team. Some players just logged in to be the transporter - transporting troops to different bases, every battle wasn't just about numbers, it was also about tactics and wars for control of different segments of the map raged on for weeks/ months. My tactic was always relatively simple - get an aircraft, fly right into the center of the area with the most enemies, jump out of the plane right as it crash into them and take down the rest while jumping from cover to cover so that my team can flank them from another direction. The funny thing is it worked about 80% of the time with the other times being of course not jumping out of the plane at the right time (really embarrassing) or the plane gets shot down before I could execute the tactic.
  2. Crunch time has been in the Gaming Industry from the late 90s/early 2000s or possibly even earlier. The late 90s were the first time I had ever heard of the practice in the gaming industry.
  3. In Skyrim for instance, the Npcs Magicka Regeneration is far higher than your character which essentially means they can spam spells while your run out of Magicka after casting 5 or 6 spells.
  4. I'm still baffled because I'd find far more productive things to do with that money even if I could afford to spend that much on a mobile game.
  5. They've given out 3 million types of apologies which aren't really saying much so I don't think they should be let off the hook that easily.
  6. Since Tencent owns a great deal of shares in the gaming industry, I think we are going to see more incidents like this in the future.

  8. Kojima's stories tend to be very deep with a lot of physiological and mythological meaning integrated into the plot so it doesn't surprise me that some people wouldn't like the story because it'll take a lot of thinking to decipher. Nowadays, gamers are used to mainly dumbed-down games so when something like this comes along, they'll tend to dislike it because it forces them to actually think...
  9. Yeah, I don;t make a big deal of it either - I just thought that the power glove would come with a power suit and you'd look like a power ranger while gaming...
  10. Had some popcorn saved just for this occasion...
  11. Ugandan Knuckles > Sonic 🤣
  12. There was Steel Battalion Heavy Armor that required you to use the Xbox Kinect to pilot a robot and let's just say it was a failed project.
  13. The movies and the games have both tanked because Disney does not give a crap about the franchise and EA doesn't give a crap about the the license they got from Disney so Star Wars is in a real pickle.
  14. It also reaches a point where it cures your insomnia and you don't really want games to reach that stage...
  15. Nintendo has always been handing out Junk accessories since the beginning of time...I get thinking outside the box but there's a thing known as going too far. I'm surprised that the power glove didn't come with power suit and matching goggles turning you into the complete clown...
  16. Imagine launching one of these in these times? Nintendo would be flamed on social media and it'd probably flop anyways.
  17. All kinds of factors come into the launch date of a game including potential competitors launch popular games during the same time frame among other things.
  18. That's a pretty good idea actually. I mean, who is going to look in a gaming case to see if you'd hide money in there?
  19. It has been confirmed for some weeks now that RDR2 is coming to the PC in late November/early December so we the PC gamers can get our hands on it before Christmas.
  20. It depends because on some laptops you can install bigger RAM and other components such as storage while some have the components fused to the motherboard so there's no way to upgrade them yourself.
  21. Unfortunately, it seems the Intel GPUs are for workstations instead of consumer grade GPUs which has left me disappointed to say the least. I was expecting them to offer some GPUs to compete with AMD and Nvidia.
