I always joked that they didn't even play the games because the ratings never really made any sense and I am now realizing years later I've been proven right all along...
The bigger picture at work here is that most of the industries in America are in fact backed by Chinese companies so if they go against the Chinese, they'll face a potential ban from doing business in that region and it is a huge market for most companies so I'm not that surprised Blizaard took that stance.

No man's Sky is a never for me as well as battlefield 5. Some of my gamer friends bang on about Ark survival so I might give it a shot. PUBG is full of issues and the support is crap so I'm not going near that game ever again. The rest are pretty fun though.
I do it for stupid reasons as well - I've done it in online games to piss off my team especially if they are a bunch of douches. I used to do it in Modern Warfare all the while and I'd be called all kinds of names🤣
GTA V is one of the best examples of both the single-player and multiplayer components being pretty good in their own right although it must be said that the multiplayer component is full of p2W players. You can still make lots of money from heists to buy things though so it isn't entirely bad.
This would be quite an extensive list but I'll try

Back in the days, I used to pay $13 a month to play Champions Online although I got the vet account within that same year so I no longer had to pay that. Otherwise, I can't really remember any other ones off the top of my head.
The Joker was pretty good too - not going to lie. It really showed the ugliest side of society and the way it triggered so many snowflakes - I love it a lot.
As I have told many people, it is the modding community that makes Bethesda's games playable at all. just look at Fallout 76 when the modding community isn't there to fix the bugs - it tanked hard. Bethesda themselves cannot make a proper game nowadays and that is why I am worried about the next Elder Scrolls game.
