  1. Yes, most games nowadays are so ridiculously expensive. Let's take for instance, Call Of Duty. The game itself costs $60, the DLC $50 and the microtransaction pay structures in place to get any worthwhile enjoyment out of the game is around $150 up. That is ridiculous!
  2. Exactly my point, If the game has any kind of flaw, it will be magnified and blown out of proportion because of the media hype surrounding the game.
  3. When I was a kid, I always thought the Hardy Boys series would make a great video game - Something in the mystery/platformer/action genre. It could be something akin to the L.A. Noire video game released years ago where you search different places for clues before putting all the evidence together to find the culprit and their motive.
  4. Gaming is for everyone - the age doesn't matter. Hell, I'll be on my death bed in my old age and my dying wish would be to play a video game 😂 I do see some kids look at me funny when I tell them that at my current, I am still heavily invested in gaming(even though I don't play nearly as long).
  5. AOE2
  6. Sonic looks like some kind of furry were-monster on 2 feet than a hedgehog.
  7. Difficult to say because I started with the original Dark Souls on the PS3 but for me, Bloodborne was a tad easier to get into than the rest because I survived half the game without dying once - Its difficulty is comparable to older games but the learning curve doesn't feel quite as steep. The only thing I can say about Dark Souls is that you have to be prepared for anything. You can go from fighting a 7 headed Dragon to fighting mosquitos in a swamp to another completely random setting.
  8. As a kid growing up, I had many devices such as the original Gameboy, Gameboy Color, GBA and PS Vita and I used to play them a lot. However, I have outgrown my love of handheld consoles for the most part (except the Nintendo Switch) because I have a Nintendo 3Ds sitting here at home and only took it out of the box to check if it still functions.
  9. Not a very popular game by any means but the graphical quality of Anthem is undeniable - As a matter of fact, I think that is one of the few good things about the game.
  10. Another pick for a Remastered version would be GTA San Andreas because the gameplay and features were way ahead of its time.
  11. It's pretty fun but it looks like a graphically better Borderlands 2 with a few more features.
  12. You do have button-pressing sequences in those games but you also have the option to run around. Walking Dead's gameplay contains only button-pressing sequences and watching cutscenes which is very boring to me.
  13. The original Destiny was horrible when it was first released but with the release of the Taken King DLC, the game was pretty good after that. I can also think of FFXIV when it first launched, the reception was dreadful amongst many FF players - after its relaunch, it had been well received by the FF community.
  14. I also miss those days - most games released nowadays cost an arm and a leg to even get any enjoyment out of them. This micro-transaction thing really started to gain momentum as far back as 2011 with games like Dead Space and some MMORPGs.
  15. I take it you don't play games like Dark Souls which absolutely tortures your mental health 😂
  16. Do you mean games like the walking dead where it is mostly cinematic with a few button-pressing sequences? Because I find those kinds of games pretty boring - I love to have a plethora of choices in my gameplay style rather than button-pressing sequences.
  17. The problem is the game doesn't actually exist - there is just a posting in the Google Play Store but no actual game.
  18. Have you ever played any of the Armored Core games for the Sony consoles or Mechassault for the Xbox? I have been looking for a new Mech game since Armored Core 6 won't be coming out anytime soon and Microsoft stopped making the Mechassault games since the late 2000s. Also, Mech Warrior is a brilliant series - have you tried playing Mech Warrior Online?
  19. It does involve learning how to use the creation kit from Bethesda and scripted mods, where you have right lines of code, does take some getting used to but it is amazing what you can create. The experienced modders have created some brilliant masterpieces - better than the ones I showed you in the video. Skyrim has a whole modding community that is still very active for the most part although it has begun to slow down a bit recently.
  20. You know after making my post I realized that I missed Castlevania Symphony Of The Night and that should be about 1-2 for me.
  21. I'm not even surprised nowadays - any game that gets hyped up by the media and Youtubers I am extremely wary of. The worse thing about Dayz Gone is that it will probably be one of the better games of the year because most of the games that come out nowadays are unfinished, unfunctional games while Dayz is at least functional enough to play. The standards of the gaming industry have really dropped over the past few years and it is very sad.
  22. My list goes: Mario 64 Ratchet & Clank Jak & Daxter Prince Of Persia DK Country
