    HarmonyOS

Harmony OS has something called MicroG which allows them to install Google Services on their devices.
  2. And normally, they're used as a shield for the guilty parties.
  3. The problem I have with big companies is that they don't want to take accountability when they screw up. They always try to justify the worst of decisions.
  4. Most developers don't care about the protection of your data as long as they can make a quick buck off you. The only thing that makes them have to pretend to care is the bad press they'll get if they don't.
  5. And I'll reiterate that this is EA, they won't compromise to please their consumers. Instead, what they're more likely to do is double down on their greedy microtransaction policies and give us a half-baked experience for a premium price.
  6. It's true - they treat their workers as disposables. As a matter of fact, most of their delivery workers get fired by a new AI system if something happens along the route even when it wasn't their fault. I'll have to go look up the article from a news report. I am surprised this even flew under the radar.
  7. Linux is slowly getting there and it could be possible in the next five to ten years. I wouldn't mind if they could give Windows some competition.
  8. I prefer Trovo by default and I don't know anything about it lol. Twitch has become such a toxic platform that I wouldn't want anything to do with them.
  9. Exactly but this is a policy I implement right across the board - you can't trust any of them nowadays.
  10. Yeah - it's usually some 12 yr old telling you about your mom and cursing repetitively or the basement dweller who has no life so acts high and mighty in-game.
  11. Sometimes the themes of the game take on a more subtle role so if you're not really paying attention, some things will fly over your head. That's why it's important that you play the Deus Ex games more than once because you'll notice a lot of things the second time around.
  12. Wait - it was free?!
  13. Everybody has to find that one game that really draws them in and then they'll be hooked. I do quite a few non-gamers that became gamers after playing games like Deus Ex.
  14. Drunken fist martial artists are the most dangerous as they have no fear of anything and no concept of mercy in a drunken state.
  15. I'd be more inclined to say FF7 and FF8 because they were both excellent games which introduced some of the mechanics that synonymous with FF games.
  16. And you may end up missing things which are important to finish said timed mission which makes it even more ridiculous...
  17. True and it's very accessible so most people can't go wrong with using it.
  18. I wait for full releases and reviews before deciding to buy a game or not because companies may have the game in "early access" but you don't know what direction it'll take until they fully release the game.
  19. I mean you are talking to us now and you don't know any of us in real life and you talk to us perfectly fine. Ultimately, there's not a lot of harm that usually comes from interacting with people in-game.
  20. Even though I have 200 mbps, I still get a bit of lag occasionally although I suspect it's more down to the game servers than my internet speed.
  21. Deus Ex Mankind Divided is largely slept on and it's a very good game - you get to see first-hand what the rebellion of cyber-enhanced humans has brought about and how there's an internal rift amongst that group which dissolves into warfare.
  22. If I'm not mistaken, I've played this game once or twice - I don't think it's a half-bad game at least from an action standpoint but storywise, it's miles behind Deus Ex which is an amazing game in every way.
  23. I wouldn't say important per say as it's a hobby that I've been doing for years and I've never lost my love for it. Gaming does tend to help you out in several ways and can teach you very important life lessons.
  24. The original Metal Gear Solid game has always stuck with me because it had such amazing characters with unique personalities and motives that just happened to be caught up in a situation created by a secret society.
  25. Personally, I don't really like timed missions because it doesn't give you enough time to properly do the mission, complete objectives and also doesn't give you time to explore and enjoy your surroundings.
