Yes the reason they are not into open source of stadia. I think they want to try this one out for some other type of simulation games. Most of the indie games designed with the open source engines can be fun too. I have seen some of such games made with godot interesting. Though only thing they lack is the company level graphics and the 3D graphics and features which is definitely missing.
