I mentioned this in the Cyberpunk 2077 delayed thread, but I'll reiterate the point here. It's always the right decision to delay a game to ensure it's quality and/or to prevent crunch and additional stress on the developer's employees. Gamers will wait for wait a good game and will be more forgiving of a game delayed that's worth the wait than a broken mess pushed out the door. However, the mistake that I believe ultimately causes these delays to happen so often in recent years isn't development problems, it's greed. Game companies want to announce release date as early as possible, so they can start taking pre-orders as early as possible. Some games make their release announcements close to year in advance to get those pre-sales, but there is no way that they can be certain that a game would ready that far in advance. It's almost inevitable that the schedule they have set out doesn't actually work out that way, forcing them into that choice to delay or release a game busted. Game publishers can announce a game's existence to promote it, maybe even narrow a release date down to quarter, but don't give a specific date until you know it's going to be ready. It's not fucking difficult.

It's different because I'm just a regular member who saw that deal and decided to share it. I have no affiliation with Remedy entertainment, 505 Games nor PlayStation. That is what this section is for, normal users coming across deals to share with the community. It is not a market stall to promote your affiliate's garbage. Why is it garbage you ask? Because Key Resellers are dodgy. The sale of used and even stolen game keys happens all the time.

It's spam because nobody just joins a forum then immediately stats promoting a key reseller (Key resellers are terrible anyway and should be avoided). You're not fooling me, you're here to peddle that website., and it's obvious. At least have the dignity to not lie about it.

The game a solid and well deserved reputation, so it makes sense for somebody to want to learn more about a high rated game before buying it. However, that is not the case here. This is a spammer who's been retroactively adding dodgy links to quotes.

I agree. I think they can do one more TLOU game, but after that it would overstay it's welcome.

I wish I could help, but I've never played the game. I couldn't find anything on google about a glitch either. Is it possible that enemies are out flanking you and you just haven't spotted them? I'm a sub-par FPS player and in these kinds of games often struggle with situational awareness and knowing where people are.

And all I did here was copy the link to the YouTube video and it worked fine. (I just chose a random video) You can also edit posts, but only within 10 minutes of posting them (EDIT: like I just did to add the image below). I don't mean to speak for @DC, but I suspect this is a security protocol to stop altering evidence of wrongdoing on the forum. I agree it's annoying that after those 10 minutes, there's no going back, but it is what it is. You did mention in an earlier post that the forum could use a spoiler code and on that I definitely agree with you. Try suggesting this and other ideas in the Questions and Suggestions section.

Well, that's it. Just finished the game. There is so much to talk about, but for now, I'll just say this was a masterpiece in a way all of its own. This truly is a gaming franchise unlike any other. The Last of Us Part II is not story not revolving around hope and finding a light in darkness, like the original, hell it's called "The Last of Us" because it was all about finding what about humanity could still shine in very worst of circumstances. This story is about what the other area's of humanity, hatred, prejudice and violence, can take from you. Dark, unyielding, savage, uncomfortable and beautiful. I'll prepare my full thoughts over the next few days, probably as a spoiler free review then spoiler analysis and discussion. For now, time to reflect... or maybe move on to New Game+, who knows.

I have to assume it's the mouse. It's either faulty of has some kind of compatibility problem. It is possible to re-bind and customise controls on PC games, but controlling a video game like Rage 2 accurately with just a keyboard is very difficult, all but impossible. I think it might be better to try a different, more modern mouse or perhaps try using a controller.

What's the point on asking for help if you never read the responses? I want to help, but this a vague post. You mentioned in another post you have an Intel i5 4960 CPU in your PC, but I have no idea what the rest of your PC specifications are, and since you have a habit of not responding to the threads you start, I have to assume that is all I'm ever going to know. So the best I can do I is post those games System Requirements and let you take it from there. You don't even say what specific doom game you're trying to play, so I'm just going to assume it's the latest DOOM Eternal. An actress named Laura Bailey has received death threats from people over the action of the character she voiced/mo-capped in The Last of Us part 2, (Abby). For spoiler reasons I won't explain what Abby did to piss these people off, but does it even matter? An actress is getting death threats because of something her character did.

I've seen it. Now, say what you want about the game, characters, story etc, I know I will when I'm ready to put up my review on here, but what kind of low grasp on reality does it take to fail to separate a screen actor from a character, never mind a voice actor from a character? This isn't fandom, this is insanity.

Not that I can recall. Sucker Punch, Guerrilla and Naughty Dog seem to be doing well under the banner. I'd take time to research to be sure, but a deal with Sony doesn't seem to be the kiss of death EA is.

Well, any story driven game that isn't an RPG or an interactive narrative should be exactly that. The Last of Us (1 and 2) springs instantly to mind and does that better game I know, but most games allow to observe a character(s) story without altering it.

Beating Cauldron Epsilon in the Frozen Wilds DLC on Ultra hard (I had not tried it on a lower difficulty setting). The Frozen Wilds DLC is easily the most legitimately challenging game I've ever beaten. It was a nightmare, but because HZD offers a legitimately challenging game rather than an experience made of cryptic bullshit and/or crippling the player, I had no excuse. The only way to do it, was to fucking do it and GOD DAMN was it hard. When I finally succeeded, I was so proud... to only find it wasn't over, not really. Fuck.

He's a high-end bartender/manager and one of the best mixologists you would ever meet. Let's be honest, that makes him to cool to be here.
