  1. What, Lapin? As in Rabbit (In French)? OK, apparently so... To be fair, it looks decent.
  2. I agree. If you're not invested in the story enough that you want to watch the cut scenes, it's probably not that great of a story.
  3. I'm now waiting for my better half to return with my copy of God of War: Ragnarök. Doubt I'll play it until tomorrow on the assumption that there will be a massive required download and install, but will get stuck in tomorrow.

  4. Because game streaming is the future, like it or not, I really doubt a major company is going to throw thier hat into the ring and come out with a new console now, it's just not worth it.
  5. You're insane, or that is literally the only new game that you played this year.
  6. I don't get it, why do you reply to posts on threads without reading and/or watching the material contained within? If you offered people minimum level of respect actually paying attention you would realise that this isn't a movie, it's a fan made project. A very good one at that, but still nothing more than that. Anyway, thanks for Sharing @Reality vs Adventure, I thought that was fantastic and shows that maybe we could have an AC game set closer to modern times.
  7. Just heard about this as well. Very sad. RIP
  8. I actually have a great love for games when they do this. You walk in, take what you want and nobody seams to care, it's funny to me. Bethesda being Bethesda always do this hilariously well. The NPCs either ignore you almost completely or they confront you immediately with no weapons or means to defend themselves telling you to get out before they inevitably get themselves annihilated by you're fully armed and armoured self.

    Halo Co-op

OK. I'm preoccupied tonight, but I'll send you the right information when I can and maybe sort something out. In the meantime, my gamertag is Sha99erVGR.
  10. I can't speak for @DC, but I think the wording of this rule was meant to prevent one-post spam peddling for people to join online gaming groups and game specific guilds and clans that, as far as I know, has never happened. If somebody was to ask people to joins thier clans online, especially as a long term member, and post the appropriate links and/or instructions on how to join, I see no problem with that.

    Halo Co-op

Do you plan to do this on PC or console? I may as well a Halo novice, but do have MCC and played the multiplayer a bit with another game community.
  12. I've spoken before about how I once got AC Odyssey with the DLC, AC3 (around £100 worth) for £7.71 effectively through EGS by a combined use of sales and coupons. This remains the best deal I've ever had from a digital storefront.
  13. I think that in the wake of @Crazycrab's post from two years ago; It's safe to say that this little mystery has long been solved. Why people keep bringing his back and obviously ignore what has been posted to the thread already is beyond me. Frankly, this is ridiculous guys. I don't get it, why bring topics like this back from the dead just to ponder the same, already answered question? Whatever the reason is, I'm not going to let this pointless bumping continue. Thread locked. A little bit of common sense isn't much to ask for.
  14. I think you will find that it's likely that those Anime's were censored for distribution in Japan. I know how that sounds, but even home-grown media in Japan gets censored compared to the version you have likely watched as someone living outside of Japan.
  15. People have said the same thing about the previous 5 Battlefield games. It's like COD and FIFA, the less vocal, but also more "dedicated" (in other words, stupid), portions of the gaming population will keep buying it no matter how awful it is.
  16. This might come as a suprise to some of you, but Japan is actually something of a nanny state when it comes to video game censorship, especially when it comes to violence. The CERO rating system that Japan operates to set the ratings for video games will not allow very violent games to achieve a rating, resulting in many games having to be censored to be sold in that country. This has happened with Gears of War, Call of Duty, Dead Island, The Last of Us and even MGS5 to maim... I mean, name, a few. For example, here is how even an 18+ rated game in Japan (Z rating) is still censored compared to a western version. (To be fair, I do think that part in the western version whare the guys head comes clean off after being shot does look a little ridiculous) This forces developers and publishers to make very different versions of games for Japan and the west in order to still sell the game in Japan. however, the developer of of Calisto Protocol Striking Distance Games have decided not to censor thier game to meet a CERO rating and not release the game in Japan officially at all. Story from Video Games Chronicle. According to the dev, the felt that censoring the game would stifle the vision for the game, so they have refused to do so. Calisto Protocol and SDG studios are the brainchild of former Call of Duty and Dead Space veteran developer Glen Schofield and is considered a spiritual successor to Dead Space, with the game aiming for a bleak, helpless feel through it's horror and challenge. Because of that, I say good on you Glen. Obviously there are limits to what is acceptable to show in entertainment media and I don't think those limits need pointing out, but I do not understand why some organisations feel to need to shield adults from the violence and gore within games, movies or whatever that are rated specifically for adults. Why do that when the whole point of the rating system is to prevent, or at least discourage, people buying games for children that aren't appropriate? This is especially pointless in the modern era when we know people in Japan will find thier way around this, most likely though piracy, and play the "naughty western" version of the game anyway. It is nice to see SDG sticking to thier principle and only letting thier game be shown only as intended, but do feel for the Japanese gamers who have to put up with this. Th powers that be at CERO need to take a long, hard look at themselves because this is pointless in this day in age and is only going to hurt developers who sell games in Japan. Those are my thoughts, what do you all think?

    Dishonored

I played the first game. It's interesting and challenging with a decent story, but the mechanic whare your playstyle and how many many you kill affects the environment as you go I feel didn't work. I played as stealthily as possible and killed a handful of people but still ended up with plague and rats everywhere.
  18. Since that website is being an asshole in forcing compulsory ad-cookies and won't work with an ad-block on, I'll instead link the trailer. Honestly, @Knight Plug , I'm not sure why you wouldn't just do that to begin with. It looks kind of interesting, but there's something about it that dulls my excitement. Maybe it's the lighting and game's bright colour pallet that just doesn't scream horror to me.
  19. Apparently it's true. After the deal with Nintendo went south, Sony went to Saga (of America) to propose a collaboration. This ended up the the to companies funding of a small studio that worked on three Sega CD games. Both companies were convinced that Optical Disks were that was next for video game systems and combination of Sony's knowledge of this engineering and what Sega had learned from the Sega CD helped the two companies draw up plans for a Sony/Sega game's console. The powers that be in Sony in Japan loved the idea, but Sega of Japan did not because they didn't feel Sony knew how to make gaming hardware nor software. Yes, the Sega executives certainly got egg on thier face when the PlayStation was announced to be not only more powerful that the Sega Saturn, but significantly cheaper as well. So yeah, I learned something new. Every day is a school day.
  20. I actually liked Titanfall 2's campaign. I liked it's pacing, it's concept and the mechanics. The only complaint I had was that it was too short. And it's no like I'm just being negative to the multiplayer aspect, I probably put more hours into the first game than I did any other multiplayer game ever. The community I was a part of had regular game nights on Titanfall and I loved it.
  21. I'm locking this topic as tis user has already exposed themself as a spammer.
  22. I don't agree. Yes, modern life is more complicated, but it's also more exiting. I for one am looking forward to what's coming next, rather than literally having to hunt and/or harvest my lunch.

    The Color Blue

I'd have them taste the Blue Raspberry flavoured Sneak Energy, kind of like I said in the review...
