StaceyPowers Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Did you ever take years off of an MMO, and then go back? What was it like? I took several years off a MUD once and went back, and I could hardly recognize the place. It no longer held the same appeal at all.
killamch89 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 I've been back to Champions Online several times since 2014 when I stopped playing. I briefly restarted in 2017 but stopped and I plan to go back later this year.
skyfire Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 I do go back to the strategy gaming and the MMO every now and then. Those sort of games are kind of good for change of focus and distraction to feel good.
Empire Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 I was never one of those guys that played an MMO for many many years, but I was glad I quit WoW when it was a good time to do so. I think also that not playing to much of MMO but rather then doing other things as well to break away.
lludawg Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 I used to be a huge Maplestory fan as a kid. However, I went back to it after a few years of not playing and the game completely changed. Unfortunately I went back and it was just not as fun as it used to be. No hate on Maplestory though! I still have many friends who play and love it.
