StaceyPowers Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Whenever I play on PS5, I notice bright things in games are so blindingly bright. Why is it like this, and how do I fix it? I’m using the same monitor as always.

I think that should work for you. As far as I know, such brightness and color aspects are customisable. 😊
Crazycrab Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) It might have something to do with HDR. If it's an HDR monitor make sure the HDR range on the monitor and PS5 match. If it's not an HDR monitor then go into the PS5's video output settings and disable HDR. Edited July 30, 2021 by Crazycrab

Heatman Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 It may be HDR error, have you tried checking it out to be sure at least? If it's not, then try checking out the general brightness 🔆 setting and see if it fixes it.
