Has anything in games ever made you feel you are missing something IRL?

Has playing video games ever made you feel like something in your life is missing IRL?

For example, I seem to play a lot of video games where I am either responsible for a kid as part of the plot, or choose to adopt them (i.e. in open world games). I have never had any inclination to have children IRL, and I still do not—but I realize it makes me sad that economically, I would not have the option IRL if I wanted it.

Outside of ridiculous powers/abilities in real life, not much really because I'm at a stage where for the most part, I'm quite content with my life right now.

That's a good point - life really needs a respawn button instead of being permadeath lol.

Racing games remind me that I no longer have a car in real life.  They also help ease that pain though.

Yeah, a battle hatchet forged by dwarves. I'm missing everything in real life, I lost it all. Most of my games are apocalyptic and horror so I can't say I would miss anything from those in real life.

Haha - something we both know that it's not going to be possible in a million years to come but hey we are allowed to wish.
