Do you play video game characters that have a different sex than you?

Do you play video game characters that have a different sex than you? If so, why or why not, if you feel like sharing?

I do this about half the time. I like looking at a wide variety of character models and dressing them.

I mostly play as a male character but I do have a few female characters here and there based on the story I created.

I'm not a sexist when it comes to choosing characters. I don't really mind the sex but what the character can offer me in the game.

I will typically play a game with a male character first, but then will play the opposite sex to see if the dialogue or reactions are any different in a second playthrough. Some games have very minor stat differences between sexes that you won't really appreciate unless you look in strategy guides, so there is sometimes merit to making a character based on their sex if your intention is to min-max.

Provided the game interest me alot, I don't care about the sex gender, I go for satisfaction and not the sex gender of the game. I played and loved Tomb Raider, not because of the lady being protagonist but due to its quality.

Most of the video games I've played feature men's gender. Not that I wouldn't cherish a game which a female is the main protagonist. Provided the game is top notch, I don't mind.

Me neither - it's just I prefer to play as a customized male character because I can somewhat relate more lol.

Lol, I understand what you meant. Since you're a male, you'll simply want the character to represent you the best way which means customizing it to look similar to your appearance lol.
