StaceyPowers Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 If a game offers you easier and harder options/paths to accomplishing a goal, what do you choose? For example, in BioShock 2, you have more gather options than gathers per level, and could choose harder or easier scenarios on purpose.
kingpotato Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 First time normal or standard, if thats to easy I will for a harder difficulty setting but awlays normal or standard if its my first time playing a game
Justin11 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 The first time I played BioShock 1 on a public game station, I didn't know the level it was, but the AI characters simply gave me a stern test in the level which I played. Generally, I prefer playing from the top level.
Boblee Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 I don't learn anything playing my games in the easy level set up. If not for others that like the feature, I would ask for it to be eliminated in games.
Scorpion Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I usually opt for the harder paths. They add challenge and excitement, making the achievements feel more rewarding and satisfying overall.
killamch89 Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 It depends on how invested I am in the game. If I’m really into it, I’ll often take the harder route for the extra challenge and sense of accomplishment. But if I’m playing casually or just want to enjoy the story, I might lean toward the easier options.
Heatman Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Playing the easy way would make me get fed up with the game very quickly and it's going to be difficult to start playing the game again in the hard mode.
