Christian Contemporary?

I am normally always listening to music. Music always boosts my mood when I'm feeling down or having an overall bad day. When I listen to music, I normally always listen to Christian Contemporary music. It's so soothing and overall just filled with love, compassion, and joy. Do you guys listen to Christian Contemporary. Why or why not?

Well I don't gravitate to religious music or media in general.  I was raised Catholic but I left that behind a long time ago when I started to see the hypocrisy with organized religion and how historically it's been used to justify some of the worst of humanity.  On the rare occasion when I do catch something like that I actually tend to feel a little uncomfortable.  Dont get me wrong I can see why some would find it soothing but it's not for me.

My religious background was also forced catholicism. I saw the hypocrisy when I was a toddler. I let my own convictions and beliefs define me from there, and learned later on that they align with Satanism. I have always been a metalhead, and my musical tastes have reflected my beliefs and convictions.

I find deeper spiritual music while listening to all kinds of music from different ethnic groups which incorporate hand drums and other unique instruments. I don't need words, just rhythm and spiritual music I can feel.

I've always hated the modern Christian music. The rap, rock, metal Christian music feels way too forced like they are grandparents trying to be super hip with the kids, but gets everything wrong.

I listen to contemporary music because they got some really good music sounds that can be really soothing and calm.
