Prof elohstar Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 As a fan of soccer on both real life and gaming, pro evolution soccer was one soccer game I enjoyed playing on PlayStation 1. Have you started gaming in the PlayStation 1 era?
Head_Hunter Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 I combined PES with EA FIFA starting from 2008, until Konami ruined it recently. I stopped being around PES ad focused my attention with FIFA alone.

I used to play it a lot before Konami ruined it by changing it to eFootball and turning it into a live services game. I don't like Fifa anymore either so I've been looking for another game to play.
Darth Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 The only PES title that I have tried was PES 12 (I think). It was on the Xbox 360 and I got it just to try it out. It was okay but PES has never been able to compete with FIFA unfortunately so that was the last time I ever tried it.
Justin11 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 It was still a mainstay on PS2, even on my PS3, even with PS4. But Konami later ruined it all,as they vehemently rebranded the series and renamed it eFootball brought in F2P.

You don't like FIFA, you don't like PES either.. I think it's gonna be a little difficult for you to find a soccer game that you can enjoy.
Empire Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 I feel you, the best online gameplay was on PS2 when we had to "hack" our ps2 to get online play for pes. I mean they are the days, I never did get into the game though, was not for me.
Head_Hunter Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I played mostly offline mode, I hacked the PS2 hard disc, and I was able to install games or download games into it and play consistently.
Justin11 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Pro evolution soccer have lost its power, it was super in the past. I enjoyed the time spent together playing PES with friends back then, when we use to set in-house Konami cup.
Head_Hunter Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Fixing things in order for PES gonna take some time, it might not take up to a year, only for them to relax some money making decisions and keep the game back as it was in the past.
