The Blackangel Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 They don't kill the hero, because people always want a happy ending. Even in horror movies, there tends to be a happy ending a lot. Or if not happy, just something that works out in the protagonists favor. Slasher flicks always end with the "death" of the slasher. Jason, Michael Meyers, Freddy, Leatherface, and any others I forgot always die at the end of each movie. The originals were entertaining, but once you reach 10 in a series, the first 3 have lost their charm.
Jayson Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Movies that drag on at the end aren't my cup of tea. For instance, in American Werewolf in London they did it the right way. The werewolf died, her girlfriend screamed and that was it.
Empire Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 I like to think that whole building collapsed, but the director was like 'nah that would ruin my perfect ending shot - 2020 film will see blood everywhere and body parts flying 😛 not a plastic dool
