The Blackangel Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Maybe this is just me, but it's seeming that fantasy/medieval games are blowing up. Like they're the most popular genre on the market. With the exception of COD type games and GTA. I have no problem with this, as this has always been my favorite genre. But I'm still surprised that these kinds of games are seemingly ruling the market. If I've missed something, or am way the hell off, then please tell me. But does it seem this way to anyone else? Or do I just have tunnel vision since this is my favorite genre? Even though my eyes are open to other games that are in no way fantasy/medieval type games
Family sedan Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I couldn't tell you if these games are popular or not, but maybe people need an escape from the modern world. I mean, I'm sick of hearing that its wrong to like Chevy and Heavy Metal.
The Blackangel Posted July 26, 2020 Author Posted July 26, 2020 I’m a Chevy girl and a metal head as well. But I’m still a fantasy nut. Maybe a strange mix, but it is what it is.
Demon_skeith Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I'm... not sure? I haven't really seen many come out really.
skyfire Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I think the futuristic, medieval, and fatasy has more options for expansion of ideas, so those concepts tend to extend with DLC and the side quests.
Alexander. Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 (edited) Skyrim would be my favourite. The games seems to be highly shaped by medieval aged weapons and places. Without a doubt, there is certainly a Viking atmosphere for the whole game. Playing The Elder Scrolls definitely reminds me of these times. Edited July 26, 2020 by Alexander.
Family sedan Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Blackangel, don't move near D.C. You won't be treated well with the hobbies you have. I'm saving up to move eventually.

It's too big for me. I come from a town with less than 300 people. Anyway, what's up with DC? Edited July 26, 2020 by The Blackangel
Family sedan Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 They won't let you be different. Or they'll rip on you or threaten you for being different. Fuck Virginia and D.C.
The Blackangel Posted July 26, 2020 Author Posted July 26, 2020 I carry, so I think a .45 in the face might discourage that.
The Blackangel Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 I’m a paranoid schizophrenic sociopath, that is the living embodiment of misanthropy. I currently have 2 on layaway no top of the several I already have.
Family sedan Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Well, I guess that does top Asperger's, not that we're trying to.
The Blackangel Posted July 29, 2020 Author Posted July 29, 2020 Do everyone you care about to make sure they don't become a sociopath. Just remember: psychopaths are born, sociopaths are made.
Family sedan Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 How can I prevent them from becoming a sociopath?
