DudeThatsErin Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Do you play this series of games? I've never really been into this but I get why it is so popular. What about you?
The Blackangel Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 I tried it out several years ago. I hated it.
skyfire Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 In past yes. Same with DOTA. I have moved away from both those two games. I played and also streamed but I have moved on from that.
Zro Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 yeh i played that game It’s a fun game and it’s free to play until level 20 Give it a try. Still worth it
skyfire Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I think WOW is fun to play unless you find many other MMO out there and also there are many variations of MMO lately like MOBA and arena based MMO which are fun to play.
Oliver Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 I play it because of the quality, the lore, the game play, the art style and because i hate Asian morphs and good western mmos are hard to find these days.
skyfire Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 I think in past it was fun keeping up with it but now a days not much so.. it gets bored with old MMOs.
Wolves Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 It was really popular several years ago. It was probably one of the largest online PC games of its time. I haven't played it since around 2013 - 2014 and these days I still wouldn't be interested. There's just a lot of variety out there that's more entertaining.

They were pretty much dominant MMO until they stopped innovating and making changes. And all things fade away when you stop innovating.
The Blackangel Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 I honestly haven’t heard anyone even talk about WoW in a decade. 10 years ago everyone was going nuts over it. If someone owned a computer, they were playing it. Hell, it was so big that South Park even did a WoW episode. I personally wasn’t impressed with it in the least. It was slow, tedious, and there was no actual action. It was one of the most boring games I’ve ever played in my life.

Crazycrab Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 I did play it once back in the day for maybe an hour or two... I didn't see the appeal back then and I don't see it now. The only MMO's I've played to a reasonable extent is FFXIV: A Realm Reborn and (arguably) Destiny but with so many online games infested with greedy microtransactions and "live service" bullshit I might not ever take online gaming seriously ever again.

Kane99 Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 I never played it, but I wasn't really interested in ever playing it to begin with. At the time as well, I never owned a good quality PC anyway. Maybe if I had a good PC back in the day, I would have given it a try.
skyfire Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I think most of the modern MMO need a better PC and also need enough storage too. I think having 500GB min is must these days.
