  2. Sure, I'd welcome more video games being used to help with education. If anything, it's probably already being done. You have online courses with educational aspects. And who's to say that video games have to be just for learning when played for educational purposes. Some games can be used to help with dexterity, eye sight and so on. As well, some games can be used in historical context (Call of Duty, Medal of Honor). Of course you have interactive learning tools all over the web as well, and some games that are made for schooling purposes.

  3. I still have and buy CD’s as well. I currently have more than $1500 worth of CD’s and listen to them whenever I’m driving. But whenever I get a new CD the first thing I do is rip it. And I’m always burning mixes so I have a shitload of burned discs around here, and a hell of a lot of blanks left. CD-R’s and CD-RW’s both. Also my disc drive is a blu-ray RW as well.

  4. Nowadays I don’t really see a way it could be integrated into education unless more games like Mario Is Missing are made. There were a couple PC games when I was a kid that were fun as hell and educational. One was Skytrip USA, and the other was Operation Weather Disaster. OWD was so much fun to play, that none of us even realized that it was educational. If companies were willing to look in that direction, then gaming could have a future in the educational market. But all that matters now is the almighty dollar, so companies are going to stick with what they know will make them money. Just look at all the fuckups coming from EA for example.

  5. Hey @killamch89, @skyfire, can we not spam the topic with just videos? This goes for anyone else just posting videos. I was hoping we'd discuss the games we share here. Posting just videos doesn't really tell us anything, it just feels really spammy to me. Sorry if I offend anyone saying this, but I had to say something. I made this topic to Discuss our favorite games, not to spam multiple videos back to back. I went back pages and it's just video after video. Let's get back to the subject at hand and cut out the spamming please. If you post a video, at least tell us why this game is so special to you. It's just spammy to plaster video after video with no explanation. This topic is also not a forum game, so people shouldn't be doing double posts or multiple posts right after another. Anyway, enough about that. Let's get back to subject. ___________ I've been playing ESPN NFL 2K5 again, but I found a way to use a PS2 emulator and got a version of the game with updated graphics and all that. It's refreshing to see it in glorious HD. It really says something, when a game that's 16 years old or so, still runs and plays better than new madden games lol. I played the newer Madden game recently, and it's the same Madden game we've gotten in recent years. They rarely change a thing, but a game from 16 years ago still plays better. It's crazy to me. Anyway, 2K5 is one of my all time favorite games, simply because it was the best sports game at the time, at least imo. I'm thinking I may start to stream the version I got now, as I want the world to see how good of a sports game it is. 😄
