  1. No since games nowadays still have difficulty settings.
  2. My list: 1) Final Fantasy X 2) Final Fantasy XII 3) Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition 4) Final Fantasy XV 5) Fire Emblem Awakening
  3. Well if we're talking about the whole game I preferred the original. In my opinion the remake feels too sluggish and bloated since they tried making a disc into a full game. But there are aspects I liked about it such as the gameplay and the soundtrack.
  4. Best gameplay in the series easily. That should have been the standard going forward.
  5. That's because you needed to buy an entire different and expensive TV for that experience whereas with VR you just have the headset. VR headset sales have started growing rapidly from last year as well: https://www.statista.com/statistics/653390/worldwide-virtual-and-augmented-reality-headset-shipments/ I
  6. I can see it becoming the norm for gaming within the first half of this decade. Controller headsets were the first step, now we're getting haptic feedback with the PS5, VR is needed for full immersion.
  7. It would be nice if they made the engine faster and change the visual style to either shoot strongly towards photorealism or back to the anime style of SF4. SF5s semi-realistic watercolour style feels hard on the eyes.
  8. Favourite: Final Fantasy X. It's my first final fantasy game and also my favourite to play. It has the best soundtrack of any game ever, crisp animations, responsive gameplay and a touching story. The visuals have aged really well. I like how rewarding progression feels in this game. Honourable mentions to XII and XV(partly because ardyn DLC). Least: Final Fantasy VIII. It was a dreadful experience to me on many levels and I can't think of anything I liked about it besides irvine, the villain, soundtrack and character designs. The characters feel too cliche, the plot feels dull besides a few exciting story beats, junctioning felt really janky and broken, GFs are broken, the visual style hasn't aged well, etc. The flashback sequences were also not implemented well. Honourable mentions to III.
  9. any fighting game that i enjoy playing that is on my hard drive
  10. If I had a PS4 at the time I would have probably got AC Unity. The french setting, parkour and co-op assassin gameplay looked good.
  11. I agree 100% that FF15 is as good as 7. I really liked the villain and the action based combat is much more exciting.
  12. People complain that it was rushed, the story was a mess and there are some complaints about the gameplay too i think.
  13. My list: Final Fantasy 13 Final Fantasy 15 Darksiders 3 Godfall Aragami 2 DmC: Devil May Cry Batman Arkham: Origins
  14. I'm about 6 hours in and just completed the embassy mission. It feels like a step up from zero dawn in pretty much every area. Better graphics, motion capture, 60fps, better melee combat, skill tree, QoL, etc. A much more smoother experience. The plot seems very exciting with the new barbaric tribe.
  15. It's actually rarely brought up but it got low reviews and is a niche series which is why not many people want to get into it.
  16. I thought it was pretty cool when I tried it out. Not all games should be built around VR but I think it would be cool if in the future most games are compatible with VR headsets.
  17. To each our own but to me it seems like 9th gen already overshadows it in every regard. 8th gen was an average time for gaming, a couple gems here and there but overall it wasn't exactly that great and there are many things from 8th gen which already feel dated like 30fps on everything, loud fans, short battery capacity, blocky and slow UIs, stiff game design and extremely long load times.
