  1. When I was a teenager, my best friend and I went around and kicked over lights that some people had around their sidewalks late at night. The next day, there was a couple who drove around my neighborhood and happened to see me outside riding my bike and asked me if I knew who knocked their lights over. I said "No" and they thanked me and told me if I seen anything out of the ordinary to let them know. Needless to say we never got caught lol.
  2. The trailer for a new upcoming movie from the brilliant M. Night Shaymalan dropped earlier today. I watched it with my wife earlier and man I can't wait for it! There's a few of his movies I didn't care for, but the majority of them are awesome. Here's the trailer if you haven't watched it yet, below are my thoughts on it as well. I was not expecting the father to be the butcher mentioned by the shirt salesman. Makes me wonder what other twists are going to be in the film. Will his daughter make it out alive? Will he get caught? I just can't wait to see this!
  3. For those not aware, Niantic recently updated the avatar customizations in Pokemon Go yesterday. Many fans have been complaining about the changes over on Twitter lately, and many people are begging Niatic to bring back the old avatar system. As someone who plays Pokemon Go the new avatar customizations don't bother me too much, in fact I think it's cool that it represents different body types now rather than just one body type for male/female avatars. In fact, the avatars are more gender neutral in a way, and I think that's why so many people are upset over it. Other reasons though are the models themselves looking a bit janky and not as polished as they used to be.
  4. Mine was definitely when I made it to Uru Mais in Legend of Legaia. There's a part when the three main characters fall asleep and you get a glimpse into their past. Vahn, the main character dreams about the time when he was 4 years old and his mother was sick. He overhears the Village Elder that his mom can recover if someone is able to get medicine from Drake Castle, but no one could leave the village because of the mist. Vahn tries to leave Rim Elm to get the medicine, but his father realizes what happened and goes after Vahn. His mom passed away and his dad was fine but was injured. That caught me off guard when I first played the game, and it made me cry. I was 12 years old when I first beat the game.
  5. It's similar to Mega Man, it's a fast paced action platformer. Keiji Inafune, the guy who created Mega Man worked on it. It wasn't as good as it could have been, so now I'm weary about backing Kickstarter projects. You can read more about it on the wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mighty_No._9
  6. If you prefer to play your Switch on the go and love handhelds then it's definitely worth getting a Switch Lite. My wife loves handhelds, she always prefers to play Pokemon on the go so she was happy when I got her a Switch Lite. Plus it's cheaper too, the only downfall is if you get stick drift you have to take the entire handheld apart to fix it whereas on the normal Switch you can easily just take apart the joy cons without having to worry about disassembling the whole Switch.
  7. I hated math, I could never comprehend it and it took me years to finally understand some basic math. I was always better at English, I always did a great job writing papers. I liked some science courses I took but I hated Biology. I didn't like my teacher for one thing, but it also confused me at times and reminded me too much of math class in some aspects.
  8. I don't recommend the Hyperkin cables. I've bought two cables for the Sega Genesis and both of them crapped out on me. I like Hyperkin's controllers though, it's a shame their HD adapters for the Genesis aren't reliable. I did get a Xbox HD adapter too, but I haven't used my original Xbox in a while so I'm not sure if the cord still works or not.
  9. I prefer to have short hair, it's easier to deal with and if my hair gets too long I would have to put it up in a man bun at work since I work in a factory and I don't want to do that lol. My father has long hair and I don't know how he deals with it, I know he would comb it constantly.
  10. I currently have 450 GB of free space on the SSD installed in my computer. I have a couple external hard drives from older computers and a broken PS4, but I have lots of files still stored on the hard drives. (The PS4 hard drive I just formatted and installed Launchbox on it.) The hard drive from the PS4 was 500 GB, the hard drive from my old desktop is a 1 TB hard drive, I can't remember how big the other hard drive is. That one came from my wife's old toshiba laptop. As for my PS5 I know I need to get a extra drive soon since I'm almost out of space. I still have about 700 gb of space on my Xbox Series S's SSD.
  11. It seems that these people never played The Lion King on the Genesis/SNES nor Earthworm Jim 2 on the Genesis/SNES. I still have yet to beat either game because I keep getting stuck in certain levels. In The Lion King, I barely ever made it past the stampede level, whereas in Earthworm Jim 2 I get stuck on the Flying King level. I also think Mega Man and Bass is more difficult than Mega Man 9. Heck I woulds say Mega Man 11 is more difficult than Mega Man 9! I've been wanting to get that Shinobi game, all the Shinobi games aren't easy btw. I never beat The Revenge of Shinobi because it's very difficult, same with Shadow Dancer. (Shadow Dancer is more like the first Shinobi game from the Arcade/Master System.)
  12. I never leave home without my phone as well as my wallet. It's always good to carry your wallet around, it's much easier than carrying your card/license in your pocket. I remember one time I went to work and left my phone at home. I felt out of place, and my breaks were kind of boring too. I did talk to a few of my coworkers though.
  13. My first job was a cashier at a local grocery store. I hated it and I barely made minimum wage, I got paid every week too but I also was part time so that didn't help. Plus you have to join a union if you work at the local grocery chains, and they take out union fees.
  14. I always want to go back to sleep first thing in the morning if it's a weekday. Now if it's the weekend the first thing that comes to mind is that I need to get some caffeine so I can wake up and do the things I need to get done around the house.
  15. The movie I'm looking forward to the most is definitely Sonic the Hedgehog 3! Shadow will be appearing in the film, and he's my second favorite character in the series. Plus I wonder how they're going to handle his story. I can imagine it's going to be heartbreaking...
  16. That's the neat part, I don't lol. All my controllers and cords are shoved together in a shelf with pull out cubes. I need to get around to actually organizing everything, I just unpacked everything quite quickly after I moved into my house a couple years ago. I might finally get around to organizing everything this weekend, better late than never right?
  17. I usually get snacks every time I buy groceries, and I get groceries every weekend. I usually get donuts or other snack cakes, sometimes I'll get a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream too. I always get chips as well, but I usually have a small bag of chips as a snack at work.
  18. I've been wanting to get into this series, I might have to pick up a copy for my Series S! I've heard many great things about Grandia, I think this would be the best way to experience the games IMO.
  19. Overall I have at least 30 controllers. I know I have more Sega Genesis controllers than any other controller. I have a few weird controllers I found at a local game store and at Goodwill. A lot of them no longer work though, so I need to take them apart and see if I can fix them. I mainly have first party controllers for my other consoles, aside from my SNES. I do have a couple third party controllers for the Xbox One/Series S.
  20. I won't be getting another pet any time soon, I just got a kitten back in September last year and he's a handful lol. I wouldn't trade him for the world though, I love him so much. He imprinted on my wife and I pretty quickly too, which is unusual for a cat. We also have a old cat named Gizmo, two cats are enough for my wife and I for now at least. 😛
  21. I just usually have Pancakes as a meal. I prefer waffles to pancakes though, they actually hold the maple syrup whereas pancakes absorb the syrup too fast. I love me some chocolate chip pancakes though. I usually only have pancakes from Ihop or hotcakes from McDonald's.
  22. I wish my friends were more into Sonic and Mega Man. I have friends who are into Pokemon at least, and that's my second favorite gaming franchise. I wish I knew more people in real life to talk about Sonic to that's played a good majority of the games. Sure my wife has played a few Sonic games, mainly the first three but she never made it far in those games.
  23. I think my perfect day would consist of me going out and finding a abandoned building to explore, I've been wanting to explore for a very long time. Getting to go around and take pictures of my journey without getting caught would be thrilling and fun! Then coming home and posting my images online for others to see, then just chilling and playing video games. Maybe someday I'll actually be successful in my journey, I did attempt to explore a few buildings in the past but didn't get far since my wife and I encountered people and we didn't want to be around them. Whether they were just homeless people or using the building for a meth lab I'll never know. We left shortly after discovering one of them watching us from a broken out window.
  24. Legend of Legaia deserves a remake more than any other game IMO. It's the best RPG on the Playstation 1 IMO, and it got completely overshadowed by Final Fantasy VIII. It's also not playable on any modern console, you can't finish the game on a PS3 because the emulator doesn't emulate the game properly. I know there's a fan remaking the game now, and at least someone is tackling such a project because it'll probably never get an official remake nor a port to modern Playstation consoles because as far as I'm aware, the trademark for the name is long gone.
  25. I own multiple versions of many Sonic the Hedgehog games, I own a few versions of Sonic 1 and 2 on the Genesis but I also own it via Mega Collection Plus, as well as Sonic Origins. I also own Sonic Unleashed both on the PS2 and Xbox 360, though the two are different enough since the PS2 version is missing the werehog stages. I have Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast as well as the Gamecube, Steam, and Xbox 360. I own Sonic Colors Ultimate digitally and physically on the PS4, I got annoyed that I would have to wait until the evening to get my physical copy in the mail so I bought it digitally so I can play it early. I also own multiple copies of Sonic Mania as well as Sonic Forces, I have the original digital release of Mania on the Xbox One but I have Mania Plus on PS4 and a Switch double pack of Mania with Team Sonic Racing, and I have a physical copy of Sonic Forces on the switch via the double pack with Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. I'm wanting to own every Sonic game possible physically, which is why I have duplicates of a few games. I've also wanted to get the foreign versions of the Genesis titles, so I have a complete Canadian version of Sonic 1. (The box art is the same as the Pal region since Sega reused the Pal manual so they didn't have to reprint a multi-language manual.) I would love to get the Japanese titles since the box art looks super cool. I also own multiple copies of Pokemon Yellow as well as Gold. Both copies of gold need new batteries, I just need to get some flux and practice on other things before attempting to replace the batteries in these games. I also have multiple copies of Teen Titans on console, I want to own it on Xbox so I can own every version of the game but it's too expensive on the Xbox for some reason. So I have it on PS2 as well as Gamecube. I also have Judge Dredd as well as Aahh! Real Monsters! on both the Sega genesis and Super Nintendo. Oh and I have multiple copies of Tetris on the NES, this was by mistake though since I got sent a copy last month in my retro game treasure box which I thought I had listed the game in my collection... Guess either I forgot to or they sent me a duplicate on accident.
