  1. The movie I'm looking forward to the most is definitely Sonic the Hedgehog 3! Shadow will be appearing in the film, and he's my second favorite character in the series. Plus I wonder how they're going to handle his story. I can imagine it's going to be heartbreaking...
  2. That's the neat part, I don't lol. All my controllers and cords are shoved together in a shelf with pull out cubes. I need to get around to actually organizing everything, I just unpacked everything quite quickly after I moved into my house a couple years ago. I might finally get around to organizing everything this weekend, better late than never right?
  3. I usually get snacks every time I buy groceries, and I get groceries every weekend. I usually get donuts or other snack cakes, sometimes I'll get a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream too. I always get chips as well, but I usually have a small bag of chips as a snack at work.
  4. I've been wanting to get into this series, I might have to pick up a copy for my Series S! I've heard many great things about Grandia, I think this would be the best way to experience the games IMO.
  5. Overall I have at least 30 controllers. I know I have more Sega Genesis controllers than any other controller. I have a few weird controllers I found at a local game store and at Goodwill. A lot of them no longer work though, so I need to take them apart and see if I can fix them. I mainly have first party controllers for my other consoles, aside from my SNES. I do have a couple third party controllers for the Xbox One/Series S.
  6. I won't be getting another pet any time soon, I just got a kitten back in September last year and he's a handful lol. I wouldn't trade him for the world though, I love him so much. He imprinted on my wife and I pretty quickly too, which is unusual for a cat. We also have a old cat named Gizmo, two cats are enough for my wife and I for now at least. 😛
  7. I just usually have Pancakes as a meal. I prefer waffles to pancakes though, they actually hold the maple syrup whereas pancakes absorb the syrup too fast. I love me some chocolate chip pancakes though. I usually only have pancakes from Ihop or hotcakes from McDonald's.
  8. I wish my friends were more into Sonic and Mega Man. I have friends who are into Pokemon at least, and that's my second favorite gaming franchise. I wish I knew more people in real life to talk about Sonic to that's played a good majority of the games. Sure my wife has played a few Sonic games, mainly the first three but she never made it far in those games.
  9. I think my perfect day would consist of me going out and finding a abandoned building to explore, I've been wanting to explore for a very long time. Getting to go around and take pictures of my journey without getting caught would be thrilling and fun! Then coming home and posting my images online for others to see, then just chilling and playing video games. Maybe someday I'll actually be successful in my journey, I did attempt to explore a few buildings in the past but didn't get far since my wife and I encountered people and we didn't want to be around them. Whether they were just homeless people or using the building for a meth lab I'll never know. We left shortly after discovering one of them watching us from a broken out window.
  10. Legend of Legaia deserves a remake more than any other game IMO. It's the best RPG on the Playstation 1 IMO, and it got completely overshadowed by Final Fantasy VIII. It's also not playable on any modern console, you can't finish the game on a PS3 because the emulator doesn't emulate the game properly. I know there's a fan remaking the game now, and at least someone is tackling such a project because it'll probably never get an official remake nor a port to modern Playstation consoles because as far as I'm aware, the trademark for the name is long gone.
  11. I own multiple versions of many Sonic the Hedgehog games, I own a few versions of Sonic 1 and 2 on the Genesis but I also own it via Mega Collection Plus, as well as Sonic Origins. I also own Sonic Unleashed both on the PS2 and Xbox 360, though the two are different enough since the PS2 version is missing the werehog stages. I have Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast as well as the Gamecube, Steam, and Xbox 360. I own Sonic Colors Ultimate digitally and physically on the PS4, I got annoyed that I would have to wait until the evening to get my physical copy in the mail so I bought it digitally so I can play it early. I also own multiple copies of Sonic Mania as well as Sonic Forces, I have the original digital release of Mania on the Xbox One but I have Mania Plus on PS4 and a Switch double pack of Mania with Team Sonic Racing, and I have a physical copy of Sonic Forces on the switch via the double pack with Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. I'm wanting to own every Sonic game possible physically, which is why I have duplicates of a few games. I've also wanted to get the foreign versions of the Genesis titles, so I have a complete Canadian version of Sonic 1. (The box art is the same as the Pal region since Sega reused the Pal manual so they didn't have to reprint a multi-language manual.) I would love to get the Japanese titles since the box art looks super cool. I also own multiple copies of Pokemon Yellow as well as Gold. Both copies of gold need new batteries, I just need to get some flux and practice on other things before attempting to replace the batteries in these games. I also have multiple copies of Teen Titans on console, I want to own it on Xbox so I can own every version of the game but it's too expensive on the Xbox for some reason. So I have it on PS2 as well as Gamecube. I also have Judge Dredd as well as Aahh! Real Monsters! on both the Sega genesis and Super Nintendo. Oh and I have multiple copies of Tetris on the NES, this was by mistake though since I got sent a copy last month in my retro game treasure box which I thought I had listed the game in my collection... Guess either I forgot to or they sent me a duplicate on accident.
  12. I'm not sure if it's real, I've never played Fall Guys nor really have been interested in the game. But if it's a Sonic version, I might check it out? It could be a good game to play with other people in the Sonic community, I'm part of the hacking contest as a judge and we've been thinking of playing games together this would be a good party game to play with them.
  13. Mighty No. 9, I actually backed the project and was super hopeful that the game would be great! But once the game was delayed numerous times, and so many ideas were thrown around while the game was still being developed, the game just was mediocre. Funny enough I'm actually reviving my Mighty No. 9 fan forum, I noticed a few weeks ago someone decided to port the game to the PS Vita and 3DS, not full ports but it's more than what Comcept delivered and got the idea to bring back my old community for the heck of it.
  14. As someone who is a die hard Sonic fan, I say Unleashed day time stages are definitely worth playing especially on a Xbox Series X/S! The game runs at a full 60 fps, I can't wait to experience this game in 60 fps once I get my Xbox Series S tomorrow. The werehog stages aren't the best, I still think Knuckles should have been a playable character but it would have thrown off the story. Word of advice, never listen to the critics when it comes to Sonic games. Even the best games don't get the best scores because of some random website giving a game a mediocre score. (Just look at Frontiers, it almost got a great score but then some random website decided to give it a 5 out of 10 and of course started their review talking about Sonic 06 and how "Sonic's leap into 3D was rocky." 🙄) Generations is better though, and of course Sonic Mania has been the best game to come out of the franchise in the 2010's. (Though I do prefer 2D Sonic over 3D...)
  15. Your best bet is to emulate the Sega CD version of the game, as far as I'm aware it's the only version in English and purchasing a copy of the game is already expensive let alone if you don't have a working Genesis/Sega CD that's going to cost you a bit too. (The Genesis won't cost much but finding a working Sega CD will.) Honestly the story is great but as someone who doesn't like point and click games I stay away from it. I watched someone else play through the game on Youtube. I love the soundtrack though, especially the Sega CD version.
  16. I've been meaning to play this game for years, now that it's on PS5 I might actually give it a go. I know my favorite DC character is in the game, so any game where I get to play as Raven is a plus for me! I just wish she was voiced by Tara Strong in the game though...
  17. Does Tails count? Because I know that Tails had two of his own games, but they both were just too different from the normal Sonic formula. They're also only on the Game Gear, for those not aware of the games I'm talking about they're both Tails Sky Patrol and Tails' Adventure. Sky patrol was originally supposed to be a Disney game but plans fell through and Sega just had it repurposed as a spinoff Sonic title, plus it only came out in Japan. It's a on rails shooter, and Tails' Adventure is similar to a side scrolling action adventure RPG. I also think Silver the Hedgehog needs his own game too, he's only been in Sonic 06, and both Sonic Rivals games other than Sonic Forces on Mobile.
  18. Sonic comes close to Mario in terms of spin offs but Mario definitely has the most. There was going to be an even earlier educational Sonic game called Sonic Edusoft for the Sega Master System but it got canceled. There's a prototype of the game online though. There's also a few Sega Pico titles that are educational too, Tails and the Music Maker along with Sonic the Hedgehog's Gameworld. (Though the Pico was targeted young toddlers, in fact I was the demographic for the console when it was released since it came out when I was 4 lol.) So the thought of educational Sonic games isn't too bizarre. You've also got the Leapster Sonic game too, and that's a educational handheld. I think Mario only has one educational game? I could be wrong about that.
  19. To me music is the third most important aspect of a game. I'd rather the game have a good soundtrack than good graphics. I also enjoy listening to video game music while browsing the internet and even while I'm cleaning. It really helps immerse you into the game, Tomb Raider is probably my favorite example of this. Music cues only play during certain moments in a level, sometimes it's used to warn you about upcoming danger, other times it's used to showcase the moment.
  20. I prefer wired headphones myself, but I wouldn't mind getting a wireless headset or pair of headphones. I might actually ask for one for my birthday, my headphones still work fine but I've had them for a few years now and my kitten likes to try and play with the cord lol. I don't like earbuds though, I think they're a waste of money and they don't fit me right anyways.
  21. I would love a remake of Fighting Force too! Years ago I played it with a friend, then I played Streets of Rage and thought it reminded me of FF. Makes sense, after all Fighting Force is what the original Streets of Rage 4 was going to be. Sega sold the assets they made for SoR 4 to Core. It's a fun 3D beat em up, I think the genre was getting a bit stale when it came out and maybe that's why some people didn't like it? I loved it and I have a copy of the game now.
  22. Honestly I'm paranoid and because I am I haven't cleaned any of my computers. :S I need to get around to cleaning my desktop at least since it's pretty easy to take apart. I just need to get some compressed air and take it outside. I have a old desktop I've been wanting to setup to see if I can use it for just a server, though I know the graphics card in that is probably dead since it was going out when I stopped using the computer. Perhaps giving it a good cleaning is all it needs but it's 10 years old at this point. I'm less paranoid about taking that computer apart since it's not my main computer.
  23. I finished up Young Justice the other night, it was the last show I watched. I was hoping we'd get a season 5 someday, but with it's track record of getting cancelled three times I just don't see it happening. It was amazing, I really like how they've written a few of my favorite DC characters like Tara Markov and Garfield Logan. (Terra and Beast Boy/Changeling)
  24. Sega is still my favorite game developer, I love that they've revived Streets of Rage and are reviving some of their other IPs like Golden Axe too. Heck even Sonic Team is fine, I know there's a few Sonic games that could have been better but generally speaking the majority of Sonic games are decent at best. Sega also has the Yakuza/ Like a Dragon games which I've heard are good and I've been meaning to give them a go someday.
  25. Trust me when I say it's not as bad as Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric. It isn't even near as bad as Sonic 06 either, it's an okay game. Stay away from the PS2 version, the Gamecube or Xbox versions are better. I used to defend the game more when I was 16 since I really loved it back then, but now I can see it's alright. There are a few different endings to get so if you do play it, you'll be replaying it quite often. I know a few people who obtained all the endings. Honestly the internet is way too harsh on Sonic as a whole, sure there are some bad 3D games but the majority of them aren't too terrible. They're not as good as the 2D games, but they're good. (Not all of them of course!)
