That's something you would have to ask @DC about. I don't know what the shipping would cost, but that is an interesting question to note.

I normally use it to look up Steam Sale Events and check if games I'm interested in have some kind of discount or deal.

    LOL,
Well the Zombie game would annoy me too if I would get blasted with white noise during a game I was forced to lose, and I always felt being good at the game or getting lost in it gave me more self esteem?
If it wasn't for games I probably wouldn't be where I am in live or have the imagination I have that carries me through difficult times.

Modern Rockstar/ Take 2 interactive are the definition of greed - they're not really that much better than EA.
Most people here would agree with you because we've seen them doing a lot of crap in the last few years/

That's true, and I do agree that a large portion of the VN industry thrives on using such fanservice for profit, but what I meant was that people tend to generalize that all VNs are like that, when there's plenty of solid VN titles that aren't just porn simulators, not to mention certain VN studios which publish VNs that avoid sex scenes altogether like Key (Little Busters, Clannad, Kanon, etc. are all family-friendly). The Higurashi games are suitable for all ages, ironically, considering that the anime adaptations are all filled with blood and gore. Most people's favorite anime like Steins;Gate and Fate/Stay Night came from visual novels too.
I just think it's a shame for people to just dismiss such a great storytelling medium as "hurr durr, cringey nude anime girls go brrr."

I have had similar experience with such kind of people who rates anime lovers low and to be very honest with you, I don't give a damn about what they say because it's completely useless. I'm even in one anime forum and I'm enjoying my time there.

I don't understand why people call consoles "too expensive" when they same people say they will play on PC, which is significantly more expensive.

And before anyone says it, no, the gaming PC serving as a utility as well as a gaming device argument doesn't work ether as the components you need to make a gaming PC a gaming PC are not necessary in a simple, utility computer, and it's in those comments that all cost for a gaming PC comes from. You can buy a PS5 and a cheap laptop to cover both the utility PC needs and your gaming needs and still have spend less than half what it would cost to build a gaming PC that matches the performance of a PS5. It's not like I'm white knighting here for consoles, I am a PC gamer, but I'm also honest and the PC as a gaming platform is expensive. Can it be worth it? Yes, not to everyone, largely because the install price is so high. It's not like PC games are that cheap compared to consoles now, especially when you consider you can't loan, trade and buy second hand games on PC like you can with consoles.

So sorry, @Gonassis, I disagree. The cost of consoles argument doesn't hold weight me when comes from a PC gamer. It's totally get how you might not see a games console as being a worthwhile investment for you because you a gaming PC, that's fair, but there's a difference between cost and value. Value is something judged and gauged by the individual, so the value of something is determined by your own self and nobody can argue with it, but cost a simple, straight up fact. That fact is the PC costs more, it just does. Unless you can show me a PC or PC build that matches the capabilities of a games console for same price, that will remain as a fact.

Gonassis reacted to Akun in How often do you buy video games the week they release?
Very rarely unless it's for a franchise I love, and I don't generally get interested in a lot of AAA franchises most people love. Generally, I just find it difficult to get into a new franchise I've never known before, so I became a very fussy buyer. The last time I paid for a game before it was even released was for Soul Hackers 2, but only because I've devoted myself to play all SMT games. Before that, it was the Chaos;Head Double Pack on the Switch, which is set to release this October.
Usually, I would only wait for the reviews to come out and decide from the word-of-mouth whether the game is worth playing or not. And even then, I would probably wait up to two years before I find the motivation to buy the game.

I actually got caught up in that GTA Trilogy BS. Everyone thought that it's something that's going to deliver because of the company behind it but it was a major disappointment and a big disaster even at the price it was sold at.

I did get RDR2 when it came out on Xbox One the first week but that's about it. I usually wait for reviews and a reasonable deal before I buy any modern games - it has saved me from many disappointments like GTA trilogy edition.

Usually I don't unless it's a game I really want. Last game I purchased brand new, was probably RDR2, but I am not 100% anymore. It may have been WWE 2K22, but I forget. Either way, I don't usually buy the first, second or even the third week. These days I just get gamepass and that's really all I ever need. I download some games, play them, and then move on to the next. I play older games more than I play newer games. I also buy older games more than I buy newer games. It helps having gamepass, so I haven't had to purchase much as of late.

If there's a great deal ( which happens rarely) I'll definitely buy it but I think I've only done that a handful of times if I'm being honest.

Zero purchases during game's first one week of release. I buy video games after some weeks passed or months, at times it is around three weeks of the game's release. At times, I wait like 2-3 months before getting the game. The reason is because, I want to learn from the fist timers of the game, if the game truly worth the money or another nightmare.

Those were the days when magazines came with a demo disk, while the magazines were mostly shit like opm you just got these for the demo disk, good times as a kid and a great way to discover new games and kill a few hours in anticipation whenever your parents would give you a new game. Oh man more simpler times that sadly will never come back.
I had a subscription to retrogamer for the longest time but that was until a few years ago because they starting to focus more and more on old mostly british computers then anything else it diden't interest me all that much anymore and since it's coming from the uk it was like 125 euros a year for subscription which was expensive for a magazine that i just tended to flip trough quickly once before throwing on top the pile.
I still buy a dutch magazine called power unlimited every month but don't have a subscription for it.

I love state of decay think i put atleast 60 hours into the first game, the second game however, i see that it's still getting updated all the time, i never played yet. I had just beaten the first state of decay when the second game came out, so opted to wait a while before playing the second one as with many things in life i never got around to it.
I do hope they put more emphasis on the surviving as a group or why not give us the option to play solo without a group, because that was one of the strongest points in the series -> the survival aspect, why not have rival gangs included aswell and hell why not being able to fall in love with a fellow survivor and give us the option to have children.
It's a damn shame i haven't gotten around state of decay 2 yet, i should make work of that sometime soon.

I don't know how I feel about the only capable studio that Microsoft has in terms of tech helping others while basically halting their own game development. Especially with regard to niche games like SoD 3.

Sadly I do not own a PS5, but I wouldn't mind getting one soon, or whenever I can financially afford it. I don't think I necessarily need one though, I feel like the catalog is still kinda small. I have a gaming PC as well, so I honestly don't see a point in rushing to get one, same with the Series X. I'm not seeing anything from either that would push me to purchase them yet anyway, especially since I feel pretty good with what I can get on PC at the moment.
One of these days though, maybe I'll get one. 🙂

We can't compromise our health for anything whatsoever in the world and not even for a Playstation 5. It's when you're alive and healthy that you can actually play on the PlayStation 5.
Your health comes first, as you can always save up and buy the console whenever you can.

This game is such a product of its time, in world where everyone was bumping out call of Duty’s and making you mow down endless people without batting an eye, this game tricks you beautifuly into playing its game, and you make the same choices as walker and make the same excuses as him too. You don’t even stop to think until someone else has already suffered. I’m glad I experienced this without spoilers all those years ago. And that many people are aware of its genius.

I generally don't tell people I watch anime, because even in modern communities, especially Discord, people still make fun of you for being a "weeb." It really doesn't hep that I'm also a big visual novel fanatic, and VNs tend to be labeled as "weeb games with naughty anime girls," when nothing could be further from the truth.
