  1. It depends on the game. There are many retro games that have soundtracks that I adore. Newer games usually don't put much into the soundtrack, so I usually mute those.
  2. I don't think I've ever gone past 16-18 hours. I guess I'm just a casual. I know people who have played for days on end without stopping.

I have a cheap Rosewill RGB keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches. I love the clicky sound and feel.
  4. AMD is owning Intel and NVidia right now. Pair a Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700 with a Radeon 5600 or 5700 XT, and you'll have a very reasonably priced machine (well under $1000 in many cases) that can run anything on high settings. You definitely get more for your money on Team Red.
  5. My favorite was SimCity 3000. I played SimCity 4, but I wasn't a huge fan. The newest one was okay, but it got boring quickly. Overall, I think it's a case where they kept trying to cash in on a game that had run its course.
  6. I actually remember Habbo Hotel. It was a hilarious game. I guess I'd say I prefer it over Roblox simply for the nostalgia factor.
  7. GTA Online is a good example. I feel like that game is still worshiped by many, but I've never liked it at all. I found it to be quite a disappointment.
  8. Story is far more important to me. Action is a bonus, I suppose, but it's never the main reason that I play a game. Some of the games I play have horrible combat, yet the story carries them.
  9. That's crazy that it's still $60. It was released so long ago. I wonder if anybody has actually bought it for that price recently.
  10. I feel like sometimes, developers spend too long on graphics and forget to make the game. 😛 That seems to happen quite often. An alarming percentage of games that are released just feel unfinished.
  11. GTA Online. They sold it as an open world third person shooter, but all of the actual gameplay is in cooperative scenarios. The open world is like a minigame. There's sixty percent of a hundred dollars that I'll never see again.
  12. AMD is actually destroying Intel in the CPU market at the moment in all sectors from low end to enthusiast. Even people who used to be Intel fanboys like Linus Tech Tips have converted to Team Red. Intel was the undisputed champion except on the lower end until Ryzen came out, but now AMD is the way to go.
  13. It's so odd when they try to take video games to other media. I always think of Tomb Raider. where they made Angelina Jolie into Lara Croft. I guess it could work, but usually the people creating the other media don't really understand video games well.
  14. I forgot about Mario Kart. I dabbled in that a bit back in the day. I didn't have it, but my cousin did; we played it when I was at his house.
  15. Wait, they have Skyrim for consoles? I didn't even realize that.
  16. You're probably better off with 16 GB of RAM for gaming these days. Having only 8 GB can hinder you in some games. Laptops still aren't nearly as viable as desktops for gaming, but there are some laptops out there that can game quite competently.
  17. It would be easier for me to count the games that I'm good at. 😉 I'm particularly awful at games that require strategy, though. Any RTS game and several shooters are nearly impossible for me to play because of that.
  18. I've never liked a futuristic game. Usually, if a game is set in the future, it's a safe bet that I won't like it no matter what.
  19. That's why PC is the way to go. Pretty much every game ever released for PC can be played on Windows 10. It might require some workarounds or patches, but it's possible. Console manufacturers, however, can and do arbitrarily restrict games from running on their latest hardware.
  20. I don't think VR will be common in esports for a long time. The fact that only a few graphics cards on the market are capable of decent performance on VR games makes it less than ideal for an environment where performance is everything.
  21. Arcanum for sure. It's such a perfect atmosphere, and it's comfortable to play since I've played it through so many times. I come back to that game all the time.
  22. I hate everything about GTA 5. The older ones like VC and SA had depth and an actual story. Even GTA IV had a compelling story. GTA V is a disappointment.
  23. I bought Skyrim in 2015 on Steam because it was on sale. I have never played it. I probably won't.
  24. All you need is a P90. It's the best gun to make everyone in the match instantly despise you. 😉 Seriously, though, I usually like to do M4A1 or AK-47, depending on which side I'm on.
  25. The only racing game I've ever played is Gallop Racer 2003: A New Breed, a horse racing game. I guess I'm decent at it. It's a very obscure title that seems to have been more popular in Japan than in the U.S. I only managed to find it because a video rental store near me had it back in the day. I still play it from time to time.
