  1. There's actually very little chance of any being left in mint condition. Like I said, people were desperate to play it, and tore those boxes open before they even got the game home. You have a better chance of finding a rough draft of the constitution in your grandmothers attic. And it's not auction houses that determine the price of a rare and collectible game. It's the collectors. The one who owns it sets his price and refuses to let it go until someone agrees to his price. If they go through an auction house (and that's a big if), they can set a minimum price. If it doesn't meet that price, the item doesn't sell. It's supply and demand. The supply in this case is almost nil, whereas the demand is extremely high among the more serious collectors. Finding a mint condition, graded, CIB, copy of SMB3 is the holy grail. The only other NES cartridge that sells for more is the gold NES World Champion cartridge. It was a single cartridge awarded to the top champions during the NES tournament in 1990. They only made 26 of them. There is one on eBay right now going for two million. And it has almost 1500 people watching it. So there are people with the money that are willing to take the chance of a lifetime.

If I had 2 million to blow, I would buy the damn thing. But I'm lucky if I can scrounge up even $2 to blow, let alone 2 millon.

  2. I'm going to assume that for the GTA Trilogy is encompasses GTA 1/2/3? The real question is with their age, are there any gamers left who even play the first three? There have been a lot of titles in the series, so I'm willing to bet the answer to that question is No. But as I have said before, I'm not the most educated on the GTA franchise, so those who are, I welcome anything you can tell me.

I think a lot of classic game developers have closed the shop over the years so the cost of those games definitely gets expensive. like any other antique product.

That, and a lot of those plot lines and game ideas have been abandoned since then. There is/was only one single game under that title, so there's no series to speak of. And some companies tried to release games, but with every attempt their games went from bad to worse, so they ended up going bankrupt and we never saw them again. But the good thing about games back then is that developers were willing to take the risk for something completely different and unique. Which is why I miss the era of the 80's to early 90's of gaming. But also why I still play it.

It's going to be close. I think we'll come up around 113k, nevertheless an awesome year for VGR.

113k would be great, but I'm thinking that with only 5 more days left in the year, 111k is going to be a more plausible number in my eyes. Sure this forum gets a shitload of posts every day, but being that at the time of me making this post (10:05AM 12-26-21), we're at 109k. So I don't think realistically that we'll pick up 4000 posts in 5 days.

  5. There are classic games that are worth 6 figures, and in some cases even 7 figures. But it's all dependent on the title, and the condition. Some are the holy grail to collectors, while others are just neat to have. I have a CIB copy of Blaster Master(NES), Killer Instinct(SNES), and The Rocketeer(SNES). None of them are worth anything special. But it's neat to have them. The only thing missing from Killer Instinct is the soundtrack. But if I can find one that isn't going for an arm and a leg, I do plan on buying it at some point. The only place I've been able to find it is on eBay, and it's expensive as hell.

You fit money to cover up for that young woman, I wouldn't try that by upgrading the game from showing Ads. For me, it will display ads and get tired of displaying it.

    My money, my choice.

I hate to use the word community, because that suggests they are somehow all the same and must act as a group rather than individuals. It's like saying the straight community, there is no such thing as a straight community, I Have nothing in common with most other straight people. So why should there be an LGBTQ community? Where everyone who is not straight is lumped together as if they are indistinguishable from each other. To me this seems more homophobic than any stupid game can ever be.

So what are we then? A ravenous pack? In need of an extermination squad after us? The scum of society?

Community suggests that we are human beings that support each other. But wait, we're not a community because your bigotry says so. I guess we now need to hold an international meeting, and between all the butt fucking and pussy eating, figure out what we are. That's the action we need to take, right? You could lead it since you're the one who gets the final and supreme vote. But you'll have to wait a bit for the guys to take of their bras and panties so they can bang each other, and the women take off their lumberjack clothes to eat each other out. Because that's what we all are. Sex crazed perverts.

I get heated on this kind of bigotry. We're already an oppressed community due to rampant bigotry and overzealous conservatism. We have fought for decades to be treated as human beings, with little success. In the last 4 years, here in the states, we actually lost a lot of our rights. Including the right to be people. We were classified as an "unperson". Which in turn, made it legal to kill us with little to no consequences.

And it's because of people like you. We're trying to drive ice cars through Hell, and you're laughing at us for our attempts. Because of people like you, I feel like Sisyphus.

I would definitely like to see it because even with the explanation, I'm still finding it hard to understand what or how it works. Maybe I should seek YouTube's help.

I would post it, but it has my first and last name in it, as well as @Rain Dew's name. I have no problem giving my first name. It's Jennifer. But for privacy and safety reasons, I don't want to give out my last name.

  9. Cats could try, but they wouldn't succeed. My habitats are impenetrable for dogs or cats. I know this because I have several towers that sit on the floor. My pitbull is amazed by rats, and always wants to play with them. But despite how smart she is, she just can't figure out how to get them out.

  10. It all depends on the system. I'll name a few of the ones I remember best.

Atari 2600- Pac-Man, Frogger, Pitfall, Galaga, Q*Bert, Berzerk, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Joust, and Swordquest.

Colecovision- Ladybug, Donkey Kong, and one other that I can't remember the name of.

NES- SMB, Zelda, Blaster Master, Mega Man, TMNT, Castlevania, Bubble Bobble, Contra, Astyanax, Excitebike, Wizards & Warriors, and Punch Out.

SNES- Zelda, SMB, Blackthorne, Street Fighter 2, Earthworm Jim 2, Final Fantasy(multiple), Mario Kart, F-Zero, Star Fox, Mario Is Missing, and Mortal Kombat.

N64- Zelda OoT/MM, Mario, Hexen, South Park, 1080 Snowboarding, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mario Kart, Castlevania, and Banjo Kazooie.

PS1- Castlevania SOTN, FF8, Bushido Blade, Dark Stone, Diablo, Coolboarders, and MDK.

Sega Genesis- Sonic(series), MK, Pitfall The Mayan Adventure, Ghouls 'N Ghosts, and Tinhead.

I have spent more time on the Atari 2600, Colecovision, and NES than I have any other system that I have ever played.

It's sad that you have to spend Christmas all by yourself alone. If it were possible, I would have it arranged for a few of us here spend time together.

Nothing new. I've been alone for almost 40 years now, so at this point, being around people feels weird and unnatural anyway.

  12. You're right. Many games wouldn't make it onto the market. Maybe that's why Hatred isn't on the PS4. Or Xbox. Or Switch. There is a line between PC and outrageous. How many people at Columbine do you think would be okay with this game? There have been so many school shootings in this country that the game would most likely be banned REAL quick. Possibly before it was even released. Personally I have PC. I have a sticker on the back of my van of a kid pissing on "political correctness" while giving you the finger. There are just some things that you don't do in a video game. Hell we may as well bring Custer's Revenge back with the updated graphics of today. I bet that one would go over great.
