Quite a bit. One of the best meals I grew up with was pork & beans with cornbread. Dice up the pork in small bits, mix it on with navy beans, put it on the stove with some water in it, then throw the cornbread in the oven. You have a perfect meal that is quick as hell. But I could make a meal out of cornbread alone, so that's a bit of a moot point.

Get to a point where games can be played in our heads?

That's the best way to go about it. Observe, but from a safe distance. Don't interact unless you have absolutely no other choice. Binoculars are your friend. -

Arachnids like spiders and scorpions do a huge service to the ecosystem. I even had a pet scorpion several years ago. The ones that I can't see any real benefit to the ecosystem are the parasites like fleas, ticks, mosquitos, chiggers, and the like. They pretty much just spread disease. Here our biggest concern from them is getting Lyme disease from ticks. In Africa (if I remember correctly) their biggest concern is getting Malaria from mosquitos. Sure there's a lot of venomous insects amongst the venomous arachnids, but they use that venom for hunting and self defense. -
Being an American company, there's no way they could. I don't know what the international laws are, but it's illegal here in the states. Microsoft had to bail out Apple to keep from having that monopoly in 1997 so they didn't go bankrupt. Here in the states, you're required by law to have competition. Microsoft has Sony and Nintendo, plus a ton of indie studios. As far as computers go, they have the competition from Apple once again.

I've seen a lot of reports and YouTube videos about how toxic those games are. It's fucking insane. It's also one of the things that makes a lot of gamers not even want to try the games out. As far as I'm concerned I think it should just be a group of lose friends against the games AI. It shouldn't even be a fully online game. Especially when the violence is taken real world. I know that it going real world is a once in a lifetime event of that ever happening, but the fights in game would most likely decrease.

She's been playing FF14 since the day it came out. She has run a few FC's and has several retainers. The only reason she has run more than one FC is because she changed servers.

MrBallen did a great video about that guy. I can't remember which one it was off the top of my head. I'll look back at some of his videos and see if I can find it. If I do, I'll post it. Here in Missouri the only bears we have are black bears. They're not as aggressive as other North American bears like Grizzly and Polar Bears. They tend to run more than anything. As for dens, they aren't the most fond of caves that are anywhere near human activity. Other places they hibernate are hollowed out logs, holes they dig in the ground, and abandoned dens of other bears. So they can be found just about anywhere. They tend to live further north of where I live, but do make their way down here on occasion.

I've seen videos and reports of COD games getting fucking nuts. Seasoned players seem to absolutely hate n00bs. Everyone was a n00b at some point to a game. You're not going to be perfect at a game the first time you play it. You're going to hit the wrong buttons due to trying to figure out how to play, and people need to ease the fuck off. @Rain Dew is actually having an issue with another gamer in FF14 right now. I won't get into any details. I'll leave that up to her if she wants to discuss it or not. But suffice it to say, it's getting pretty ugly.

What is the oldest game you still play regularly?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Where do I begin? I'll make it easy. Name virtually any NES game, and a vast amount of Atari 2600 games. I'm not going to try to list titles, because I'll be here all damn day. And then this post won't be a post anymore, it'll be an entire fucking book. So there's my answer. -
I hate crotch rockets. Get a real damn bike please.

The PS3 didn't have a whole lot of space, because the games were smaller and most ran straight from the disc. There wasn't much to download other than your save data. So it was decided that the PS3 didn't need a particularly big hard drive. Hell the first ones that came out (the ones that could play PS2 games) only had 20g-40g hard drives. So it wasn't much of a concern at the time.

We got an Oculus Rift before Facebook bought it. I just need to say right now that it was nothing but a piece of shit. I recommend never buying one regardless of who owns it.

Anyone who is a horror fan should definitely check out SHUDDER. It has virtually anything you would want to see. It's all horror/thriller in some way. I have had it for a while now, and love it. I'm sure everyone else here who is a horror nut will love it too.

Dried or fresh, I can eat them just fine.

What popular TV shows or Movies have you never seen?
The Blackangel replied to reecedouglas1's topic in Movies & TV
I know what it is. With reality TV, whether or not you watch it, we're almost required to know what it is, as it's crammed down our throats from every angle. It's a decent size part of why I have left TV behind and just watch YouTube, and streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. And just to mention it, if you're a horror nut, you should definitely get SHUDDER. They don't show anything but horror/thriller movies. They have a few other things like documentaries, but they're centered around things like serial killers and unexplained things. They do have a few episodes of Ancient Aliens that are pretty good. You would just have to look around. They also go way back to things like Nosferatu and Bella Lugosi's role as Dracula. It's well worth it for any horror fan. -
That depends from woman to woman. Some of us as more emotional than others, and get emotionally invested in a game. I know I got emotionally invested in RDR2. But @Rain Dew however didn't get invested like me. Other female gamers may get invested in different games, but it's still entirely a unique situation for every woman.

They put it in their mouths and chew. Why would they need iron teeth? I have no teeth on the bottom, and I eat them raw all the time. Beans are soft vegetables.

Should Nintendo focus more on having powerful hardware?
The Blackangel replied to GeppyX's topic in Nintendo
Zelda and Mario will keep gamers coming back to Nintendo for as long as they keep putting out games. There are gamers who only like those two franchises and are only willing to play them as far as Nintendo goes. So they keep up going forward with their two main mascots, and gamers will stay with them. -
"I came to suck you dry" Got it. It's a porno.

I've never seen any of that Housewives of... either. I refused to see the Aquaman movie, simply because that fucking cunt amber heard was in it. -
I do. I'll eat any vegetable raw.

In today's world, religion is nothing more than organized crime. It seeks power, not faith. The most faithful people I personally have ever encountered are Muslims. Jews would be a close second place after that. There's one Synagogue and one Mosque here in my town, and I've seen some of the most faithful people going to them. Whereas the churches are a lot different. Religion in my opinion, is a crutch and a trick to beat down the weak, and lift up the rest. The threat of eternal damnation is what got religions power in the first place when they were still small. Every religion started out as a cult. Even Judaism, Islam, and xtianity.

True, most games are aimed at men. The statistics show them where the most money is, and that's the target they aim for. Women are a much smaller demographic in the gaming industry. We're not rare by any means. There's millions of us in the states alone. But there's probably at least 3 male gamers for every female gamer. Maybe more.
